These shoes are extremely cool looking and were good to my feet for about the first two matches that I played in them before going straight downhill. I had never had foot or ankle problems until I played consistently in these shoes for a few weeks. I found that they had extremely poor lateral ankle support and I suffered a really deep bruise in my heel from coming down a little bit hard on a play at the net. I would not recommend these shoes if you play any serious volleyball as your feet will not hold up!

These are great court shoes. I play competitive squash in these.

For the price these are pretty good court shoes. I use them for squash so they take a beating but hold up a good 6 months playing 3-4 times a week. Never any blisters and the support doesn't break down too bad. This is my 2nd pair and I plan on coming back for more when needed.

I play competitive racquetball and a friend recommended these sneakers. I also have mild case of flat feet. The first time I played with the new shoes I did experience some discomfort, however, after break-in period, I'm quite satisfied.

Best outdoor handball sneaker out there. Excellent grip, light-weight and durable. Your feet will love you!

I play racquetball about 4 times a week and really enjoy these shoes. My other pair of gel rockets lasted 4 or 5 years. For me a full size larger than I normally wear seemed to give the best fit.

This shoes are hreat! My husband and I teach fitness classes that require jumping and agility movements. These are light and stabilizing at the same time.

My 13-year old son researched the best shoe for squash and came up with these. We ordered them, they arrived the next day, and he tells me that he has the best shoes of any kid on his squash team. They are very cushiony and he is the only one who does not complain of sore feet after playing hard for an hour. I would highly recommend these!

I play squash in these. I have wide feet and normally can't wear anything in D width, but since these have a kind of wide, flat footbed I can wear them. I sized up one full size and they're wide enough and the right length (normally wear 10.5 EE and bought an 11.5 D in these). I recommend ordering two and sending one back to make sure you get the right size. Comfy and very grippy on the court. Excellent shoes!

Very comfortable fit right out of the box. Toe is a bit pointed, and that's how I like it. The shoes are lightweight, and fit great. I'll be ordering another pair (in white) shortly.

They don't turn you into a rocket, but they are great volleyball shoes, and the only ones I will buy until real rocket shoes are on the market.

It's been very tough to find a good racquetball shoe...but this one definitely fills the bill. Although the shiny silver on these shoes in real life was a little "glitzier" than I like, the shoes are great. I was a little concerned however when I started putting them on. It was a little tough. I thought I'd gotten the wrong side. But once on and laced up, they fit perfect! I wear them for racquetball, and the gum grip on the floor is super. No more slipping around! Great shoe. Great purchasing experience. Will definitely come back again!

Played volleyball in high school with these and loved them. The break in time is short and the durability of this shoe is great. Only downside was the grip, was a little bit supbar, but other than that these are the comfiest athletic shoes out.

I play advanced-level indoor badminton, and have never worn a better shoe. Yes, it is THAT GOOD! They have lasted me about 6 months, which is excellent, and the grip is tremendous. I'm ordering my second pair today!

I was worried about ordering shoes on line and only ordered this particular make because they were able to try on the Asics at another store and also that the store did not carry size 14's. I am glad that Zappos carries larger sizes. Between the ordering and timely delivery and getting a very nice shoe, I am thrilled it worked out. My husband is a size 15 and instead of trugging from store to store we will be ordering his shoes from here now.

For my first volleyball shoe it is truly a great one. The support is great and they can last me three hours without pain. This is a great shoe to buy and I would recommend it to anyone. It is well worth the money

In need of additional cushioning and support, I turned to earlier models of the Asics Rocket years ago as an alternative to traditional fencing shoes. The Rocket 6 continues the tradition and also draws compliments for its snazzy yellow laces and trim. The outsole provides a wide, grippy platform for providing excellent traction on a variety of surfaces, including metal. The midsole and heel, while providing superior cushioning and support, retain the "close to the ground" feel found in traditional fencing shoes. Finally, the exterior is quite durable and withstands scuffing quite well, an important feature given how many fencers (including me) turn their back foot when lunging. On top of everything else, the Rocket 6 is much less expensive than most traditional fencing shoes.

This an excellent volleyball shoe and very confortable. I play 3-4 days a week at senior center. I have been wearing Asics volleyball shoes for years. The only issue I have is the cloth behind the heal wears out before the shoe.

These shoes are excellent! Shoes are hard to fit on me, much less from the internet!

I play volleyball for many years. Asics are my standby shoes. Durable, grippy, good fit. These are no exception. I have had older versions of the Gel Rocket and they were great. Really improved my game with that much control. Not a ton of padding but the trade off is quick predictable response. If the shoe fits.

Great shoes. I bought the exact size I normally wear (size 12) and they fit perfect. I didn't size up or down or worry about width. Just bought them and they are great. Comfortable and the traction is great. I normally play in a gym that doesn't get cleaned as much as it should and I barely ever have to clean the bottoms of my shoes. Worth every penny.

Not much arch support in these, but pretty comfy right out of the box. The coloring on the back of the shoe is silver. It looks more white in the pictures, but still like them.

I bought this shoe a few weeks ago for playing table tennis, and have used them ever since. Overall good court shoe. Has excellent grip on wood floors; not so great on synthetic floors. Aeration is 4 out 5 stars. Would have liked more aeration, as the mesh is covered on the inside with padding. However, that padding absorbs sweat quite well. And as compared to my old Nike tennis shoes, my foot stays cooler. 1/2 the reason I bought these shoes was because of the aeration, so I was happy. There's no real arch support and not much cushion, which I learned I need as I jump around laterally in very aggressive play. So I took out the shoe inserts and put inserts of my own. With those new inserts, and a little "breaking in" as the shoes and inserts conformed to my feet, this is a very good shoe. The style is also nice. Width is good. Also gives foot lots of stability, as it's kind of stiff except at the ball of the foot where it flexes somewhat. Shock absorption at the heel is not great, as it's kind of hard. But I don't use these all day, and that hardness is needed on the court. If too soft, then quick movements wouldn't be possible. And after playing for 3-4 hours, I don't feel any heel pain and very little foot discomfort, as opposed to the Nike's, with which I felt lots of pain. Interestingly, my foot calluses aren't as thick with the Asics, so that shows that these Asics are well-designed for extreme shock. I purposely bought a half size larger than I would've, anticipating using my own shoe inserts. (My foot size is 9 for most sandals, but I ordered a 10, as I tried on size 9 at a store and it was much too small. 9.5 would've been perfect, but wouldn't have allowed me to use my own inserts. Hence, I ordered size 10, a 1/2 larger.) Price was more than another online shoe retailer, but I've done business with Zappos before and know they're good with customer service. (Last year they refunded me for shoes even though they didn't have to.) I'll definitely keep these shoes.
