I'd like to follow up on my initial review from October. Let me say this again - these shoes are freaking incredible. I have a thin foot, size 8.5, normal/average width, and a high arch. Walking Company instructed me to buy a full size larger and I still strongly agree. That's just simply how they work. If you walk and your toe touches the inside of the shoe, then go larger until you no longer feel the insides of the shoe with your foot. They are heavy and loud. If you're the bashful/shy type, then forget about buying these. I work 9-15 hour days in a banquet hall. I know hard work. Nine months later they look like I just pulled them from the box. I take care of them - have heated them and applied wax twice. I think Dansko has a shoe type for every foot so just take your time and try one style at a time until you find the perfect fit! Was lucky enough on my first pair!

This is an attractive clog that fits more snugly than the professional. I have a very high instep and this shoe works for me, but just barely. Dansko seems to have changed their sizing. The shoe feels narrower than earlier Dansko clogs I have had. This means I am having to actually "break them in," which is to say, they are maybe a bit too narrow in the heel and across the toe and I need to stretch them out a bit. People with wide feet might want to try the next size up.

This pair of Danskos fits like their traditional clogs with the addition of room for my relatively high instep (the professional line does not fit me comfortably). These shoes were instantly comfortable and gave the wonderful support and ability to wear all day and evening. My size 8, slightly wide feet love size 39 in Dansko shoes and this was no exception.

This is the second pair that I have worn and they are great. I stand and walk for 8 hours a day at work and these are very comfortable shoes to do that in.

This shoe is very true to size and fit. I have worn many "support shoes" and have found this is the best fit, style, support so far. MBT fell out of style, so I tried what my shoe store called their replacement, Dansko. These are much better than I could imagine and for half the price of the MBT. My new first and only brand: Dansko. Even my foot doctor wears this shoe, that meant I must have a great shoe if she, the doctor, wears them. How much better could that be?

I always purchase Dansko footwear for my feet. I am on my feet for many hours in a kitchen and I have found that Dansko shoes give my feet the support they need. The Tatum especially have an extra cushion on the insole that feel extra comfortable. So I am very pleased with the Tatum style, comfort and support.

When I got my first hospitality job, just a few months ago, at a luxury hotel I initially got a pair of Walking Cradle loafers - the first night my feet were obliterated. Next day my Mom took me shopping and I spent an entire day placing sneakers on hold around the mall to compare. Long story short at my very last stop of the day a salesman talked me into these. I thought it was a complete joke and could not figure out how these Tatums would be better than a pair of Nikes. Now I swear by these things. Don't understand how I've survived all my dumb part time jobs without these. Walking Company takes a profile of your foot so I found the perfect pair and they happened to be the Tatums. The arch feels great but they're pretty loud - most of my coworkers know when it's me walking down the hallway. Very durable and I've dropped so much heavy stuff on my feet these shoes might as well be considered steel-toed (they are not). They are also supposed to "not fit". It's intentional your foot is just housed inside the shoe, not touching any of the inside. Anyways, get these.

I have at least 2 other pairs of Dansko clogs, so I felt comfortable ordering these. These feel much narrower than my others (all are regular width) and tighter on top of my arch area, so less comfortable. Also, the "slip resistance" is nowhere as good as it is on my regular Dansko Professionals. I work in and out of commercial kitchens, so slip resistance is extremely important. Overall: okay, but not my favorite.

The new XP arch was too high for me. I have to return them. I wish they made the Tatum with the regular arch also, then I would get it.

I bought these shoes based on customer reviews that said they were great for people who are on their feet all day. That has not proven to be true for me. I like these shoes, but the inside is very hard and my heels get sore by the end of the day. Also, the height of the side of the shoe is to tall and hits my ankle bone. I have a permanent callous there. If I had worn them more indoors, I probably would have returned them, but after wearing them around the house for a couple hours I decided to wear them outside. Only after a few hours at work did I discover they were not a great fit for my needs. The quality of the shoe is good and the sole is non-slip, even in the winter.

As all Danskos that I own, they are comfortable and stylish. Unfortunately, when I wore them to work, these things squeak when I walked. People could hear me coming down the hall. Very embarrassing and disappointed. I'm going to exchange them for a different leather. Otherwise, I'd never wear them.

I ordered these shoes in a 38 (7.5-8) first because I am usually a size 8. These were too small, so I ordered the next size up 39 (8.5-9). Needless to say, these were too big and slipped of my feet. I have returned both pairs sadly as I was told great things about this brand. The other thing I wanted to note is that these shoes seemed particularly heavy, so if you like a lighter feel to your shoes, these are not for you. I loved the style, but that is about it.

When I initially put these on they felt like the offered decent support, but in about 15 minutes they started to feel like a vice. I felt like my feet were getting crushed by this shoe. I'm horribly disappointed. I bought these because I was looking for a comfortable, supportive, stylish shoe for work and because Dansko was recommended by a co-worker and several friends, but they didn't work out for me. The search goes on!

Very comfortable, but the leather does not hold up well at all. Within one week of wearing them around the house and for running errands, they looked like I'd been wearing them for the past year doing chores around a farm.
