This is a great bag-easily wheeled and holds lots of clothes, etc. It is very lightweight, important for those of us who carry on. I did a lot of research when I wanted a new, lighter bag-and am so happy I chose this one. I bought it in black because of comments that the lighter colors show the dirt.

What a great little carry on bag! It looks pretty small, but it definitely holds a lot. I was looking for an carry on piece for a four day, three night wedding weekend trip and this absolutely was perfect. I was able to fit three pairs of shoes (two flats and one pair of heels) plus clothes for the wedding events and casual clothes for the day. Once I crammed all that stuff in there, it was still light and easy for me to hike up over my head and toss in the overhead bins! The material seems pretty tough and the bold color (I got the turquoise) is beautiful. This was my first carry-on with the four wheels, and let me tell you, I will never go back. I was flying through the airport at light speed! I would not hesitate to buy this again or other pieces from this line!

I purchased this piece to take on trips and to have something that I could handle easier than my previous carry on. It was much lighter, did go in all directions, very easy to maneuver and it did hold a large amount of items. I love it and I love the chocolate color. Great!

I love this bag. I frequently have to gate check carry ons, so they're exposed to the elements. This bag has held up to bad weather and rough handling. The four multidirectional wheels work really well. Beyond the performance, the bag looks really great. It also fits a surprisingly large amount of clothing.

LOVE the weight and portability of this case...traveled by bus train and plane through Europe and the four wheels and light weight feel of the bag made traveling much easier. The handle is padded which is very nice when loading in overhead storage. You can overstuff it also. The only thing I might say about it is that if you put a lot in the front pocket (inside) the bag sort of leans forward...but it never fell.

A winner! This was bought for a friend as a birthday gift. She has a bad back and has to very careful about weight. After reading other reviews, I purchased this bag. She took with her as a carry on piece and said it rolled like a dream. Color is elegant and unique too. Price point good and feedback superb all around. A nice way to travel; elegance and comfort. Could it get any better than that?

I recently used this carry on suitcase for a 5-day trip. It was absolutely amazing how much we stuffed into this suitcase because it is soft-sided and flexible. We packed 2 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of shorts, 5 T -shirts, 5 long sleeved shirts, 2 jackets, 7 pairs of underwear, a bathing suit, 7 pairs of socks, one pair of flats, slippers, and multiple chargers, and 2 books. It was very easy with the well-placed padded handles to load it into the overhead bin. It is an extremely lightweight suitcase and is also very stylish. The brown color is a deep shade and has a really pretty sheen to it. We will use this as our main bag for our 8 day trip coming up!

I love this bag. I agree with the other reviewers, do not let the size fool you. You can get a week's worth of clothes in this bag!

Took just this bag and the companion case as carry-ons for London, Rome, Athens, Santorini and Mykonos, all one trip, last September! The bag is rugged, and easy to maneuver. I never had to wait for luggage or felt as though I didn't have all the clothes I wanted/needed for these diverse places! So light and wonderful -- thank goodness I did my research and then bought this bag!

Love this bag! Small but because it's soft sided a person can pack a lot! I can fit twice as much stuff in this bag as I can my my other 22" carry-on that has hard sides. Thinking about investing in another Lipault bag a size bigger.

This carry-on and its matching computer backpack are all I needed for a month in France. It is roomy and held up well as checked luggage when I decided not to carry it on board. I bought the purple. The 4 - wheel feature is great.

This bag solves the annoying design problem of having a rigid opening flap with expandable pockets which I HATE: Use the pockets, and the bag will not fit into an overhead compartment. Instead this bag is mostly unstructured (on the top, front and sides), meaning it can be stuffed full, then conform to the space in the overhead compartment. And yes, there is a front pocket for books or passports if you need it, but it is unobtrusive. I was able to roll my backpack on top of it, though the extra weight made it slightly harder to maneuver. Without the bag on top, the bag handled like a dream. The mustard color is less richly orange, and more a cold orangey yellow (Yes, sort of mustard). This color will show dirt immediately: I am using it strictly as a carry on to minimize staining. This bag was exactly what I was looking for. A HUGE improvement over 2 wheeler rollers.

My wife had indicated for Xmas she would love to have a carry on bag made by the same French company from whom she purchased a book-it bag. The local dealer had only one color of 22" Lipault available. Zappos offered the full line, out of which I picked the blue. Within three days the bag had arrived. You can't beat the selection and the speed of delivery with Zappos!

Lightweight and surprisingly spacious for the size! I love the thick, comfy carry handles and the telescoping handle is super smooth. Having 4 wheels makes it really easy to maneuver down tight plane aisles.

I was skeptical that I could pack for a two-week trip to Italy and Greece using only this carry on, but I was pleasantly proved wrong. I joked with my friends that this was the clown car of carry on bags- I was blown away by how much I could actually fit in this piece. It helped that I traveled to warmer weather, so it was easier to pack lighter summer clothes. Mind you, I did do laundry halfway through the trip, mainly to give my jeans a good washing; if I had skipped this, though, I could have gotten away with only having to launder undergarments in the sink. But here is the list of items I was able to pack: 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of shorts, 3 maxi dresses, 4 t-shirts, 4 tank tops, 2 long-sleeved shirts, 1 cardigan, pajama pants, 6 pairs of underwear, 4 bras, 2 scarves, 1 pair of wedges, 1 pair of flats, 1 pair of flip-flops. I was also able to fit most toiletries (liquids in quart-size bag fit in the front sleeve of the luggage), two small bottles of vitamins, battery chargers, an A/C converter, a curling iron, and my iPad. The bag held up well, it is very light weight, and I love how easily it glided on its 4 wheels. The only sadness for me was somehow I managed to get scratches into the fabric on the front of the bag; the brown sheen is very pretty, so I was disappointed to see the blemishes on the bag's first run. All in all, it is an excellent piece of luggage, and I plan to add more from this line of Lipault bags to my collection for future travel.

Love it! Ideal for my 3 weeks journey to Kenya & S. Africa. The trip required I used soft luggage. Having no clue other than a duffel bag that fit this requirement; I was baffled. Fortunately, O mag provided a summer travelers favorite things and there spread on the page this ridiculously bright orange suitcase. I was opened...Lipault handled the Kenya's Safaris, red dirt, 1 propellers single engine plane & S. Africa rainy season with strength & style. The luggage color pops so picking my luggage out of many was effortless. When it was all done, Lipault folds with ease encasing each piece for a neat storage under the bed.

I've wanted this bag for quite some time and I am so happy with my purchase. I was tired of a two wheeled carry-on and dragging it through airports since I almost always fly with carry-on only. Never tipped, had the weekender bag on top of it. Great wheels, easy glide, little effort even with the bag full. The bag holds more that you think and fit so easily, no cramming in the overhead. The weekender fit nicely under the seat. One drawback was the the lack of a smaller recessed pocket on the outside where I was used to storing my toiletries for quick access in going through security. Had to put them in the weekender tote, otherwise the perfect duo for up to a week trip.

I have bought almost all of the sizes from Lipault. They are strong, lightweight, hold a lot and wheel with extreme ease. My favorite feature is that the telescoping handle allows for other Lipault bags to slide on top. Most Lipault suitcases have a sturdy fabric attachment on the back that is designed for other bags to slip right on top making it much easier to wheel more then one bag. I prefer the 4 wheel versus the 2 wheel for ease of walking down an airplane isle with the bag sideways.

I have only used it once, but I was very pleased with it on that trip. It was just a short 4 day trip but I was able to fit everything I needed plus all my 2 year old's clothes, diapers and blanket. It was a perfect bag for me as I was traveling with a 2 year old and a car seat by myself. So the small bag was easy to maneuver through the airport and it fit nicely in the overhead bin. Plus I loved the color. I didn't get it mixed up with anyone else's bag. I was surprised how small it looked, but I was then able to fit a lot more than I expected. I don't know if it would be good for a longer trip, but it worked well for my purposed. I gave it an overall 4 star rating, since I have only used it once.

This bag is beautiful. I would have given it 5 stars overall but it looks like one of the seams is coming loose. I will contact the manufacturer to see what can be done. I only used it once for one trip and noticed it when I got to the hotel room on the first leg of the trip. Aside from that Issue It's a great bag.

I bought this carry-on luggage after reading multiple reviews. It functioned very well for my week long trip to Germany and France packing clothes for 40 degree weather. It was easy to wheel around in train stations and airports. I'm very glad for the purchase and its great price. However, I wished it had more compartments for storage. To compensate, I used multiple packing bags, managing to fit 4 pairs of pants, 5 shirts, 3 sweaters, 3 t-shirts, 2 pairs of shoes (in the front pocket), 9 sets of undergarments, and some socks (I'm a petite female and rolled the clothes instead of folding). The luggage was packed to full capacity but everything fit.

I purchased the carry-on 4 wheel luggage after spending are a bit of time researching different styles. I travel every week and needed a lightweight piece of luggage that I could get through various airports without straining my back. The Lipault line is very light, weighs practically nothing by itself which is great for my needs. The inside of the luggage is open with plenty of space to load travel cubes, which I couldn't do with my other luggage. The only downside and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the "outside pocket" is really hard to get in and out of, so I find myself putting very little in there. It also protrudes into the internal space depending on what you put in the pocket - mostly because it is a soft sided piece. Overall, not a bad piece so far. I have been using it a month and it is holding up to the wear and strain of multiple bag handling at multiple airports.

Great suitcase, much lighter. Don't particularly care for outer pocket the way it's designed. Difficult to get to. Overall, pleased with purchase.
