Boot is comfortable. Look good with jeans and chino pants. Wore them for casual outings and parties. I traveled to Mexico City with these boots and wore them everywhere. They’re great. Walked up and down foothills with these boots.

These are a very low profile boot with a lighter but still durable sole. They're Docs, what can i say. You will not find a better price for the brand. Oiling the leather makes them look a bit more sleek. A Can't lose choice.

Round up your shoe size. Martens doesn't do 1/2's. I mistakenly went too small. Zappos was completely accommodating. At the right size these are like wearing nothing. Fantastic walking boot. Not for trekking in Nepal. Perfect for urban wilderness.

I bought a pair of these boots for my boy friend . They are a very nice looking boot and I love the texture. He has no complaints. They seem to fit to size and be comfortable.

Too narrow for feet considered wide (definitely.) The outer sides of my feet visibly hung off the base/shank/sole of the shoe and kinda bulged the leather, and a size higher would make too much room elsewhere. A really good shoe though!! Like if this fits you, it rocks. Seems really well constructed and definitely casual-formal. Stylish and versatile. I can't tell if the sharp feeling at the back of my left heel was just because of me, though.. didn't seem like it

I love these boots! Great looking with absolute comfort for strolling around in. They took a little bit to break in, but after a few days, they were perfect. Lots of compliments already! Thanks for zap's great CS!

These shoes are a blend of classic Dr Martens and Converse All Stars. They look great and are much lighter than the traditional DM 1460s. I like that they have no heel. The leather is hard and takes some time to wear in (as expected). The foot bed is awful. Replace it with some nice insoles and you are good to go.

I have never owned a Doc Martin product, but these caught my eye. When I opened the box and handled this boot, I was unimpressed with the overall quality of the materials. I planned on using this boot as an everyday light duty work boot, but I'm not sure it would last very long. Too bad, its a good looking boot!

These are great shoes. They broke in easily. The fit is perfect. They are like a hybrid between the Doc Martens 1460s and a pair of Chuck Taylors.

Shoes are great, delivery was super fast as per usual. Zappos is the bees knees!

Nice shoes and the leather a little softer that other Dr. Martens' shoes! I rather wear these shoes that the other ones. A lot easier to break them in. Great shoes!

I got these shoes for my husband. He absolutely loves them. They go great with everything!

I've been wearing and loving Doc Martens since I was in high school. However, I have worsening arthritis in my feet, ankles, knees and hips, and no matter how broken in my beloved 1460s were, they were just too heavy for me to wear anymore without pain. I had resigned myself to being "that person" who has to wear sneakers all the time. But I missed my Docs, both for the look and the practicality factor; some things you just can't do in sneakers. I'd seen similar versions of this boot in canvas, but for me that was really no more practical than a pair of Converse. But when I saw that it was available in leather I started to have a little hope. And I was not disappointed. The soles are light overall, and I don't feel like I've been walking in concrete shoes at the end of the day. The leather upper is the same durable tough leather that regular Docs are made of, so I feel like these are boots that will last and look better with age, just like my previous old faithful pair. The insoles that come with them leave a little to be desired (they are flimsy and don't seem to offer much cushion) but I took them out and popped in a pair of memory foam ones, and now my feet and ankles feel comfortable and supported. They seem to run a little small (I usually wear a 9 in mens, but this time I had to size up to a 10 to allow for replacing the insoles and wearing winter socks) and are a little more narrow feeling than Docs usually are. Or maybe that's just me. Because the leather is the same leather that regular Docs are made of, it's looking like there is going to be a similar break-in period (put on thick socks, lace them up tight, and suck it up till they soften up). Overall, I'm pleased with them, and happy to be able to wear boots that I love without pain. Thanks, Dr. Martens, for making this boot. You've warmed an aging Riot Grrl's heart!

I love these shoes. Comfortable like converse with the great look of a nice boot. They are really tough. I have had them for about 2 months and really abused them and they feel and look great. They look really cool once the leather gets a little scuffed. I think I am going to buy another pair in the canvas come winter time. I really love these boots.

I really like these boots a lot. I've been looking for a good pair of black boots for a while and these fit the bill. I like the narrow profile. They strike a good balance between formal and casual. I can wear these with black pants and a button-up, or jeans and a hoodie. The insole is soft and comfortable. The only place that feels a little constricted is up around the ankle, but it's minor. I can't speak to the durability because I've only worn them a couple of times but they feel pretty sturdy. Overall, great boot, great price.
