A formal shoe with a bit of contemporary styling. The patent leather is offset by a matte leather saddle, which butches up the shoe a bit (rather than having a grosgrain band or bow). If you have a narrow foot, try a size smaller than regular, because the toe of the shoe is very long. Too bad the instep was too low and narrow for the shape of my feet.

Obviously they are shoes for a Tux and are so sharp in person. They should break in like all wooden soles leather shoes. Killer look!

First off, the pictures don’t do this shoe justice. I was having second thoughts about the shape of the toe before I made the purchased, but after getting them in hand, all doubts are gone. These shoes are a perfect and different formal shoe.

GORGEOUS tuxedo shoes. Totally worth it. Different textures indicate "I didn't rent these shoes." Husband says true to size.

I purchased these shoes to wear with a tuxedo but found value in the fact that they are not too formal to then be worn when only a suit is required. I wore the shoes before the wedding event to "break them in," but that was not necessary; the first time I word them they were more comfortable than almost any other shoe in my wardrobe. I have a low instep which created an excess of room in the shoe, but the extra room issue was easily alleviated. As for length and width they fit very much as expected (size 11). I wore my Magnannies for the first time with a medium grey birdseye suit, and they garnered several compliments. I would recommend them highly for their fine craftsmanship and attention to detail.

These shoes make quite a statement for any formal event! I purchased them for the Official Inaugural Ball in January 2013 and they are worth every penny. The style, fit, and design are impeccable. I have a high arch and they fit perfectly.

The shoes are awesome! Very comfortable and look amazing. Two issues to be aware of when purchasing: They run large, I had to size down a half size for them to fit properly. The laces are absolute garbage. They broke off before I could finish lacing up for the first time! A little disappointing that $350 shoes don't come with quality laces. Had to order replacements from, Amazon, hoping they will hold up better. All in all, the shoes are excellent! Just be sure to size down and have an extra pair of laces handy!
