I have many pairs of Alegria shoes in my closet, and all are extremely comfortable on my troublesome feet...but not these. They felt rigid and awkward. They also were painful on my right foot bunion, which I found surprising, as none of the other styles bother it in the least. And the velcro on the left shoe didn't align properly with the velcro on the strap, so it was exposed when the shoe was on. Either my foot is crooked, or the shoe was!

Love the style and lower profile of the shoe but they changed the insole. Not as happy with that but I just use the insole out of my other Alegria shoes. Wish they had some more colors to choose from. Fit great.

The dark floral leather shoes do not look anything like the picture. They look like the Patina color without the silver top color. The shoes have only a tiny bit of black and the flowers are mostly white. There are no red flowers at all and the shoe is white pink and yellow. The first time I ordered I thought that it was a mistake. I called Zappos and the lady on the phone was really nice and assured me the shoes would look like the picture. I am so disappointed as it takes one day to get the shoes but a week and a half before they are returned. These were my birthday present from my mom. My birthday was 3 weeks ago :( Hopefully this review saves someone the bummer. I wish Zappos or Alegria would change the photo to what the shoe actually looks like.

I am a size 7.5 and when I first saw this for size 7 - 7.5, I just assumed they were going to run small enough to accommodate a size 7. Rather than have snug shoes I went for the 8-8.5. That was a mistake, I swam in them; so I returned them and got the 7-7.5, and I am much happier. The shoes are very comfortable, but if I am walking fast...I squeak. Not a good shoe if you want to sneak up on your coworkers. But if you want a shoe that makes a statement, is comfortable and you won't want to take off...get this shoe.

My first pair of Alegria shoes, and I'm delighted with how incredibly comfortable they are as well as being cute and well crafted.

In the photo the shoes appear to be a dark floral print overall. When they arrived they were quite light on one half and dark on the other. The second pair was not any better. The third pair was better yet still not as attractive as the photo. I kept them because I was too embarrassed to return them. The fit and comfort are good.

I really liked this shoe when I first got it, but after not even six months the hook and loop closure is not staying securely. Often through the day depending on how my foot moves the strap will come undone. Very frustrating to say the least; considering the price paid I would have expected longer life from these shoes. I don't even wear them everyday.

I have a difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable, so was quite excited to discover Alegrias last winter. I love the look of these clogs, and they fit my high arch and narrow heel perfectly. I am a teacher so am on my feet all day, and these are definitely my favorite pair of work shoes. I'll definitely buy more Alegrias. I wish this one came in more colors!

The Alegria Kaitlyn has been my everyday shoe for over a year now. I love them! The pattern is so cute and I get so many compliments. They are also surprisingly comfortable. They did take a little while to break in, but it is so worth it. The foot bed really does support my foot well. I have large feet (US size 10) and the size 40 was a perfect fit. My only problem is that the stitching has started coming undone on one shoe's strap. I may be able to fix it on my own, but I dare not cut it off yet. Feels like it won't fall apart, though. The pattern has started to fade some and has scuffed off some on the toe. But I do wear them everyday and sometimes camping, so this amount of wear and tear was expected.

Very comfortable. I have narrow feet and they fit fine even without socks. No breaking in was needed.

These shoes are the best shoes I have ever had! They are incredibly comfortable and supportive; however, I had one big problem. Two pairs of squeaky shoes and one year later my shoes are still squeaking! The squeak is so loud it is embarrassing. It isn't just a squeak, the whole entire sole squeaks. So loud that people stop and turn at me. So back they go. They never broke in. After two pairs and no success I really wonder if my feet will ever experience Alegria again? So sad. Does anyone else have loud shoes or do I have the bad luck?

These are great shoes. Although, they didn't work for me due to feet swelling. All around comfortable except for the opening at the top of the foot, where it was uncomfortable where my foot swelling is. Anyone without the same problem would love these shoes.

I really like these shoes. I usually wear a 39 in European size and 8.5-9 in USA. I got a 39 in these and they fit comfortably when I wore without socks, but when I put on a sock I felt slightly tight. They are super comfortable without socks and I usually never wear shoes without. I know they will give so this may not be an issue. They are nice and roomy in the toe area which is good for me since my foot is wide and I am used to wearing shoes like Birkenstock. I LOVE the flower pattern, but the pair sent to me had flesh colored flowers on the end of the toes that made me feel it looked like giant toes sticking out of my shoes. I am returning them and hopefully the next pair will look less like that. The velcro strap in great. My heel moves around when I walk in them even with socks, but for some reason it isn't bothering me like it does in other shoes- probably because the velcro can be adjusted to make your foot feel secure. Overall I really like the look of these and I like the sole as it feels "safe".

I'm really glad I ordered these shoes! Love the colors and pattern. They feel great, and the velcro strap makes shoes feel nice and secure. This makes 3 pairs of Alegria shoes for me, and I'm likely to buy more.

I work in the OR, so I'm on my feet most all day. I love these shoes! I highly recommend these for not only comfort, but style and color. I bought the black patina. I get many compliments on them.

I work retail. The first time I wore my shoes to workmy feet,back and knees were pain free.Thank you, for selling these wonderful shoes. I will be buying more in the near future.

Cute shoe that runs just a touch long and wide. Problem with the dark print - variations in the pattern made the shoes look like totally different colors. Couldn't decide if that worked or not, but, with Zappos' great return policy, I'll order the next size down and reevaluate!

These shoes are SUPER comfortable! I love Alegria's unique insole. I've always loved Birkenstock's cork footbed, but at times found it too hard for all day comfort. Now I have the best of both worlds! The hook and loop closure makes a great adjustable fit no matter what your width maybe.

I absolutely love these shoes. I am a nurse on my feet all day. This is my third pair of Alegria and I would not wear anything else. I wear a size 9 and the 39 fit perfectly.

The leather is a bit stiff but that may be because they are still pretty new. Lots of comments when I wear them about how cute they are.

I have searched and searched for the right pair of black shoes - the criteria being "cute" and "comfortable enough to grocery shop in at 38 weeks pregnant." After trying so many pair (thanks Zappos for the free returns and great customer service) I settled on these. These shoes are a snug fit which, with narrow feet, is great - no flopping around or slipping off the heel. They are requiring some break in time, but after all the shoes I tried I could tell that once broken in, these shoes would be clutch because they are well made, similar to Birks.

This shoe is great looking. It was not comfortable out of the box which earned it 4 stars instead of 5, but with a few wearings, it has become quite comfortable. It is definitely one you cannot wear socks with very easily.

I was very excited to get this item because it seemed like a comfortable shoe and I've been having a lot of issues with my feet lately. However, although the shoe felt true to size and had a cushiony sole, for me, the vamp of the shoe was stiff and hit uncomfortably at the top of my foot. So I had to return them.

This is the second pair of Alegra brand that I've ordered, and although they are very supportive and comfortable to stand on, my heels come out with every step I take. I wear a 9, and have an average width foot, and I am disappointed that they don't stay on. I will stick with the open back clogs when ordering this brand.
