I got to test this bag out recently while traveling for 3 weeks in Europe. I got it in the Jungle Green. It is green but a very neutral shade so it goes with everything. I really like it. It is comfortable as it sits cross body and the side next to you is flat. This way your hands are free. If ever I was in a crowd, I would use one hand to hold the bag snug against me for extra measure. Because it sits cross body it is never too heavy to carry. It has 2 side pockets for a water bottle & an umbrella which came in handy. The inside was spacious enough to hold all necessities. I used the front pocket for wallet, passport, etc. as it has the security clip and a flap to cover it. I kept the larger pocket unlocked and put in travel book, camera, rain jacket, glasses, etc. for easy access. Based on the online pictures I was afraid it would be too big but it is just the right size. I had also purchased the Pacsafe: MetroSafe 100 Hip & Shoulder Bag to compare. It was too small and I found it difficult to open the top wide enough to get inside of it, so I returned it. The only negative and it is a big one is the small handle at the top. The threads they used stick out in some places and catch on your clothing when you wear it cross body. I wrapped a ribbon around it so it would not destroy my clothes. I bought the same bag for my mother and it had the same defect. If they could only correct this, it would be perfect.

I purchased this bag as a last minute item for a trip to Europe. I liked the extra safety the flap provided for my passport, tickets, credit cards and cash, not to mention the holders for those items. The outside pockets worked well for sunglasses and a water bottle. Its safety features are wonderful. The long shoulder strap width made it comfortable to carry, unfortunately because of the strap's safety feature it pilled several of my shirts. The company would be wise to cover the shoulder strap with a non abrasive material. For this reason only I cannot give it a 5 rating.

This is a well constructed bag. The black bag has very nice silky interior of light green with white polka dots. That is not only a nice touch, but I can find things easily inside. The security devices work fine. It is lightweight and nicely sized for a petite woman like me. I will look for more items from this company due to its high quality construction and well thought out design.

Liked the size and outside water bottle/umbrella pockets. Didn't like how my clothes pilled by it rubbing against them. Strap was wide and a little uncomfortable, strap buckle hit right at my collar bone.

The bag itself looks fine. The zipper pull looks a little flimsy. It's fairly light weight, a little bulkier than I am use to. My chief concern is that I ordered this bag in midnight blue and the picture shown was not a true representation of the color the bag was. The picture looked similar to the pacific blue. I hesitated ordering it, but thought I would not have minded it being navy blue as the word description implied, midnight blue. Instead the bag is a muddy, murky navy gray blue. Ugly, but since this a last min. trip order, I will probably keep it. Very disappoint and a little bit deceptive in the representation of the actual products color. I just want others to be aware you are not getting the blue color in the picture or what the written color description implies. Also, I wish Zappos would use an item that comes in a lighter color, if the item comes in both black an say pacific blue, for their video demos instead of the black. It's easier to see what a product looks like on the screen when the item is lighter in color rather than black. Still love your great service, thanks.

This would be the perfect everyday & travel bag if it didn't destroy clothing. Was fantastic for a 3-week trip to Europe, stylish yet able to hold camera & equipment, umbrella, water bottle, money, passports. However, every article of clothing it touched has been badly pilled & pulled. It's not just the strap, but wherever the bag touched my waist/hip. If they would fix the abrasiveness issue, I would order multiple colors.

The purse is phenomenal as to color, style, size, & the fact that I was able to carry my big camera, filters & other stuff in it, as well as a small umbrella in the side pocket, and had money/passport/cash safely stowed in the zipped pocket under the flap w the RFID pocket, all safely & stylishly instead of carrying a backpack as we traveled through Europe. What has me upset is the fact that it has completely pilled & snagged every single piece of clothing wherever the bag & strap touched. I have been trying to figure a way to fix the problem so I can keep this useful purse, but think there's no hope.

I've had a lot of different travel bags and this one is definitely the best. Enough secure pockets for overseas travel supplies but not so many that you forget where things are. Lightweight & lays well as cross body. Love the side water bottle holder & opposite side also has holder so can balance bag. Not too big & not too small. Also light weight.

This bag was a huge lifesaver on my trip to Italy. At first I thought the strap may be too wide but after walking the cities the wider strap really paid off. I loved both sides have a snap pocket and each hold a 16oz bottle of water. To me the biggest perk is the safety latch on the inside pocket. I kept my cash and passport on me and felt protected with the security of the latch for extra protection. Many of my fellow travelers took notice and are planning to buy this bag.

Compact, well designed, lightweight. Most pleased. Two criticisms: a) khaki or tan a more versatile color (olive acceptable), and b) the snap securing the side pouch is useless. Constantly opens, feared I would lose my umbrella. A velcro closure would improve matters.

PacSafe is finally catering to those of us who love their products but need something that looks nicer than their usual nylon bags. Since I work in one of the top tourist destinations in the United States, I need PacSafe's safety features every day -- but I also need my bag to look professional and high quality. The Tweed Grey fabric with the brushed metal zipper pulls is nice enough to carry to work and out to a good restaurant without looking too casual, and doesn't make me look like a tourist who's only carrying that ugly nylon safety bag because I'm on a trip. Out of all the PacSafe bags available in the Tweed Grey at the time of my purchase, I chose this MetroSafe 200 because it could hold my iPad and its case, and offered the minimal amount of organization and access I require. (PacSafe really could stand to offer more pockets and organization for a lot of their bags.) This bag has exceeded my expectations: it looks as good as I'd hoped, it offers easy access to things I need quickly, it's comfortable to carry even when loaded, and it securely holds everything I need to carry on a regular basis. I still wish it were more beautiful and stylish, but since safety is more important to me than style it's a good compromise. It has quickly replaced all of my other bags as my daily handbag.

I have the older versions which seemed to have more pockets. This is nice to use as a camera bag or to hold a tablet, but really not too much more. Width wise it is pretty narrow and because of all the metal mesh, it will not stretch out much. If you are traveling, I would go with the next size up. However, you cannot go wrong with a Pacsafe product.

Bought this bag for a trip to Paris. I love it! It is large enough for everything I needed to carry and yet not too big or bulky. Very comfortable "across the body" strap and I felt much safer carrying my credit card, passport and money inside this bag.

First let me say that I love Zappos and I love Pacsafe products. That said, some of Pacsafe's products are too large for me as I'm a smaller stature woman and they just sort of 'overwhelm' me. So, when I ordered the Pacsafe MetroSafe 200 GII Anti-Theft Shoulder Bag, I was hoping it would work, but doubtful since everyone said it has so much space. When it came, I was amazed at the space and yet it stayed within an acceptable size for me. The color was a pale but deeper shade of green and will be okay with basically anything. I'm more than happy as we are going to Morocco and Spain soon and I've heard that it's especially needed there.

Wow, what a great little bag! Just returned from a river cruise in Europe; this bag was perfect - not too big and not too small. Inner and outer zippered pouches can be locked for security. Fabric wears well and it is water repellant. Nice neutral color went with everything. Bag is very lightweight, and my mini iPad fit perfectly inside.

Have not used it on a trip yet, but plan to shortly. Like the amount of space in the bag and the side pockets. At least I will feel a bit more secure while travelling.

I truly love this bag. I originally bought it a few years ago for traveling in sketchy areas. The security features gave me peace of mind. The zippers are all positioned to clip to the bag keeping the various compartments secure. The strap isn't so stiff as to be uncomfortable. I like the fact I can unclip the shoulder strap, loop it around my seat or table leg in public restaurants, and feel confident it wont be slipped away without my being aware of it. There are so many well designed spaces to hold all needed stuff. I have since used it daily for 2 years and it's showing a little wear on a lower corner. Other than that my black Metrosafe 200 still looks new. Nothing shabby here! Its a great product.

This is my second Metro 200 bag. I literally wore the first one out. I love this bag! I have traveled all over the world through all sorts of pickpockety areas without a care. While I did keep my eyes open, I have always felt secure carrying this bag. You can fit a small water bottle in the side pocket and a compact umbrella in the other. The under-flap pocket securely stores your passport and credit cards. I could also fit my rain jacket in the main compartment along with a guide book. I always wear it cross-body. My only negative comment would be that it is just a bit too small, but now they have the 250, which I just ordered!

I like this purse a lot, though sometimes the buckle cuts into my throat when I'm wearing it cross-body. Also, the side pockets are _not_ big enough for a water bottle, which is a serious inconvenience. But over all, I'd give it a solid B. (if it could actually accommodate a water bottle, it would get an A) I gave it a 4 on "style", because it made me grade that -- I honestly have no opinion on style!

I got this bag based on reviews for a months trip to asia. This bag was perfect. I had my passport and cash in the front pocket as well as a guidebook and pen. In the main pocket I had a small tsblet, my camera, sunglasses, scarf, and bug spray. The side pockets held my water and sun screen, and the back zip pocket tickets. This bag did 36 thousand miles of travel and did not disappoint. I may invest in a larger bag for the next leg of the trip to be able to carry more lenses for my slr, but only for that reason.

2 days before a planned trip to Paris I ordered the PacSafe MetroSafe. It came the next day and off I went confident that I was completely pickpocket safe . All the zipper closures of the multiple pockets hook closed with grommets and latches. In theory this is wonderful. But the spring latch that hooks on the strap and 2 zipper pulls became stuck making getting into my stuff an arduous task. Not until I got home and was able to spray it with some WD40 was I able to get it to work properly. The side pockets designed for a water bottle and umbrella were neither long enough nor wide enough for either. Other than that it was great and nor was I pick pocketed.

If you are replacing an older version of this bag as I am, keep in mind (what I consider disappointing) design changes. The new version seems a bit smaller, the slip pocket under the flap no longer exists, my phone does not fit in the small pocket, the tabs that hooked over the inside pockets are gone and the strap is attached with an awkward locking mechanism. I returned it and happily found an older version on eBay.

I searched around for a cross-body bag to carry my phone, two-way radio, master keys & notebook at work. This one meets my needs & the green is a neutral color that goes with most of what I wear. I'd give it 5 stars except that the zipper is rough in one spot and about an inch of the seam is pulling out. I should send it back & exchange it but don't know if I'll take the time.
