These are along with Levi 501's the best trousers I have ever owned. I bought a pair and liked them so much, I bought a second pair. Then I thought by the time they wear out they probably won't be making them anymore, so I bought another two. Perfect fit, tough as hell and fantastic if you have small calves as they hang so well. They are made of a heavy cotton canvas but don't feel heavy when you are wearing them. Having said that I would not wear them in the middle of summer.

These pants feel indestructible. They fit really well and move really well for as thick and stiff as the fabric is. It's like armor; they remind me of reinforced chainsaw pants.

Very well made pant. Fits at the waist with room in the seat. Mid-weight fabric. Double seams.

Good purchase! Comfortable and durable. These fit a lot like jeans but are roomy enough to move around in. Because of the weight they may not be the best summer pants.

I own several Kuhl pants and they never disappoint. These are well made, heavy but not stiff, exactly what I wanted!

I first saw a pair of these pants at a local Special Forces supply company that is located in Virginia Beach, VA. After reading countless reviews, I decided to purchase a pair. After wearing the first pair for a few days, I ordered two more. They are the most well-made pants that I have ever seen. They are very comfortable and are able to be worn on almost any occasion. They are obviously more expensive than a pair of jeans or cargo pants, but they should last twice as long. The fabric is tough, but very soft and pliable. What are you waiting for?

Excellent all around pants. Great for hiking or to replace jeans when around town. Very comfortable and rugged.

Great pants! Very tough but also comfortable. Kuhl makes fantastic pants and "The Law" is no exception. I seldom wear anything else. They are really that comfortable. My only complaint is that I wish they were made in the USA.

These are fantastic pants. Love the way they look, fit, feel especially here in the winter! The zipper pocket is awesome for phone, watch, rings when doing manual labor. Great work pants.

I have about 7 pairs of Kuhl pants and I love "the law". I bought these for a heavy duty, camping/paragliding/ general outdoor use pant. For being so bombproof, they are incredibly comfortable. Right out of the bag they felt great and move well with my body. Wear will make them even better. I love the zippered cell phone pocket. I will never wear a Carhartts again.

You need to try these! Now on my 6th pair of Kuhl. Fit is great. The law- going to be my go to camp/hunting pants. Nice and sturdy, love the phone pocket. Plus they look good. I've been in Levi's, but think Kuhl will be my new everyday pants. Only wish they had a denim color.

I absolutely love these pants. The cotton stretch material make these so great for performance type of activities. I personally bought these, 3 total, for the range. The style is a straight leg fit so if you want real baggy, then this not the pant for you.

First off, let me say I am a great fan of Kuhl pants. I especially love the gusseted crotch and articulated knees, which allow one to bend at the knees and sit cross-legged with comfort (in fact, I will not buy any pants without them). So why did I return this particular item? Potential buyers should be aware that "The Law" is a heavy pant; the heavy cotton canvas material is doubled on the front of the thigh to below the knees, and doubled in back to just above the knee. These pants are very rugged, well made, but probably not suited to a long day on the trail. I'm sure it is called The Law because it would stop a bullet. Unless you are a law enforcement officer or a lumberjack, you would be better off ordering the Ryder pant -- sort of the same material, but not so much of it.

These are really thick and heavy. I ordered them for general winter wear, but for me they are too heavy to wear casually. If that is what you are looking for and you like Kuhl pants, these will work for you.

I was really excited about the Law pant. The weight and fabric are very well made and the two side pockets come in very handy when hiking /camping in cold weather. The downside is the cut of the pants. The fit is very narrow in the seat / hip/ thigh area. Even though it says full fit. But wide in the knee and ankle area. It should be the opposite. It is difficult to put your hands in your front pockets and uncomfortable if you have a wallet in your back pocket. Also the inside snap strap behind the zipper sits to low and must be undone to go for a quick #1. This is a hassle because if you have a pack on it will need to come open. For pants this expensive it would be nice if they had that water resistant material the Columbia pants have and even nicer if made in the USA not overseas. 3 out of 5 stars...

These pants were great for a couple of months...then the zipper broke. If you are going to retail a pair of pants for a lot, you have to choose to offer high quality, or warranty. Kuhl does not do either and I do not recommend buying the product.
