I'm a middle aged woman with damn sexy feet, y'all! I'm wearing them with a maxi hippie type skirt and they're so adorable and comfortable! I feel like if the Greek Oracles were around they would order these shoes and they could skip up the steps of the Parthenon. But first, some warnings. 1. Do not come running home to your Zappos box after a long, hot, humid day on your feet and try these on. I could hardly get them zipped up and they bothered the top of my feet where straps dug in. So sad! Then I realized my feet were probably swollen. Duh. The next morning, after a good night's sleep and getting rid of retained fluids, the shoes felt like a dream. Zipped up easily and didn't dig in at all. Fit like a glove. Whoop whoop! 2. I was surprised at the color smoky vachetta. It appears brown in the photo but it is not. It's more of a taupe/khaki color...definitely not brown or tan. In the evening it could almost look dove grey. Goddesses need a good neutral shade and this works. 3. I ordered a half size down as others have suggested (thanks girls), and it fits great with ample width for my wide feet.

These sandals are comfortable enough to wear for walking a significant amount, although maybe not on uneven terrain; their height might facilitate the twisting of an ankle. They're super cute with cropped pants and skinny jeans! I feel stylish wearing them with none of the discomfort and fear of falling that I have when wearing most shoes that give me height. The leather is very supple and somewhat "stretchy" so a person with a narrow foot might find that their feet swim around in them a bit. Even my regular width feet have plenty of room. The "smoky" color I ordered is great because it goes with both black and brown (other colors too, obviously).

Ladies, get these shoes. They are awesome. I am a nearly 60 year old, who works retail and am on my feet for 12 hour days, working a 90,000 square foot showroom. They are so comfortable and good looking that there are no words I can use to adequately use to describe them. They run half size smaller than normal.

I agree with the other reviewer. These shoes run large. I've never returned a shoe for being too big...I wear a size 10 for crying out loud...I'm usually just thrilled shoes fit. I'm going to try a 9.5 since I love these and feel they will be very stylish, yet comfortable to wear over all terrains. They are not extremely light, if that is an issue for you. But, they will look cute with skirts, jeans, etc. They are extremely comfortable and if I were a size 10 with a much wider/larger bone structure, they would still work, but since they are a bit too long, I'm hoping a 9.5 will also fit a bit more snugly. I would recommend these shoes. I'm a shoe-holic!

I remember going nuts when I saw this shoe! It just has the "it" factor. I'm 40ish but don't feel too old to wear it & it looks terrific on! I think it's the sort of shoe that adapts to everyone's foot. Because it is made wholly of straps, it stretches or hugs your foot as needed - it basically molds to the foot. So as per reviews I was going to order the 6.5 & was keeping an eye on it to make sure it was not running out. So there was stock & suddenly I checked & there was none available & neither in the size 6. So what to do? I ordered the size 7. You know what? Although it didn't hug my foot, I probably would've kept it. I like it so much, because of the styling and the straps around the ankle, my foot was held somehow in place. I kept checking though for the 6.5 to become available & suddenly the size 6 became available (1 left!) so I just grabbed it - figured let's see. It fit! It's snug but doesn't hurt or anything. So I think you can try a range of sizes even if they don't have specifically what you prefer. The 6.5 did become available but I debated for about a minute & it was gone so I'm good with the 6. I wrote it feels a full size larger, but I probably could've gotten away with a 1/2 size smaller as well. So in sandals I'm generally a 6.5 & in a closed shoe a size 7M & that was my experience with this shoe/sandal. I also want to mention that the brown is not leather like the other colors. The straps are suede. It's a deep rich brown. I did see the smokey too & that color is a greenish brown like olive-y. However, it may be used as a neutral & lean toward whatever you happen to be wearing. That one is regular leather. Also, all hardware is goldtone not silver. I am uncomfortable wearing a higher heel & usually don't feel sturdy. But I feel very stable in these shoes. Jambu usually has very comfy shoes - the footbed here is very spongy & so comfortable it's nuts! But in other Jambu shoes/booties I took my regular size 7 so it's just this style as far as I know. It's rare to find such comfort in such a fashion forward shoe, which is why I spend the money when/if I find it. Good luck!

Awesome sandal. This is my first Jambu shoe/sandal so the ladies who wrote a review helped me get the correct size right off the bat. I normally wear a 9.5 so I ordered a 9; it fits great! Very comfy, super cute and the arch support is perfect. I ordered the nude color and it is the perfect addition to my shoe collection - this makes pair #82! Thank you Zappos for giving us shoe addicts somewhere to fill our needs!

I spent a week walking all over Paris in these lovely sandals. Perfect mix of fashion and comfort for the price! I normally wear 8.5 or 9 US and 39 or 40 EUR. I ordered these in an 8 and they fit well, but a half size smaller would have been better.

I agree with the other reviewers: this runs a half size large. I am a size 7, and they were too long. Ordered the 6.5. The smoky color is more like a greenish brown. I actually like it better than I anticipated. Looking forward to receiving the correct size shortly.

This product ran a half size larger than my normal ordering size. I typically wear a size 8 and had to send back and order a size 7.5 Good quiet sole. Soft landing like other Jambu shoes.

Perfect! Got these on Friday, walked downtown (25 min), danced at a show, walked back home. So comfortable, no break-in. I did order a half size down from my normal size and they fit perfectly!

Love. So comfy too! Run slightly larger. I usually wear 9.5-10 but 9 was the size for me in this shoe. I have a normal to narrow foot-width is perfect for me.

Bought these in red...love them as does everyone who sees them! I have many foot issues and have had 4 foot surgeries, these shoes are extremely supportive and comfortable. I can wear these all day, walk miles in them and not even think about kicking them off! Amazingly... I actually plan my wardrobe around wearing these shoes as often as I can. These shoes in red will make you smile!

I ordered a half size smaller based on other reviews and they fit perfectly. I get compliments on these shoes every time I wear them. I only wish they had them in black!

I adore these shoes! They are fun and funky, and do not trash my knees and back. They are more comfortable than some of my flats. I cannot recommend them enough. I always wear a 10, but ended up with a 9 in these shoes.

These shoes are fabulous! I did order them half a size smaller as other reviews suggested and they were right. They are so very comfortable, too.

Took the advice of the other reviewers...normally I am a size 9, ordered 8 1/2 and they fit perfect. Had a little trouble with the sewn leather rubbing on the ankle bone at first, but now they are fine and very comfortable. I love this shoe! I get several compliments every time I wear them. It looks good with sundresses as well as shorts. Everyone asks where I got them!

Love these shoes once I got the size right! I took others' comments to heart and ordered a half size smaller than my usual size 8, but even the 7.5 was too big, so sent them back for a 7 which fits perfectly. I am actually about a 7.75, not a true size 8, so I guess that's why. Anyway, they are gorgeous and amazingly comfortable, just like every other pair of Jambus I have ever owned. Have worn them twice and both times people have actually stopped me to compliment me on them and ask me where I got them. I refuse to wear uncomfortable shoes, but I also refuse to wear ugly shoes, so you can imagine how hard it can be to find the right pair, especially when I am looking for something a little dressy. These fit the bill. Way to go Jambu, and way to go, Zappos, for making returns and exchanges so easy and affordable!

These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. I rarely wear anything with a heal and I'm able to wear these all day and my feet are still happy. They do run a bit big. I had to send them back and get a half size smaller than my norm. I bought them for their looks but wear them all the time because of their comfort. I absolutely love these shoes! Every time I wear them, I get compliments. Every time!

Very cute and one of the only 2-inch heels I can actually walk in comfortably. Very comfortable to walk in except that the rivets on the ankle can sometimes rub -- as the leather is stretching with wear this is less of an issue. Runs large -- I normally wear a 7.5/8 and a 7 fits me fine in this shoe. I have somewhat wide toes and find the toe box very comfortable. I can also wear this with my custom orthotics.

Bought these in nude, 1/2 size smaller than normal, and I couldn't be more pleased. They're comfortable, stylish, and go with EVERYTHING -- dresses, skirts, pants, jeans.

I stepped out of my style comfort zone when I ordered this shoe, but it was a great decision. I love these shoes; I can't say enough wonderful about them. I need arch support and these provide enough. It's hard to believe looking at the photo that they're incredibly comfortable. I can wear them for 10 hours with no problem. Compliments pour in. And the few original doubters have totally come around!

I love this shoe. Yes, it does run 1/2 size too large. I normally wear a 9.5, but I ordered a 9 right off the bat and they are perfect. After all day at work my feet were still happy! Very soft landing, great looking and oh so comfy. If I can scrape together this much, I will get another pair!

I love these sandals, they go with everything. Most important is that they're very comfortable! A little heavy, but I don't find them clunky at all. I will be able to wear these from spring into fall! Love the color and the style is unique, I received a lot of compliments on them. As always great service at Zappos. Runs true to size.
