This is a much better iron than my cheap previous one. Lots of steam. My only irritation is that it turns off while I am using it and then it leaks water. No, I do not iron for long durations nor leave it sitting while on. While it stays on I do not have any problem with it leaking, so I have learned to watch for when it turns off and I unplug for a few seconds then plug in again and all is well.

I really like the iron. This is a model below my old iron but the cord had a short in it. The iron actually has more steam than any iron I have ever had. It's a good iron and ZAPPOS beat everyones price on the net. If the cord lasts more than two years I will be definately happy with the iron. Water storage is not enough but easy to fill. I would purchase this iron again.

This iron is good quality, and a good value. It heats up quickly, has great steam power, and a pointed front for ironing in corners. It takes me so much less time to iron with this one. I've only been using it for a month but I love everything about it so far.

I love my Rowenta Focus Iron! I'm following the directions to the letter and have had no problems with leaking at all. Love the generous steam!

Did a lot or research on different irons. I am so glad I chose this iron. Gets hot extremely fast and keeps it's temperature. The iron doesn't continue to cycle and lose heat. Creates tons of steam. The weight is great. It is not too light where it doesn't press the clothes and it's not so heavy it is a pain to use. Filling up the water is easy and it's great that you don't have to use distilled water. The only thing to watch for is that it creates so much steam the floor beneath the ironing board got damp. Having a thicker ironing board pad helped solve this issue. Overall this iron rocks.

5 Stars. Burst of Steam lays down cargo pockets instantly. Precision tip slides right into the smallest places. Reservoir door is a tight seal. Love the color. Would recommend to everyone. And, Zappos - you are the best!

It's a day and night difference from even Rowenta's Made in China versions. The curved rear really does help and the steam is VERY evenly distributed through all the holes. Follow the instructions for storing and filling with steam switch off and empty the tank before stowing for longest life. Cord is a tad short, but otherwise it'll tackle anything and quickly.

I read the customer reviews on this product before I bought it and the one downside I found in the reviews was a complaint about it leaking water. The next price point was quite a bit above this product. So I decided to try it knowing I could return it free and get a refund from Zappos. So the first time I used the iron it leaked. The next time I used it I turned it off unplugged it an immediately took it to the sink and drained it. That solved the leaking problem. The heat and steam on the iron work quite well and it is easy to hold and use and the sharp point on the front helps with ironing detail. Personally I detest ironing but do my husband's work shirts so need an iron that functions well. Just watch for leaking.

It has been a pretty decent iron since I purchased it in August 2012 but recently it has started leaking - pretty badly and unexpectedly - the point I almost ruined my favorite dress the other day. I have been treating it with care, never dropped or anything. So I cannot use it and cannot return it either since it has been almost two years. Honestly, I expected more endurance from the German quality (the predecessor lasted for more than 10 years).

Previous reviews stated problems with iron dribbling water on garments. I made sure I bought a Rowenta, I carefully read and followed the instructions. Sure enough the iron leaked water on my clothes while ironing. I am returning it!

I am embarrassed to admit that I have owned three Rowenta irons: First leaking iron, OK; second leaking iron, really?!; Third leaking iron. I am an idiot/sucker! After a year water flows out of the base or any crevice in the housing. Leak is a dreadful understatement! The Titanic did not leak as much as a Rowenta. If you can afford to replace an expensive iron every year, this is a great iron. Otherwise, buy another brand.
