These did not offer the maximum arch support that the Orthoheel active inserts offered. I could feel my feet over pronating in these shoes. If you only need moderate support, these may do the trick.

Be careful of sizing! I wear an 8.5 womens and ordered the Medium per Zappos' sizing information. When I received the product I found that the medium size actually started at size 9 for women and had to reorder a small. The small fit perfectly in my shoes. I've only had these for 2 days and am still getting used to them, but have had no knee pain while wearing the Orthaheel Oh Shock Absorbers. It took my feet at least 2 weeks to get used to my Orthaheel sandles last summer so I anticipate no problems getting used to these insoles.

These were very supportive right out of the box. They made it possible for me to wear a pair of sneakers I haven't been able to wear! They are a tad bit hard, not really "cushy".

The arch support is not as high as the summer thong sandals. I wish the arch was more supportive. They also have a very strong chemical odor coming out of the package. They need to be aired out before wearing. I would rate the arch support as medium.

I love Vionic shoes and sandals and was happy to see these shock absorbing insoles were available. I put them in one of the few pairs of shoes that I have that are not Vionic brand and they are so comfortable now. Score!

I have several pairs of Vionic insoles. Shock absorber, active and the Relief. The Oh Shock Absorber is my favorite. I hike a lot and I have used all three in my boots but these are my favorites. They have the most cushioning of them all and they do have an arch.

The Orthaheel shock absorber was a godsend to me! So very comfortable and fit in multiple pairs of shoes. I did have to cut them at the toe to fit my particular size, but that was easy. I've already bought more now that I know how good they are!

I have hypermobility and thus very flexible feet, so I've been having trouble with arch pain, heel pain, and ball of foot pain (sesamoiditis). My arches are pretty low and I have Morton's toe (short big toe, bulges a little to the side). In the hopes of avoiding $400 custom insoles, I ordered five pairs of orthotic inserts to compare at once. I specifically needed metatarsal support in addition to arch support and cushioning. Previously tried inserts included the green Superfeet (horribly hard on my arches), Powerstep original (okay, no cushioning in ball of foot), and Prothotics Motion Control (great in my hiking boots, too thick otherwise). -Vionic Orthaheel Oh Shock Absorber This insert had a moderately high arch -- okay, but a little high for me. Some support for the metatarsals but it comes in at a weird angle. -Vionic Orthaheel Dress Slim fit I chose this insert for a dress shoe, but the ball of foot pad conflicted with an existing pad in the dress shoes. Otherwise, good arch support and ball of foot cushioning. -Spenco Polysorb Crosstrainer (recommended by my Podiatrist) The heel cushion in these was so thick that I couldn't get my foot into the shoe securely--even in my tennis shoes, my heel was far too high in the shoe and kept sliding out, even with the laces tied tightly. -Spenco Total Support for Her I decided to go with these, but the pair that Zappos sent was dirty, as though someone had clearly worn them with filthy feet. Thankfully Zappos is exchanging, but this is kinda lame. I chose these because of the low, firm arch support and cushioning in the forefoot. There is a metatarsal pad, but it's not huge so I don't notice it. One question is whether it allows my big toe to flex enough during walking. When I make a conscious effort at it, it's better -- maybe have to break them in a little? -Aetrex Lynco Casual Women's 625 (from Amazon since Zappos doesn't carry this) The metatarsal support in these was so high that I felt like I was walking on an egg. Something about the material didn't give enough and was causing nerve pain in my arch.

I highly recommend these for anyone needing a little more cushion in their not so old sneakers or any type of shoes. I have 3 pairs of vionic sneakers that I bought a year ago, but only needed to really replace the inserts to get plenty more mileage of great sneakers other wise. I had pf and a bone spur in one of my heals so take extra good care of my feet, which these seem to be ideal for. I tried the other inserts by vionic and these are the best in my opinion. The nice thing is that they are easy to move around to different shoes as well.

These orthodics are narrow enough to fit in my shoes which is a pleasure. I cut them to match the removable inner sole in size. The arch support is very good and my feet never hurt with them.

I have heel spurs and high arches. These insoles are the best over the counter supports that I have found. Great heel cushion and arch support.

These aren't super "cushy" feeling, but they truly absorb shock and help with alignment. I have short, wide feet with a high arch and these work well for me. The major plus is that they're thin enough to fit in my Chuck Taylors and Adidas slip ons (which most insoles with arch support just won't do!) I've also had the half version of this insole, which I liked enough to come back and find this full version, but between the two though, I recommend this full length version

I have a few pairs of these + they do make a HUGE difference in support and cushion. More expensive that what you can buy in drug store but superior quality, they will last + keep cushion a long time!

I wanted an insole that provided arch support and cushioning, and these are just what I needed. They are very comfortable. I wear a size 8 shoe and the small insole was a perfect fit.

I have been using insoles and shoes from Vionic for a number of years for my problematic feet. These insoles give me a "softer landing". The arch support is not as firm as the "Oh Active" or the "Oh Relief". Nevertheless, good enough for me. Easy to trim if necessary. I recommend them.

These supports are the best. They are pricey but worth every penny! Switch out your own shoe lining. These supports are great lessen my plantar fasciitis discomfort. I am moving constantly at work and need support. This is the answer. I have paid big bucks to podiatry for foot molds and still these won out!

These are excellent! They provide great support! I have no arch, completely flat feet. I have tiny size 5 feet and I have to cut the ends of insoles in order for them to fit in my shoes. These are very convenient for cutting because there are pre-marked cut lines that you can follow. None of the other insoles from vionic has this feature (I also bought the active insole and an everyday insole). I would definitely buy more of these for the convenient cut lines and great support.

The Vionic with Orthaheel gives me a great improvement in foot comfort. I have peripheral neuropathy with a high degree of pain in my legs and feet. I have used nearly all available shoe inserts including custom made versions and nothing has equaled the Vionic Orthaheel in pain relief.

Fit perfect into my shoe with no adjustment needed. Support is better than any other product I have purchased elsewhere.

I love these inserts! I use them all the time in 'regular' shoes (sneakers, flats, boots) so that my plantar fasciitis does not act up when I'm not wearing my Orthaheel shoes. Also, my feet tend to sweat so the EcoFresh microbe protection is amazing.

These are slim and thin so I was concerned that they wouldn't be as effective as other orthaheel insoles. Boy was I wrong! These are great and don't affect the weight of sock you can wear, unlike thicker insoles. They are narrow so might not work so well for wide sizes.

I have relatively flat feet but still needed support when I bought my new boots. This definitely made it comfortable however they are a little thicker than other inserts so make sure you have a roomy toe box if you choose this set.

I frequently have foot pain, however, with these insoles I get hours more of pain free feet. They do run large though. I ordered what was recommended for my shoe size (8.5 or 9) and with trimming I was able to get them to fit my hiking shoes. The smaller size fit perfectly into my dress shoes.

I have bought these inserts for years now. They last a long time without breaking down and are very comfortable. I have a pair for about 5 of my shoes and gym shoes.
