I have owned several pairs of Vans slip-ons over the years. This pair did not have the ugly break-in period where my heels were covered in band-aids and blisters. They were completely comfortable from the second I took them out of the box. I would have given them five stars, but the tongue scrunches down really easily when you try to just slip these on instead of two-handing it.

They feel like you're walking on clouds! Flexibility wise, the material they use is way softer than other Vans. They don't even cut my heel when I go sockless. This is a chill shoe so not really for skating but you can totally longboard in them. Overall sick shoe!

I like the style of this shoe and it is easy to care for. If they get dirty you can throw them in the washer and they come out like new.

Got these to serve as a slightly more 'formal' alternative to flip flops. I am very happy with the style. They breathe well and are comfortable for short periods. If I do much walking, they quickly become uncomfortable under-foot.

My husband ordered these. He was trying to replace a pair of Sperrys. They were a little bulkier than the Sperrys and a little heavier. He decided to keep them because they were the closest match. He hasn't worn them yet.

Shoe was smaller than marked, but no problem since Zappos makes returns simple. It keeps me coming back.

The color on these as well as the fit are fantastic. I would say that these are much better than the sketchers version I ordered. The down side is that the rivets on mine have bent, and sometimes bite me (ouch) on the leg or outside of the shoe.

I buy Vans shoes more than any other brand of shoe, and I found that this particular style of shoe ran a lot bigger than the classic and authentic styles.

This pair of Vans are very shinny and I get lots of compliments on them. The bottom of the shoes give my feet really good support and I also feel very comfortable with the bottom. The size is a little bigger than it is marked but within a comfortable range. The only part customers have to pay attention to is to keep the shoes clean. They are shinny but easy to stain. They are nice shoes overall and recommendations to you guys!

The metal eye holder for the laces came out on the first wear. The back to it fell off and the front just flops around. This may cause a tear upon tying the shoes multiple times. Disappointed.

This is a really good shoe. I had almost every pair including the California edition. It's pretty comfy and it has a really unique style that stands out in front of most seen Vans.

Was looking for a boat/deck type shoe that I could wear comfortably without socks and have good looks as well. As I have other Vans shoes, decided to try these. Very comfortable and they fit great. Got 'em in Navy color and they look great too!

I ordered these shoes for my 17 y/o son. He loves the Vans brand and needed something other than sneaker for school. They fit true to size and have held up amazing. He has had them 4 months and they look brand new. They are his go to shoe.

I found that these also ran a bit big for me, so if you half-size down you'll get the perfect fit especially if you opt for wearing these without socks/wearing sock liners. I love that these are a little on the dressy/casual if you put the right outfit together! Worth buying for sure.

Zappos! A memorable name for me when I need shoes for my son. He loves this shoe-- Vans Zapato Del Barco --And all I had to do was type a brief description of the shoe that originally was purchased in a store years ago--And Voila! Zappos popped up with several similar choices including the original shoe my son wanted. I typed in my info and 2 days later, he's holding his shoes. Couldn't have been more perfect from search-to-wear! Thank you Zappos!!!

Perfect! I was looking for an all-black comfortable shoe I can wear to work (in a professional environment) to avoid having to wear "real" shoes. My friend likes them so much she wants a pair too.

I've always owned a pair of Vans Old Skool slip-ons and loved the comfort and look. These are just as comfortable. If you want the boat-shoe look, then these deliver. I'm stoked on the Vans version. I'm in my 30s but I'm not quite ready to forget my 20s. I know, sad attempt. The inside is all canvas, but very cushy. Vans don't have much arch support, but I'm not running a marathon or going hiking in these, so I'm good with it. Very comfortable. Previous reviews suggested I buy a half size smaller. I agree. I followed the suggestion and have a perfect fit.

Love 'em! Got 'em at a thrift shop and was startled to find Vans fit my super duper wide foot so well. I liked them for $2.50 and I still like them at this price. These shoes are a dream. They're my new go-to. The style is super cool. Dig it.

These shoes are awesome! I went from a pair of Vans Authentics to these and these are much more comfortable and they go well with nearly everything! I would highly recommend these to someone that needs a new pair of shoes although, it seems that these run a little big.
