Comfortable & warm. I bought a large (typically wear a 12-14) & it fits great. Not warm enough for 30 degree temperatures of course but it has been pretty good (with a scarf) in the upper 40's to mid 50's weather we have had here lately. Very happy with this although I'm not sure why the sleeves are so long. Extra long sleeves seem to me to be the norm with North Face garments.

I ordered the premier purple one. Absolutely love the color! I ordered a medium according to the size chart for my measurements. Fits just a tiny bit big, but its perfect because I can layer it with a hoodie & it looks adorable! It is also very warm & cozy. I would highly recommend this jacket to everyone!

I bought this assuming that all Windwalls were/are the same but I was wrong. I miss the old style NF Windwall jacket. I have a green one that's lasted 8 years so far through countless washings and almost daily winter wearing and decided it was time to get one in black. But this new style has arms that are way too long and is not as flattering without the raglan style sleeves of the old design. Also, this one has a cheap cuff finish that's not even sewn on straight, while the old style had fleece wrapped elastic to keep out the cold. Lastly, the fleece does not seem to be of the same quality. I get compliments all the time on my "original" Windwall, it keeps me toasty warm in the office, and I'm devastated that I won't be able to find another one like it again unless it's used.

These jackets are not the same as the original windwall. Cheap finishing on very bulky sleeves and not true at all to the size they used to be. I have a medium in black which I still wear. Could not zip this medium. Ordered large and it was sooo big and the sleeves were awful. Too bad Northface appears to not be paying attention to detail as they have in the past.I am returning both medium and large.

I love my jacket. I initially wanted to buy the Apex, but am very satisfied with the WindWall. It's great for Spring weather, cool summer nights, and I'll be able to wear it into Fall. I am 5'7, 150lbs, chest is 38 and I ordered a large and it fits comfortably. I probably could have ordered a medium, but I didn't want it too tight.

I love the fit of this jacket. It is very warm and has the high-quality North Face material and attention to detail but it's not too bulky. Perfect for Spring and Fall (or under a shell in the winter).

I think this is a great jacket! Very soft, low pile fleece and windproof! I'm always cold & this keeps me warm when it's 40 degrees outside.

This is a wonderful jacket. I did have to order an XL but only because I like the extra room. The color is great and I received the larger size in less than 24 hours.

Love this jacket. Zappos has the best prices on NF gear and can't beat shipping! I ordered this on a Wednesday morning and it was at my porch Thursday afternoon.

I love this jacket. It is light and windproof and the quality is excellent. The material is not as comfortable as normal fleece but I don't mind wearing it inside if I am out somewhere and cold. I have the purple color - it was a lot brighter than it looks on my computer screen.

The jacket runs small so order a size up. I ordered it to wear to my sons track meets in the Spring. The coat is water proof but I still feel chill from the wind. Over all it is stylish and comfortable. Will buy another one someday.

This jacket is great except it fits snug so if you want to wear a sweater under it, I recommend ordering up a size.

Unbelievable!! North Face did have a fantastic piece of kit with the old Windmall jacket but this new one is just dreadful with its loose fitting flimsy cuffs which for an outdoor jacket are just so inappropriate . Bought one online and quickly returned it. Whoever made the stupid decision to chxnge such a winning design should be sacked!!

This jacket is so disappointing I don't get the good reviews. Maybe other people have different body proportions, but to me the proportions were atrocious. I got an XS and I normally wear 0-2 or XS in designer clothing. I'm not sure if you're supposed to wear this outside or inside your coat/other clothing, but the shoulders were so narrow that I could only fit a thermal or t-shirt under it. If I tried putting this on over a sweater the shoulders get a little uncomfortable. HOWEVER the arms were hideously huge, both width and length. The length I could deal with, it's not like too long, hits around my knuckles when standing, but I could probably tailor off an inch. The width is just hilarious. I could fit a puffer down coat under this thing if not for the narrow shoulders. You must have a young Schwarzenegger's arm or something, or weigh at least 180lbs at 5"4 to have arms this huge.
