LOVE these shoes! I have high arches and finding stylish shoes that are dressy enough for work yet comfortable to walk around the office campus is difficult. But these shoes (and all other J-41's I've gotten) fit the bill perfectly. I can walk all day and my legs do not feel fatigued and my plantar fasciitis does not act up. However, the black shoes are, in fact, as grey as grey can be, so don't order them if you are looking for black shoes. I love that these are casual enough for weekend wear, as well. Plus, due to the shape of my foot, wearing any sort of Mary Jane style shoe just does not work for me, but I can wear these and my feet don't look like they're going to explode out of them, which makes it nice to be able to have a different style of shoe, for once.

As soon as I put these shoes on, they felt fabulous! Couldn't believe it, but would they stand the test of time? I am on my feet most of the day teaching, and these shoes were extremely comfortable all day long! The first few days I wore these stylish shoes, I must admit, without socks. Those days were warmer and with feet sweating, they slipped a bit inside the shoe. Now, that the temps are cooler, I've added socks, how sweet are they? Beyond sweet! I have worn them 3 to 4 days in a row, 14 hour days, and my feet love them! By the way, I have plantar fasciitis that plagues me. My shoe selection is made very cautiously. Many of my shoes are Dansko, but I was looking for something a bit more stylish. These shoes have been just the ticket!

Darn I wish I had never met the Fiero by J-41! Because I want these Kyotos. Because I am a platform and heel fiend. But its hard for it to win against the cushy soft cozy Fiero I cant seem to take off. The Kyoto has great cushioning too and I love the look on these. They are a little unstable for really moving. So they really have a different function ..good work shoe. I really need to be in the market for a pair of totally sensible shoes that my Chiropractor will congratulate me for buying. If I had more money and a larger shoe garage I'd get these too. These definitely run a good half size smaller and also much smaller than the J-41 Fiero in the same size.

I really like this shoe quality and stlye. only problem is this shoe does run small, I normaly wear a 7 1/2 to 8 and ordered the 8, sending it back to try the 8 1/2.

Unlike others, I found these shoes to fit a tad larger than the size indicated. I did try half a size down, but that was too tight. So, I am going to stick with the one that fits a bit larger and wear them with socks for pants. They are very comfortable! For what it is worth, I have wide-ish feet and a high instep. The adjustable (Velcro) strap made them perfect! That are nice and cushiony, too! You get the height without sacrificing comfort. I have received lots of compliments!

I have disc and soft tissue damage in my neck and back and plantar fasciitis so constantly struggle with finding functional shoes for my work attire. These shoes work. Neck and back friendly, as well as, keeping my PF from acting up.

I love the J-41 Kyoto. I wanted a pair of comfortable MJ's that had both a heel and some style...the Kyoto's hit the trifecta. They look equally cute with a pair of jeans or a casual skirt and tights. They are super comfortable. Just for reference, I have a medium width foot and a normal to high arch. I highly recommend these shoes!

Great pick! Needed a comfy shoe to wear with dress pants that had a high heel. So glad I picked these. They are very comfy and look great with dress pants and jeans.

These shoes are so on-trend, funky and fashionable that I thought they surely couldn't be comfortable, but they were, and are! They have a decent heel, but I never feel like me toes are pushing into the end of the shoe. They are cushy, and the Velcro strap helps you get a custom fit. Even after wearing them all day my feet do not hurt, which is a miracle with me and heels. I get lots of compliments on them and, best of all, they are vegan (not made with any animal byproducts). Hooray!

Wow! Wow, and yep … Love 'em! Great fit, true to size. (I have a wide foot so these felt true to a regular, not a narrow "B" width.)

I have bunions on my feet, so I really struggle to find shoes that did not apply pressure on that area. I also have planter fasciitis thanks to my high arches. Finding a good, cute, reasonably priced pair of dress or casual dress shows is nearly impossible! However, these are amazing! The rubber sole absorbs any friction from walking on hard surfaces, they are nice and wide without being too wide, and they are very comfortable. My co-workers are wanting to order them too, and I am thinking of getting the black ones too! I got the tobacco and teal ones! Love them. I do usually wear a 6.5, but I got a 7 in these and they fit perfectly. Highly recommended.

Love this shoe! So cute and relatively comfortable (as long as you don't have to just stand for long periods of time). Have had other J-41s and they wear well. Would definitely recommend!

I'm a big fan of J-41. When I saw this model I ordered it immediately. :) Wonderful shoes, very comfortable and stylish. I read in several reviews that this model runs smaller than marked, so I bought half size bigger. It wasn't a right decision. I think it's true to size. But I kept mine anyway, cause I'm planning to wear it during cold time, so with wool socks it's perfect. :)

Love this brand! Comfortable shoe right from the start. I did notice it runs a bit larger, so I do have to wear thicker socks or adjust the straps as tight as possible. I like the height and the nice blue stitching detail. Have gotten several compliments.

Very comfortable and stylish shoe. I am a fan of Dansko and Jhambu shoes and these compare in comfort and design.

A nice shoe for walking. I spent a year waiting for my size to be available after discovering this shoe last year at a DSW store in LA. I live in PA. Zappos came through! I created an "alert" with my size/color request, and as soon as it was available, I ordered them. I wore them to an interview, in LA, fingers crossed!

Love these J41s! I own 2. They are excellent for in the office and on the field. They hold their look through thick & thin. I cannot say enough about these shoes! I own 2 pairs.

This is extremely comfortable. It is also dressy & cute. This shoe has a little height, but can go all day. I was a little worried about how the Velcro would hold up, but it stays on very well. I have high arches and a wide-ish foot. These work for me very, very well. I have had for almost a year. They look brand new. Great, go-to shoe!

Cute with "skinny"pants or black tights and dresses. The pair I got are black, I guess the colors very. On my feet 8 hours a day and feeling good in this shoe. I went down a size and I pull the Velcro over as far as possible for a good fit.

I love these shoes. Bought them while attending a conference and stood in them all day long, and they were still comfortable at the end of the day. They are great walking shoes. They run slightly larger, but I wear socks with pants and they are fine, and with the Velcro strap, I can tighten them when wearing tights. I have the black ones, but they do look more grey than black. I have gotten tons of compliments on them.

These shoes are so wonderful (I have in both colors) that I am buying another black-gray pair so that I can "trash" the ones I have on an upcoming trip to Paris. These are more comfortable than any walking shoe I own. I have had 2 surgeries on my left door so have high standards for comfort, and these shoes are the ticket. I'm an 8.5M and these are true to size. Super cute, too, and I get lots of compliments.

Really like this shoe! I did have to go a half size larger than normal though. Comfortable footbed.

Loved these shoes. I take a 7 to 7 1/2 and ordered the 7 1/2. Fit great. Problem was the right strap hit just at the ankle bone and kept rubbing it. Had to return the shoes.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I am short and these have a small lift/heel to them so they are perfect to give that added height so I do not have to hem all my pants. Can wear at work all day and still feel great!
