I'm very happy with boot. I received it on Friday and left for Europe on Sunday, so I did not get a chance to break it in before I left. I had no issues with the shoe while walking around London, Paris and Amsterdam for 10 days. Plenty of support, the shoe is lightweight but very comfortable. Expensive but worth it. I own Ecco dress and golf shoes, and am pleased with all of them. One thing to think about. I normally wear a 10 or 10 1/2, but with Eccos the European size translates to a 9 or 9 1/2. It is consistent in all my Eccos but it is something to be aware of.

So, I have to say that I love this shoes. The support for the heel is unparalleled. I'm beginning to think there's some kind of secret technology in the heel, because it's certainly not the removable insert. Standing for hours on end now does not seem like a daunting task because I'm telling you, the cushion in the heel is just amazing. My only (minor) complaint about these shoes was that I had to snip just a very tiny sliver off the toe-end of the removable insert because it was pushing against the very far edge of the inside of the shoe and being pushed up, and thus pushing my toe up when I walked which was uncomfortable. However, after snipping that little sliver off it seems to have completely solved the problem. Otherwise, love 'em so far. They look VERY good, I wear them to work and actually whenever I can because they are just so stylish and then also relieves so much stress when walking from the extra-heel support. Oh, one other complaint that I forgot: support under the balls of the foot. Not so great. It's a much thinner sole so I can definitely feel the ground when I walk under the balls of my feet. So, if you have a problem with that then I may not recommend the shoe, unless you use an ortho-insert that provides you with more support in that front part of the bottom of your foot. Otherwise, love these shoes!

I own several shoes from Ecco, and they are all excellent shoes. These are no exception. These are the perfect fall/winter shoe due to the gortex insert and the chukka height. I have gotten several complements since receiving them. Highly recommended.

I bought these shoes for my husband. I liked the the overall look and the fact that they have Gore-tex. The color is a bit dull in reality, but they still look great. My husband loves them and he says they feel great. I would definitely recommend them.

Love these boots. They fit like a glove, are water resistant and look fly. Ecco makes great stuff that lasts longer than you'd expect.

Normally an 11 and I am really in between the 44 and 45. 45 with inserts makes it fine, plus in winter with heavier socks the 45 will be perfect. water and snow rolls right off so perfect coming out of the office on a snowy slushy day and not worrying about my shoes. Most I ever paid for a pair but I expect these will be my go to up scale casual shoes for fall and winter.

Feel great! I put my orthotic under the liner; feels good, and looks good. Similar low cut/shoes by Ecco slipped up/down on heal; the higher top is more comfortable for me.

I got four different pairs of boots for my boyfriend to choose from and these were the ones he picked. He has got wide feet and very low arches and is extremely picky about comfort, but he said they were very comfortable even on the first day of wear. No breaking in time needed.

My current favorite boot/shoe. I own 1 black, 1 brown and use for office and business travel. Very comfortable and look great. With a good shine on them, they work for dress shoes. Yet, when on travel, they're comfortable enough for lots of walking.

Love Ecco shoes and the Turn GTX does not disappoint. I have flat feet and need extra ankle support so when I was looking? for a stylish midsole shoe that is comfortable I turned to Ecco and Danskos. The Turn was one of the only shoes I could find that met all my criteria with solid build quality to boot.

Fantastic shoe. Lightweight and stylish enough to fit in anywhere. I wore these for two weeks straight traveling around rainy Italy in November. I never had wet feet and I never got tired of wearing them. Perfect travel shoe.

These are among the best shoes or boots I've ever owned. With fairly neutral but handsome styling, they can be dressed up or down, and they're extremely comfortable year round with the GoreTex lining. They held up to daily use for over three years before the outsoles finally started to split at the flex point. I've just ordered another pair.

Excellent boot and very comfortable right out of the box. Firm under foot, though supportative -- just the way I like them! Bought these for an upcoming trip to the UK and expect to put a lot of miles on them. Two things, though: one, the first time I wore them, the leather "bloomed" -- that is, took on a whitish, dusty, look. A quick buff with a soft cloth took care of that. Second, the brown color is definitely "chocolate" brown. Not a bad color, but I was hoping they'd be a redder brown. Finally, the leather seems a bit thin. Not bad, really, but I'll be comparing them to a similar pair of Clark's for longevity. Otherwise, highly recommend!

There was nothing wrong with theses boots... I had ordered 2 pairs and liked the other a bit better!

I bought these for my husband for a three day trip to Montreal. The temperature was in the low teens and we walked everywhere! My husband LOVES these--verrrrry unusual! Lug sole was sturdy on the mounds of ice in streets and sidewalks, soft leather that was comfortable, and the color was perfect. Two weeks later and these are still his favorite shoes/boots! I ordered these shoes for my husband. Ecco shoes are his favorite and these did not disappoint! They are perfect for everyday. Stylish, comfortable and since they are Ecco I'm sure they will last a long time. He said the first time he wore them to work he received many compliments.

Bought for my husband the day before our trip to NYC. He reports, "perfect fit, no break-in period. Walked 10 miles a day for 7 days in NYC the day after I bought them. Never a hot spot, blister, sore or regret. This is my third pair of Ecco boots. I'd buy again."

Great fit and comfort.

A nice looking casual chukka style boot that is actually even less bulky-looking than shown. They are lightweight and very comfortable straight out of the box. It felt only slightly larger for my size, not enough to go down another half size, but something to note. At first, the flat laces seemed out of place, but I quickly appreciated that they stay tied tightly throughout the day, unlike many rounded laces. While not wanting to try them out in the autumn rain on the first wear even if all seemed fine with the shoes, this kind of casual, in-town occasion was why I purchased this waterproof pair in the first place. I was not disappointed and am even more satisfied with the purchase.

Beautiful shoes but light in weight, I prefer a heavier, more substantial sole.

This is my second pair of Ecco Turn GTX boots. The others are about five years old, black, with squared toes. These are the best boots that I have ever owned. They are incredibly light, comfortable, waterproof and durable. I have worn them on dressy occasions and I have used them on a treadmill when I forgot my running shoes. What can I say? Ecco has footwear figured out. (Note: I find that they run large. I am normally a 9½, but the size 42 works better for me than the 43.)

Bought these for my son who is 14. Excellent investment. He lived them so much he asked for a second pair in a different colour.

To me this is the perfect shoe. I own 5 pairs. Two brown, one black, one green(?) and suede. I simply love them. I have worn out the suede ones and only wear them to work in the yard. If I find out Ecco is going to quit making these shoes, I will buy 1/2 dozen on the spot. I am in my late 60's and as far as I am concerned these are the only shoes I will wear the rest of my life. I am on my feet all day and if I make a mistake and wear another brand of shoe I can hardly walk at the end of the day. I have no such problem with my Ecco's. The best shoe made hands down.

Purchased for a 10 day trip to London. I already own a similar pair by Clarks, but I was worried about the ruining the Clarks in the rain. These are made with Gore-Tex. Leather is very fine quality. Comfort is beyond any shoe I have ever worn. easily dresses up or down.
