These boots run very big. I wear a 7.5 normally and got the size 5. But I think I could go down a whole size to a 4. Also the photo looks like it doesn't have the big tread that the other Blundstone's have. But this one has a pretty big tread also. I will try to re-order.

Couldn’t be happier, great boots! Best Oz export since Elle Macpherson! I bought my first pair of Blundstone 500s direct from Australia 14 years ago and threw them out 11 years later. Now for the last year they were garden boots with duct tape over the split between the sole and upper, but that’s the way Blunnies roll. My current everyday pair are 4 years old and still look great (the waterproof and slightly wider 200s). I also have a pair of 63s (8 years) for dressier wear, and as soon as I saw the 62s on sale, I jumped. Since I seem to wear far more brown than black. As you can tell I like these boots very much and so do the friends I’ve given them to as gifts. "These are the best boots ever" being the typical comment. I’ve walked miles and miles in ‘em, outdoors, in town, through dust, wet, and snow, and for slip on boots, they performed exceptionally well. While no slip on can ever match the support of a lace up, Blundstones — provided they fit you right with a good wool sock — will comfortably walk farther than any boot I’ve ever had. Give ‘em a light coat of nikwax every so often and a little neutral polish (or black for black) and they’ll last and look good for years. The only drawback is they can’t be re-soled, but by the time the soles are finished, the uppers won’t be worth it anyway. FYI Australian sizing: whole numbers for length, half sizes are width… so if 8 is the length 8.5 is an 8 wide, 9 is the next longer size and 9.5 is 9 wide, etc. If I have an un-frugal shoe moment, I’ll buy the BL065in suede.

A little stiff and a bit wide for my narrow-ish foot, but for the sale price, I'm keeping them. I will just wear a thicker sock and I bet they will eventually turn into a favorite comfy slip on. My husband owns a pair and has had them for years and the older they get the better they look and feel. The Stout brown is a nice dark alternative to black. They run a bit big. I went down at a half size, maybe even a full size down would be fine but I like extra room in the toe area and would rather have them not be close to touching the end.

I love, love, love these boots! I just need them to be a little narrower. I usually order med width, but a B width will hopefully fix it. Looking forward to my exchanged pair!

Great look shoes. Very comfortable and durable. I'll probably switch out the sole for a more cushiony gel sole, I do a lot of walking in these boots

This is my third pair of Blundstone boots. When new they are a bit stiff so I wear them for short periods of time until they are broken in. I wear them with insoles for extra comfort.

Superb Chelsea boot that fits perfectly with my orthotics. I have a different pair (not Blundstones) that I can't wear the orthotics in without constricting the top of my foot. These work perfectly.
Wish I had discovered them years ago. The construction seems good quality as well.

Carefully studied the reviews for this shoe here on Zappos.com. I saw some folks advise to get my size, others recommend a size up. I ordered both and kept my actual shoe size. Never had a pair of shoes like this before, and I wondered if they would feel 'sloppy' once broken in. They took a bit of a 'pull' to get on the first few days, and felt slightly snug, but now after having them for two months, they go on easy, no boot slop, and are oh-so-comfortable! I love these boots, get compliments on them and find that I'm not rushing to take my shoes off at the end of my day.

Nice boot. I had reservations about getting another pair of Blunnies when I heard they moved from Oz to Asia. I was looking for a dressier boot with a box toe. RM Williams are nice, but they are stupid expensive. I checked out Rossis and Redbacks as well. I went for the Blundstones because I was somewhat familiar with their products owning 2 pairs of 500s since 2003. Overall, I like the look of this boot. I immediately ditched the supplied insole in favor of some Superfeet blues. They feel great and are still lightweight. They are breaking in nicely and I haven't felt any discomfort...just the new boot slop. Time will tell if this boot will last like its Aussie made ancestors. The leather doesn't feel the same though...plastic like almost. Maybe they'll soften over time and wear.

I've worn out a pair of Blundstone boots and this is my second pair in 8 years. I ordered a half-size up from my normal 6.5 for comfort and to allow for thicker socks when I want them. I also have added a shearling liner from time-to-time and I can use it with or without socks, once I've broken the boots in. I like them for all my dirty work and I think they look pretty cute clean!

I love these boots! I am a high school teacher, and I wanted a pair of boots I can wear every day all day long. They are wonderful for our variable, East Tennessee, wet winters. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I wear them mostly with khakis, cords, and jeans, and they look great! They are a very dark brown. I also found them to be sized a little large. I ordered them in size AU 5 (US Women’s 7-1/2), and they fit perfectly, but I ALWAYS wear a US Women’s 8, so they do run a bit large. I also have to mention how much I love Zappos service. I ordered them on Sunday evening, they upgraded the shipping, and I had them on Tuesday evening. Very Satisfied Customer!

I really like these boots. They are still hard to pull on, but I think that will get easier with time. Once on, they are very comfortable and look good.

i love these boots. i clean houses so i am on my feet all day, including standing in showers with cleaning solution and water constantly dripping on the boots. the water just beads and rolls off and the seams are waterproofed well [i did add a thin layer of waterproofer that was included with the boots]. i slip much less on wet tile floors than any other shoes i\'ve tried. i notice that i keep them on when i come home, not kick them off like other shoes. my feet are warm and dry. the toe box is roomy for bunions or to put in orthotics if one wanted. they look great with jeans and don\'t have that clunky, lug sole that so many boots have. the leather is very soft. i\'m very happy with them and i\'m sure they will last years even with daily use.

These shoes are really wide and really big, one was also way smaller than the other. You will need thick hiking socks for them to fit, even then they are loose but mostly OK.

Read many of the reviews, and initially, based on those reviews, bought a half size smaller. However, I found that length wise, they run true to size, but felt that they run a little large in volume. I exchanged them for the correct size, and then purchased a different liner. They are too casual to wear with a suit or dressier slacks, seem like they would best be worn with jeans or corduroy pants.

I like these shoes a lot. What I like most are how light they are. Also, the cushion heel makes them very comfortable. Haven\'t gone through an Oregon winter yet, but so far, water just seems to roll right off of them.

The Blundstones are good boots. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. They are also surprisingly easy to clean if they get dirty, all the crud just rinses right off. Be aware that they do need some breaking in: they rubbed the back of my calf for the first couple of weeks of wear.

Finally, Blundstone has come up with a shoe/boot that doesn't look bulbous and awkward - and is not too dressy for tramping through Africa or working in a muddy field either. Appearance-wise, it seems to be based closely on R.M. Williams' ultra-expensive Yard Boot, but without the stellar price tag (or sublime fit). Overall quality and toughness are typical Blunnie, i.e. very good. Even though I like the fit more than other Blundstones I've owned, they're still a bit sloppy in the heel and arch for my tastes. And a little long, too. I ordered Aus 10 to fit an American size 11 foot, but ended up exchanging them for the Aus 9 1/2. All this having been said, the more I wear them, the better they feel and the more I do like 'em. Despite my minor complaints, these are keepers!

Great, but one caveat -
These shoes look great and are breaking in nicely, but for arthritic hands, they are hard to get off and on. They are getting a little better now that I've worn them a few times!

I replaced a pair of 550's with these, and the shoes seem very different. Both have the SPS sole, but the sole in these seems much softer, almost gooey. Arch support is non-existant, which makes things even worse. It's too bad because the leather uppers are made of quality leather, and the shoes is, overall, attractive. But, I wouldn't buy these again.

A pair of Lemons: I really wanted to like Blundstones, as I like the style and they seem durable, but at best these are really idiosyncratic shoes, and this pair might even be defective. First of all: I had go a half size smaller than what I normally wear, to an AUS 8, but after trying two other sizes, the two shoes I ended up with are not the same dimensions from L to R. The left fits as well as a slip-on boot can. But the right shoe (which, if one of my feet actually was larger, should feel tighter) fits much more loosely than the left. It slips and slides around so much that walking is very uncomfortable and my sock is continually dragged down, and off my foot. It seems that there's more room from top-to-bottom in the right shoe than the left, which in a shoe without laces turns out to be a huge problem. Standing is pretty comfortable, but walking any distance at all ends being an exercise in extreme annoyance. (I tried going down another half size from AUS 8 to 7 1/2, but that was like going to woman's shoes - they looked almost half an inch shorter, it's clear at that size they are scaled for woman or children, even if they don't explicitly state it.) So, buyer beware: don't commit if you aren't sure, and listen to your feet. I didn't, and might be stuck with these.

I've always wanted a pair of Blunnies but never really got around to getting a pair until now. They are fabulous right out of the box...they felt a tad stiff around the ankle for the first hour or so but that was short lived. I wear them not stop, no issues whatsoever. Will be interesting to see how warm they are in the bitter upstate NY winters but did not really buy them to replace a winter boot. They look great with everything. I also followed the reviews since I fall between a 9 and a 9.5...I went with the 9 and they are perfect with plenty of toe room. I guess an Australian 9.5 is just wider from what I have learned online. Hope that helps!!

Love this boot so much I purchased it in both black and brown. Followed sizing recommendations in previous reviews. Also purchased inserst as I like a very supported arch. It is now my go-to boot this fall. Slim enough to wear when going out to dinner and rugged enough to handle wandering the streets amidst the leaves and rain puddles.

These boots are incredibly well-made. Ordering a half-size smaller than I usually do made the foot bed fit perfectly. My problem is bony feet, so I should stick with a lace-up or an adjustable style. They're just too roomy over the tops of my feet.
