I had bought New Balance shoes locally before and wanted another pair, but couldn't find them in a wide size. I had used Zappos before and love the speed and free shipping both ways, so I decided to try this pair. These walking shoes are great! They cradle my narrow heel comfortably while giving my wide width toe area plenty of room. The only downside for my feet is they seem a little too long and a little too wide in the toe box. Comfortable arch and sole give me plenty of spring and balance in my step.

I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and this is my favorite shoe. The insole lifts up easily so I can easily insert my custom orthotics and the shoe still comes up far enough on my ankles. I have the black and the white.

These are without a doubt the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. I discovered them by accident. I had a credit with Zappos and I needed a pair of sneakers. I searched for a pair equivalent to my credit and choose the New Balance WW411. To my surprise not only did they fit perfectly, they looked great and are so comfortable I could wear them every day. I even wear them for exercising. Love 'em.

Really like the shoes. The first time I wore them we walked all over Santa Fe. The only thing I don't like about them is the tongue comes up to close to my ankle.

I've worn New Balance walking shoes for years and have always worn the same size. I was surprised that these shoes seemed so big on my feet, and when I held the sole up against my previous pair, these were a half inch longer! Much too big; I'm returning them and think I'll try another brand this time.

The shoe is much to narrow. I depend on New Balance for a wide shoe (D)with a generous toe box. This shoe did not fit well at all. I will try a EE if they make it.

I normally love New Balance shoes. For some reason these did not work for me. I felt like I had been on my feet for 24 hours after 10 hours.

I bought these to wear as nursing shoes. The white shoes just get too dirty too fast. I have worn New Balance Walking/Running shoes for years. What was different, for me, was that Zappos has a much better selection of styles and colors. I use custom orthotics for arch support. The included shoe linings are easily removed so I can use the orthotics.

Trying to find shoes that fit super narrow feet is a real adventure. New Balance does not have a slim, which I need, but their narrow works well with medium weight socks. Comfortable fit with room to wiggle toes. Wish it had been available in bone instead of white.

New Balance is best fitting sneaker for narrow feet. Also fits my orthotics. Very comfortable, yet look 'dressy' enough to wear with Dockers/casual wear

Great shoe for work/walking. I am on my feet most of the day for a 10 hour shift and my feet are great at the end of the day. Whether you are walking on a flat or hilly surface these shoes feel stable and no ankle turning with this shoe.

Been searching for comfortable black work shoes for some time. Tried some New Balance every day shoes and loved them but couldn't find any in black in the retail stores. While searching the Internet, I found Zappos had the biggest selection. I went for this style because it most closely resembled the shoes I already have. They have a nice open toe box and good support. I love them!

I love New Balance sneakers so much that my husband and the kids wear them as well. I have been wearing the WW811 for years and it was time to retire them. I looked for other New Balance sneakers that have the Last: SL-2 like my WW811 pair. I saw these and bought them in a 10W like my other pair and when I got them and put them on they are not nearly as wide as my WW811. There is no wiggle room for my toes. I will be sending these back and keep searching for sneakers.

I personally love Zappos and never had a complaint about anything but these shoes looked like they would work I wore them around the house and they were fine but then once I wore them to work the shoes are not right for me no arch support I got wide feet they were even wider and too big not comfortable now I can't return them because I wore them to work for a week so I ordered a different pair and this time Sketchers I hope they work after reading the reviews.

This has got to be the world's most comfortable shoe, especially if, like me, you have a narrow heel. The toe box is plenty wide, as well. Even the laces are first-rate: they're the round, thick type that allow the wearer to pull them snugly across the arch.

I've been wearing New Balance sneakers for years. These are as comfortable as every other pair of NB I have had.

My feet are wide and both my little toes have been broken; it has been impossible to find shoes that are comfortable. I have always bought another brand in wide and suffered until the leather has stretched. I put these on and found instant comfort.

I wear a 5.5W and it is impossible to buy shoes at a store. The last 4 pairs I got from Zappos. The latest pair is very comfortable - wore them to work today. Feet feel good!

Love these shoes! They're comfortable and will be perfect for walking around in Europe. They do not look huge on my long feet and the toe box is plenty wide. And I received them two days after ordering them with regular delivery!

Fantastic walking shoes. I was having foot problems. Pain in my outer ankle area and going up about 6 in. on the outside of my leg. I bought these tennis shoes and now the pain is gone! Fits my wide toe box perfectly. I love the quick service from Zappos.

These shoes were purchased for the gym; therefore I can't give them a multi-mile report, as I only generally do 2-3 miles on the treadmill or cross-trainer. They feel great, and do everything they are supposed to do: flex, support, and have plenty of room for my wide ball-of-foot/toe area.

I needed black Shoes for work thanks to new management being strict on dress code. I looked on many web sites and found these on Zappos for a great price! I got them the next day and was able to save my job. (Not sure if that's a good thing). Ha ha!

This shoe is true to size although it is a little loose on my narrow heel. I can walk without pain from my Morton's neuroma when wearing these shoes. Great for walking the dogs or wearing all day and did not require a "break in" period. I would buy another pair.
