The iron Rowenta, is a vast improvement over other irons I have had. Zappos delivered quickly and the price was in line with others. Thank you.

I was grateful for the speed of delivery after the order. This iron is heavy, quick to heat up and a dream to iron with. Needle nose makes detail ironing easy. I love this iron. The brand is famous and I was pleased with the sale price.

Horrible iron. I've had it for about four months now. The auto steam control won't stay on steam, it slides to the off position. The heat element also doesn't have a constant heat. It seems to cool way down before heating up again. You have to re-iron areas that didn't get hot enough. Cheap iron. Don't waste your money!

Since I first heard about Zappos I became a big fan of their efforts to offer consumers competitive prices and excellent service. Now I am a customer as well as a big fan. I recently purchased a Rowenta DW2070 Iron after an exhaustive web and catalog search. Zappos offered pricing and service which couldn't be matched by my previous number one source,amazon.com. I love the service, which others have testified about, but more importantly I love our new iron. The Rowenta DW2070 was a Consumer Reports best buy and it has not disappointed us. The ease of maneuverability and wonderful performance will serve us for years to come. I really appreciate the design of this iron as it allows for better results on shirts and slacks (even my outdated pleated pants.) Thanks Zappos and Rowenta,I highly recommend your service and product to anyone looking for excellent service and quality products. (Parden me now while I begin a search for new shoes.)

My wife has gone through many many irons in our 50 odd years of marriage; This is the best one by far. I keep hearing, I love this iron! Ergonomically well balanced and at a good weight. She claims that she gets her ironing done much faster. Well worth the money!

Great little iron at 1/2 the cost of Amazon! Did an excellent job for a lightweight iron (former Rowenta professional bit the dust in a fall onto tile floor). Knew the 1 day business shipping might be compromised because of Christmas but it was at my house 2 days earlier than expected! Awesome!

Pros: light weight; excellent grip especially for people with RA; Lots of steam; sprayer is awesome and is aimed perfectly! Cons: The water tank is to small (but I am sure that this is one of the reasons the iron is so light.); it is difficult to see the water level because of the tinting in the tank; Auto off light is on while you are ironing. I have no idea why. The auto off seems to shut off frequently if you don't occasionally shake it hard. That may be why another reviewer thought it cooled off. It may be shutting off automatically. I love this iron and would recommend it to my friends. I have owned Rowenta Irons in the past and hated them but this is a keeper.

Pros: Very lightweight. Thin grip makes this an excellent iron for people with RA. Produces lots of steam! The manual sprayer is awesome. It is aimed perfectly so that where you point your iron is where the spray actually goes. (None of my previous irons sprayed where the iron was pointed - making the feature worthless.) Cons: Water tank is small and requires frequent refills. (This is one of the reasons the iron is so light weight. So it's a trade off. I would rather have to fill the water tank than have a heavier iron.) The tank is dark blue on this iron and that makes it very difficult to see the water level. The "Auto Off" light flashes when you are ironing sometimes. I think that indicates that the iron is heating. Documentation on how the iron works leaves a lot of things out. (Like the above point.)

Pretty good iron for the money. Produces a good amount of steam with is important to me, and not something I've managed to get with a cheaper iron.

Good iron for the price. I've had other Rowenta irons in the past, and there is a difference since they are now made in China. Seem not to be the same quality.

It's a nice iron, but water drips sometime that could leave spots on clothes. Not as good as the other Rowenta irons I've owner and it was recommended by Consumer Report as being #1.
I'd also recommend:
Purchase it at a local store and not on line. I still have the iron, because it would cost more to mail and return iron.
