I did some research before I bought these trail shoes, and I was happy to see that they got rave reviews from "Runners World," and now I know why. There are so many great features to love, and Zappos offers a super price for these Gel-Scouts. The style and color are a big plus on these shoes. I am loyal to the Asics Brand, and really do love the Asics Gel Nimbus line for road races. These Gel-Scouts feel very similar. There is lots of cushioning! They feel very supportive, but light! I love running, but am pretty new to trail running. I believe that these shoes will help me lead the way!

Comfortable shoes, but very shoddily made. I've been running for 25 years and have always worn Asics, because they are the only ones that fit. A pair used to last two years (I run daily over gnarly stuff, off trail). Then I noticed they were only lasting a year, then, more recently, 6 months. The last two pairs have lasted about 3 months. I'm talking full of holes and soles detaching. My runner daughter has had the same experience. Sadly, it seems that Asics has scrapped quality control for maximum profits.

I bought these sneakers right before vacation. I walked miles in these sneakers. They are comfortable, provided great support. They are also stylish and somehow made my size 10 feet look not so big.

I'm an avid walker, a power walker I like to think. Anyway, am a huge fan of Asics and really like the cushioning of the Kahanas, or whatever the trail shoe is called. I just didn't care for the colors available. At all. This one is true to size, very comfy and I've already logged many miles in them.

These are great trail running shoe. Up. Down. Wet. Dry. I wear pink Superfeet in mine for a little extra arch support. Thank you, Zappos, for awesome customer service.

Besides being the most comfortable shoe I've ever bought from Zappos, it's truly the best looking and most comfortable shoe I've ever bought in the Asics line. Took me 3 years of wearing Asics exclusively for fitness activities indoors and outdoors to conclude it'll be the only athletic shoe brand I'll ever buy. Still getting compliments whenever I wear them from gals and guys alike. High 5 to Asics for these from size 5, 5 foot tall me.

Excellent sneaker. I'm a mild over pronator but I suspect these would be good for moderate over pronators as well as they have great support. Extremely comfy. Extremely supportive. I'm not a daily runner...more like 3-4 times a week. Also I feel an enormous difference running in these as opposed to my Nikes. I have wanted to try Asics for a while now. And I'm glad I did. I'm hooked. I ordered another pair (Gel Kahuna) and tried them on but haven't run in them. They are also very comfy but these are actually more comfy for me. But I'm keeping those too. Also have gotten many compliments on these...even my trainer was like, "Hey! Nice sneaks! Where did you get those?"

I absolutely love these shoes! They are awesome for my daily gym workouts and walking the hills. Great support, look great on - I wear 6 1/2 and ordered a 7. Fits perfect. I love these so much, I'm going to order a 2nd pair.

These trail shoes are amazing. Put them on the first time and they were comfortable from the get go. I have always worn Asics tennis shoes and was very happy with their older model of the trail shoe, but this one surpasses the old model. Wish it came in more color choices; but either way I am very happy with this purchase. I did find that I had to order up a half size as I normally wear a 9 and I ended up getting the 9.5. I ordered both sizes at the same time so there was no delay in having the shoes for our trip. The free return shipping makes this a great way to shop. Thanks Zappos for your excellent customer service.

I love these shoes! Very comfortable. I wear them to the gym & pretty much when I do anything. Ill prob end up getting another pair in the future. :) I highly recommend these.

Best sneaker ever! I'm in health care and on my feet all day, these sneakers are amazing! I'm ordering another pair to have when these wear out.

Most comfortable trail shoes I have. And attractive too. I've had lots of compliments. The black color goes with everything. I highly recommend these shoes...at least for walking which is what I use them for. Great tread on bottom.

I work in a hospital and am on my feet for most of the 12 hour shift. These shoes are most comfortable, light weight yet great support. I have already recommended them to everyone who has asked me about them.

Speedy delivery. The shoes are very light weight while still giving me the support I need off paved trails.

I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. The shoe looks just like it does online, maybe better. I've been wearing ASICs for many years and have no complaints.

I needed a good shoe for working out that had plenty of support, stability, and traction. I tried many shoes before falling in love with these! They are great for trail running, but are also so comfortable I wear them whenever I workout in the gym or go on walks. I normally need an additional arch support insole in all my shoes, and was pleasantly surprised to find this pair fit my feet perfectly without the need for any additional support. The gel padding takes all the pain out of workouts that normally kill my feet. Love these!

This shoes are pefect for running trails. I like the little pocket so your shoelaces don't get tangled. Zappos is quick and easy. I ordered on a Sunday and they arrived on Tuesday.

I really like these shoes. I've been having a difficult time finding replacement trail running shoes and finally...shoes that work! They fit well, feel great on the trails and are light enough.

I tried these shoes on at a store today. They are so comfortable. And especially comfortable for trail shoes. As soon as I got home, I ordered these from Zappos. I actually exchanged them for the pink Kahanas as I found those shoes to be too tight (and too pink for my tastes). These Scouts are kind of odd looking but in a good way. They are different but without being obnoxious. As soon as I put them on I knew they were for me. I am a walker and I walk on both pavement and ground. Sometimes I just wear trail shoes on the pavement for extra stability. I visit our Zoo quite often and the tread of these shoes seem to grab the pavement and help me get up the hills. These are solid shoes, yet they are lightweight. I know this is a brand new model by Asics. Personally, I recommend them. But, as with all shoes, they might not be for everyone.

Only issue I had with these shoes is the fact that they're starting to rip. Right on the sides where the shoe bends when you walk - in line with my pinky toe. I've only had them for about 6 months, too. Granted, I wear them everyday to work (in an ER, so good amount of walking around). And I don't have a problem with buying a new pair, if it weren't for the fact that I must have gotten them on sale back in April, because now they're back up to full price. Not sure if I want to pay full-price for something that may or may not last me until next April.

I really like this shoe. I love Asics. This shoe is comfortable and has awesome traction. I've worn them probably a dozen times out on the trail and never had any problems until I wore them with light socks. (I was wearing them with thicker winter-type socks.) They slip on the heel and then toes get crunched going down hill. I've had probably 8 or so Asics shoes in the past and they've never been like this. These seem more flexible than shoes in the past which may be why the slip? I think a half size down would be too small so I'm going to try inserts. Other than that, the shoes are cute and there's minimal pink on them which I'm starting to believe is some sort of law that women's shoes have to include. As I mentioned above the traction is pretty awesome - the soles are really rugged and grip the ground well. They're also really breathable - I could actually feel the cool wind hit my feet which was nice but no moisture got in. So all in all, a pretty good shoe just wish it was a little snugger.

I wore these for the first time today. Eight hour work day. Did not think they were very cushioned. My heals usually hurt and they did in this shoes also.
