Absolutely LOVE these boots, after getting the correct size. In normal shoes (Vans, NB, Chacos, dress shoes) I wear a US Men's 10.5. The 10.5 (regular width) in these Timberland Pro Barstow were too big, so I used Zappo's excellent return policy and ordered a pair of size 10. Using the Zappos Android App's free shipping, the new boots arrived the very next day! The size 10 were also too big, so once again I returned them and ordered a US Men's 9.5 and they feel great (if not a tad large still). I know they will break in, but I don't like overly snug footwear, so I'm keeping the 9.5. If you need a ridiculously comfortable, heavy-duty wedge boot that works as well with khakis as it does with overalls, look no further.
I'd also recommend:

I have worn these boots for 13 months now and I can unequivocally say they are the most comfortable shoe/boot I have ever worn. I am an insurance adjuster and can work 16 hours days and my feet never hurt. I have been wearing custom foot orthotics for years and they fit easily into these boots. My foot pain problem stemmed from wearing roper style pull on work boots and the leading edge of the heel was so rigid it was like standing on a steel plate 1/4" wide all day. After 6 months, plantar fasciitis set in and both feet were hurting so much I could not mow my yard. I ordered six or seven styles of wedge soled boots from Zappos hoping the wedge sole coupled with the orthotics would eventually help to alleviate my pain. The Timberland Pro Barstow Wedge Soft Toe boot was by far the best fitting and feeling of all the boots. They are light weight, extremely comfortable, warm enough in the winter in the Midsouth and cool enough in our hot summers. The stitching has held up extremely well. They are as comfortable right out of the box as they are a year later with little to no break-in time. Thirteen months later, the soles are showing some wear but certainly not enough to need to replace them. The soles are not slick but they are not aggressive either, they do not hold mud, offer decent traction an can be cleaned off on a doormat very easily. This is a a Perfect boot in my eyes for everyday wear, I just hope Timberland does not change the design or craftsmanship as is normally seen when you find something that you really like with other companies. I bought these for my brother's birthday. He bought a vacation home at the river and does a lot of walking in the desert around his property doing improvements. When he took them out of the box, he kept saying how soft the leather was and how great they smelled. Reminded him of his high school baseball glove. My sister in law said they're so comfortable he wears them everywhere. Doesn't get better than that! Remember to go down one size as they run large.

I made my husband buy redwing boots and it was the worst mistake ever they are so heavy and made his feet hurt ,then we found the men's pro Timberland boots and these are the only ones he will buy. My husband walks about 6 miles everyday at work and then he heads off to his second job 3 times a week and he tells me that his boots are so light and comfortable he will never buy anything else. I also bought my son a pair and those are for riding his Harley .

I typically wear a 11, so naturally I ordered and 11. These were humongous! Every bit of 1 inch too large. I will re-order in a 9 1/2 or 10.

My pair is 6 months old now with very mild construction site use. Stitching is already coming apart in multiple spots. Very spongy inserts blew out within a month and had to be replaced with a sturdier pair. Not recommended for rough use, maybe warehouse work would be a better fit. And the little metal patch fell off.

I bought these boots over 3 years ago. I do drywall work full time 70+hrs a week. I use them daily all day. They have held up extremely well from all the mud, dust, water, you name it. Yes they are used and abused but not falling apart, no stitching coming loose, just normal wear after 3 years of use. I bought another pair for back up when they do finally quit on me and an additional pair for regular life stuff.

I love these boots. I deliver beer kegs in these daily. They have saved my toes from lots of dropped kegs and kept my ankles from getting twisted. They're comfy and hold up.

They felt good out of the box and only got better with wear. Wore them in all seasons, in rain and snow. Now I need a new pair but they don't seem to be available. Great boot!

Loved everything about these boots but I ordered a half size down, unfortunately they were too small so I had to return and order my usual size. Other than that I think these are really great for the price. #SWEEPSTAKES

I have worn these boots as a stylish/dress casual boot and as a hedge against cold weather and snow. They are a little heavy, in hand, but not noticeably so when on my feet. The only issue I have with them is that I slipped and feel when on ice and snow conditions while shoveling. Beyond that small issue, they have quickly become a go to pair of boots for me.

Needed a new pair of boots and a coworker recommended Timberland as an alternative to the Thorogood boots I usually wire. There was virtually no break in period, no hot spots that needed to be worked out. The alloy toe gives a much lighter boot compared to steel. These are the first wedge soled boots I've had, and while they make me a little nervous climbing ladders around the mill, the sole is extremely comfortable, even after twelve hours on my feet and the moc toe gives plenty room. Definitely recommend these, especially if you spend a lot of time on your feet on concrete. They stack up against most any of the more expensive options out there.

My husband loves these. He has a bad back and said these help correct his posture and take pressure off. I will buy from Timberland again!

These are the only boots my husband will wear for work. The only thing is the inside of the sole wears out fast

First off I'm a plumber . This boot is very comfortable, doesn't leave marks on tile floors . Leather Flexes pretty good . So far seems to be a better boot than the Danners I usually buy . I will definitely buy again

I have had two pair the past four years with everyday work use in all sorts of environments (hospitals, boiler rooms, rooftops, etc..). I run in the morning and am on my feet all day for work. I like my feet super comfortable. Usually change boots every 6 months. Not necessary once I found the Barstow. These are my work "slippers." While they are slightly heavy, it really doesn't make a difference. They are by far the best boot I have ever had.

I work around alot of water, concrete, and heat, and these have held up better then anyother brand. I have had these alittle over a year. I just ordered and received my new pair which i got in waterproof this time. But these things are like walking on clouds and i walk on concrete all day long and my feet don't swell or hurt like other brand shoes do me after a couple hours of work. I will buy these as long as they make them. Thanks from the blue collar guys!

They are so comfortable. No break in period at all. Only cons are the insoles don't last as long as the boots, and after about a year the toe box on mine lose shape and irritate my toes. At this price, a pair a year is plenty acceptable. I'm on my 6th pair.

I've been purchasing the Barstow for years. I get a new pair each November or December. Safety Toe one year, Soft Toe the next year... and so on. I wear 'em every day, job-site to job-site, 12-14 hours a day. Occasionally I try another brand that you hear is one of the best workboots ever made. There's a bunch of those under my bed and barely used. Always go back to the Timberland Barstow after a few of strange... you know what I mean. I Timberland never changes the recipe. Not until after they bury me in 'em anyway. TIMBERLAND - 10.5 REGULAR!!! Please.
