This brand is amazing! I've been looking for the perfect skinny jeans that won't stretch out in the butt. Hate it when I get saggy jeans by the end of the day. These definitely hold their shape all day! So flattering. I wish the rise wasn't quite as high. They are just mid rise but I'm used to low rise jeans but order these. You won't regret it. Maybe runs about a size small? If you're tall these won't work for you. They are ankle so they're shorter. Perfect for me because I'm 5'3 and wear heels daily. So cute.

These are so far the best fitting jeans, at least for me. They hug your body in a great way without making you looking like a stuffed sausage and they are very comfortable. I also want to mention that this particular style, Angel, is an ankle length. The model in the picture must be really short. I am an average height, 5'6", and the jeans hit right above my ankles.

I love everything about these jeans, they are awesome! They do turn your hands & leather seats blue from the dye, but they are worth it. I'll be buying more.

Finally found the perfect skinny jean! I've been looking for a dark wash skinny jean for my 5'2 petite curvy frame that don't stretch out, and these are the best! I love that the rise isn't super low so you are locked and loaded, and the pockets are the perfect size and placement for a curvier behind. Very flattering. Still a bit long, but are super cute rolled up or scrunchy. I'm usually a 6 and the 28 fit true to size. This is definitely my new favorite brand.

They are cute, length is nice, the wash was a nice and dark, and they are very stretchy. However, I ordered a 26, and they were huge on me. I had read reviews on this site and others which led me to believe that they ran small so I went with a 26 vs. 25. Mistake on my part. For reference, I am a 25 in Citizens, 25/26 in AG, and a 25 in Jbrabnd. As always, great Zappos service!

Eh. I was hoping for a flat dark blue or black even. These do have some distressing and not consistent color wash. The fit was nice, but wont work for everyone. I am 5'4, 120. I usually am b/t a 26 and 27. I got a 26. Fit tight in waist, and loose around calves. Nice everywhere else. They did hit right at my ankle. Going back though b/c not the color I wanted.

I bought these on a whim, right before a week long trip to Europe. I hate feeling like I need to bring five or six pairs of jeans on a trip because they all stretch out after a few hours, so I was intrigued by the claim that these don't stretch out as you wear them. They weren't kidding! These jeans look great, feel great, and best of all, they look just as good after four hours -- no saggy butt! I really recommend this brand and I'll be purchasing their jeans again. Love!

This is the best denim company ever. I own about 10 pairs! They never loose shape and are very comfortable. The color of this denim is very dark and has some sheen to it, which is great for evening. I am 5'1", 98 pounds and I wear a size 24.

I'm 5'3, 120lbs, and wear the size 27. These 'ankle' jeans sit right on top of my foot. Which I actually really like, they hit where regular straight/skinny jeans should hit me without me having to get them hemmed. The rise isn't low, but it doesn't look grandma high either. When you sit down they don't show your undies, let's put it that way. Great dark blue color, doesn't fade, and doesn't stretch out. I also have the Toni Cropped jeans in a 27 and they are def more snug! I prefer the Angel ankle as far as comfort goes. I'll only buy DL1961 from now on, love them!

These jeans are perfect for wearing under your boots that are narrow in the calf or shaft area. Order a size up. They do not stretch out and stay true to form. Great color and not too low in the waist.

These jeans are the best that I have ever bought! They fit like a glove, being petite they are the perfect length as well. I am about 5'1" 155 pounds and the 32 fit awesome, very slimming. They never sag or stretch out because the material always springs back. The only down side is the dye tends to run on lighter fabrics so you have to wash separately a few times. I am very happy with these jeans!

I love these jeans! If you have problems with the gap in the back near the waist with most jeans, you won't with these. I have an athletic but curvy build and these jeans work really well for me. I'm 5'4" and 135 lbs and the 28 fits perfect. I will probably be ordering more. These are worth the extra money.

These jeans fit well with good pocket placement. Got a lot of compliments on them. Make sure to wash before wearing as the dark wash will come off a bit.

After reading one of the reviews that said it ran huge, I ordered both a 27 and a 28 (I'm usually a 28 in all other brands) just to see the difference. They were not huge! In fact, even the 28 was quite snug. In my experience, these run true to size, if maybe even a bit smaller than normal. The ankle is indeed shorter than most skinny jeans, if you like that look.

I like these jeans reasonably well, but not as much as some of the other DL1961 jeans I've owned. I personally like the Amanda style better for comfort and style. The Angel Ankle do work well with boots, since they're ankle-length, but I'm not totally thrilled with the look of them with flats. They flare out at the bottom, which I don't personally like as much as a tighter fit at the bottom. These jeans are comfortable and fairly flattering, though I'd say they're fairly conservative looking.

Let me start by saying I loved these jeans. Past tense. I bought my first pair of DL1961 Angel skinny jeans in 2011. After three years of loving wear, careful cold washes and line drying, the denim started to break down and they'd stretch out as soon as I put them on. No big deal, as that eventually happens with stretchy denim. The overall one star rating is for the replacement pair I bought in April 2014. After about five washes, the denim started to break down. They're all but unwearable now, as they stretch out the minute I put them on. All I can think is that DL1961 has started cheaping out on the material. In summary, these jeans were (past tense since they're about to be tossed) a colossal waste of money.
