This hand blender works great! I used to have to use a food processor for some of the food items and this works much better.

I bought this primarily to blend my super coffee (butter, coconut oil, and coffee). It's a mighty lil fella. Can't wait to use it for smoothies, soups, sauces, etc.

I bought this after I broke the glass container on my blender unit. I was surprised at the power this hand tool has. It does the job and then some. I find it so easy to clean afterwards. Just screw off the blade from the motor end and thats it. You also can get creative in the kitchen using this tool. Nice job Kitchenaid.

I purchased this based on a friend's recommendation as a mother, for future baby food use. My newborn hasn't needed this quite yet, but I've played around with this appliance and quite like it. I've used it on a few soups and smoothies. I even used it on hot milk and tried frothing (sort of worked). One small let-down is that I thought this hand blender would handle ice better. But if I'm making a smoothie with ice I'll just stick with my Ninja blender. Still I love the convenience of this, and the color is what really sold me.

My daughter gave this to me for my birthday and I love it. So easy to handle for smoothies and small receipes, don't have to take out large blender. Also easy to store. Great for seniors.

My previous hand blender simply quit working, so I found this one, and I am quite happy with it. I love that it twists apart for easy clean-up. I frequently use my blender to blend the ingredients for cream pie fillings. Considering that I sell a bunch of pies per year, this amounts to a bunch of blending!

I love my KitchenAid 2-Speed Hand Blander! Easy to use for many jobs. A breeze to clean. What a time saver not having to use a larger mixer.

This is one of the most useful kitchen appliances I have acquired. I purchased it for the purpose of blending thickener in beverages for an elderly person with swallowing issues. But I soon discovered it made scrambled eggs better than I have ever done with a hand whisk, as well as whipped potatoes and pureed soup. It's great, I use it multiple times every day and highly recommend it.

Love, love, love this immersion blender! It's high quality, easy to use, and easy to clean! It's the one little kitchen appliance I never knew I couldn't live without! I made the most amazing mushroom gravy with it over Thanksgiving! It pureed all of my sauteed veggies (carrot, onion, celery and TONS of mushrooms) super quick! A dash of white wine and a little bit of veggie stock was all I needed to add to the gravy. I use it making soups, as well. Once you start using it, you too will wonder HOW you ever prepared meals without it! Used it for Pumpkin French Toast this past weekend, too. I love it. I know I said that, but it's worth saying again. :)

This is a very good hand blender at a great price. The detachable blending wand makes it very easy to clean under running water or in the dishwasher. There is a more e powerful model that's a bit more expensive, but I think this one is adequate for most common kitchen tasks.

I love everything about Zappos. The service is the best anywhere. I love talking to the people that take orders and help you with everything. Whenever I'm buying anything I always check to see if Zappos sells it first. Anyway I digress...the 2-speed blender is perfect! I purchased it to make lotion and it is perfect! No more lumps from the cocoa butter.

I love my KitchenAid immersion blender. It takes the lumps out of my protein drink in just a few seconds. Cleans up easily and comes with a mixing jar.

I really give this kitchen tool a excellent review thanks Kitchen Aid for such a great kitchen tool.

I am very happy with my purchase. I use it all the time to pure my soups. I also use it for my salad dressings. I just wish I could've bought it in pistachio color to match my artisan stand mixer!

I find this easy to use for blending smoothies and also for making soups such as butternut squash or gazpacho. It is much user friendly than using a blender for soups.

It's great for pureeing sauces, soups, etc. For something heavier like a milkshake, it might have been faster to get the regular blender out. Love that it comes apart for cleaning and the part that pops off can be put into the dishwasher. It's not too heavy and has good balance.

I can't believe what a great deal this was on Zappos! We got this because a friend bought us a molecular gastronomy 'starter kit' that requires this device to blend the emulsifiers and gelatinizers, and Cooks Illustrated gave it the highest rating for immersion blenders. It is so easy to use! Out of the box, you don't have to read the instructions to put it together. Just click and twist and plug it in. Unlike some other blenders we reviewed, it doesn't shut off at 30 seconds, and the grip is very comfortable for me at 5'3", and my husband at 6'. It is heavy compared to the more popular Cuisinart model, but the motor is more powerful and the durability, according to reviews, is superior. There is a bigger price difference at full retail. On Zappos, there's a lot less difference, so unless weight or having a range of colors is your primary criteria, this is a tremendous value. We actually used it the first time to mince ground chicken for Japanese meatballs, because we couldn't fit it in our small food processor! It was messy to clean, but handled even that non-traditional use beautifully.

It works like it should but we've found that my mother's arthritis makes it hard to hold the button. It would be nice to have a softer button as well as a little protrusion of the button.

I received it as a Christmas present , and I only had occasion to use it once when making a soup recently. It worked extremely well pureeing the potatoes!.
