Very different in fit and sizing from the Croc Modi Flip. The plastic is slippery, almost greasy feeling. The nubs in the footbed are raised and not very comfortable. The length of the shoe seems shorter than the Modi. I am a woman who wears a 8.5 or 39. I have a slightly wide foot and plantar fasciitis in my right foot. The Modi is a much better fit for me. The shoe looks nice, but it's uncomfortable.

I think these could be very comfortable however, the size is very misleading. I normally wear a 7 maybe 7 1/2. I ordered an 8 as others had instructed to order a size up. The 8 looked like it might be a size 6 or smaller. My foot barely made it on the sole. May have to order a couple of times to get the size right.

This review is continued from the above review...from Western NY. I did return the 2nd pair of these Crocs and exchanged them for the next size larger again! Just received them and now they fit perfectly! However, I have never worn a size 9 woman's shoe in my life! Now I can say that I have! Lol! Customer service was very helpful and courteous...thank you Zappos!

Very short for reported size. I normally wear a 7.5, ordered an 8 as suggested and they are way too short. I would compare it to a size 6.5 or 7. The width was nice even for my very swollen pregnant feet and hopefully once I nail down the right size these shoes will be perfect. But FYI it may take some trial and error to find the right one.

Had to return the 1st pair...too small even though I ordered the same size of another pair of Crocs that I have worn for 2 years. Customer service was wonderful and the next size up was in my hands the very next day! However, they are still short on my foot. I think I will keep them and hope they 'adjust' to my foot! Love the color..raspberry! Just beware...this shoe runs very small!

Cute but smaller than other Croc flip flops I have in size W 9 -- which actually makes them true to size. I would size up except the arch is weird. It arches on the outstep too, which for me has got to be worse than having no arch at all. It's nice that they've adjusted the thong strap to be thinner between the toes.

Unisex and definitely made for a man's foot. Way big. Nubbys on inside of sole also uncomfortable.

This has got to be the most ill fitting shoe to ever flop! I'm amazed that Crocs would allow something so shabby to ever get to market. The left shoe would not stay snug on my foot and kept trying to slip off my foot. The right one stayed on, but the size is so off it was tight and uncomfortable.

These run way small. I've worn Crocs Athens for years, and thought the Duet Athens would be even better. I read the reviews and ordered a size 9 (I usually wear a size 8). But even the size 9 was a bit small for me. I'm returning them and won't bother to try the size 10, because the whole sandal felt a bit weird in the fit anyway. Why did Crocs louse up the sizing so badly? Signed, Disappointed.

I got a pair for myself for my trip to Miami. They were so comfortable that I bought a pair for my wife. They do run a little small so you must order a size bigger than your normal size. I am very pleased with my purchase, thanks Zappos.

Because of what previous reviews stated about these running small, I ordered 2 pair one in my usual size and one larger. I wear a women's 12 and my usual size fit perfectly just like all the other Crocs I have. And of course Zappos makes it so easy to return the extra pair! One thing I noticed after I had worn them, is the thong attachment was applied crooked and hence rubs my toe, so please check before you wear, under the front "V" you will see an indention where it is attached.

These Crocs are so comfortable. I bought them for a cruise that I will be going on this week. I can't wait to wear them around the ship during the daytime. I got the white with pink they are very girly and cute looking. I know they will last a long time. Great for the summer and going for pedicures!

This is my second attempt to buy shoes online and I struck out again. I was given a pair of Crocs very similar to these two years ago as a gift and even though I usually wear a size 9½W, the size 9 I was given fit me quite well. I figured I could order the same size and be safe. I was wrong. These have to go back for a size 10 as they are way shorter and thus narrower than the pair I have. I still love my Crocs!

Very comfortable. I do wish they made a specific woman's size-a bit too wide as they are sold to fit both men and women.

I love these! I had to go up one full size larger, but I am glad that I did! The support is excellent, the comfort is excellent, too. I walked all day in them and danced all night, and my feet felt good! I love Birkenstocks, and now these are my new favorite summer shoes! I always have a hard time getting good supportive summer flip-flops that last and do not hurt my arches, these work, and I absolutely love them! My feet are also wide and my right ankle has been broken twice so it swells a lot. The extra width and comfort, totally was the right match for me! I am an active person and having Diabetes, I need shoes to feel good on my feet! I have increased my walking routine, and these shoes feel so good to walk in and are very supportive for me. Thank you Crocs, for making long walks more comfortable and more fun!

I bought these because the color was great for summer and I have another pair, which I absolutely love, in the beige/pink. I bought these because I could not fit my pregnant swollen feet in any other larger shoes and based on another review from a pregnant woman, I decided to give these a try. Sure enough, they were perfect! However, when my second pair arrived (the pink and gray pair) they were tighter than my beige/pink pair so it looks like I will be wearing these post-pregnancy. I consider myself stylish, and these are both stylish and comfortable. I highly recommend but order a size up if you have pregnant, swollen feet!

These Crocs are moderately comfortable but they don't make my feet do the happy dance. Wet traction is good. Too early to tell how well they wear.

At first I thought I might keep these as the color and style is great. But as I continued to wear them around the house I noticed the the piece that goes between your big toe and your second toe was really rubbing hard. It's a thick piece of material that is relatively hard and non flexible. My second toe is just killing me now! I'm bummed but these have to go back.

Have been wearing and loving Crocs Athens for many many years in a woman's 11. Finally thought this year I was going to get a fun, pretty color in my size. No such luck. The woman's 11 circa 2012 is about a size and a half smaller than it used to be. I even held it up against last year's pair to compare. So now I am ordering a woman's 12, and there's nothing in a 12 in pink. Back to the man's colors. What is the point of Crocs making them a size and a half smaller? And what makes you think a woman with a size 12 foot wouldn't want to wear a pink sandal?

These are very cute but not as comfortable as other Crocs I've worn. There's a built up ridge on the outer side of the shoe that isn't comfortable for my foot. Returning them.

I love the Crocs footbed and was looking forward to getting some sandals that could show off a cute pedicure. Unfortunately, these really don't work for me. The piece between the toes is oddly wide and uncomfortable. I can't wear them for more than a few minutes.

If you are looking for shoes to rival the original Crocs Athens, look elsewhere. The Duet version of the Athens does not live up to the claims of being basically the same but just more durable. I do not doubt the durability claim because the rubber feels so much harder than the originals (though at three years my originals are doing fine). The nubs are more noticeable because the footbed surface is harder and more slippery feeling. There is almost no cushy give to these shoes. I have worn the original Athens through plantar fasciitis and swollen feet, and they were my go-to shoes when I had to do lots of being on my feet. But these Duet Athens are only like the Athens in their appearance. Crocs forgot to put in the comfort. I am going back to the originals.

I have several pairs of crocs and usually like their products but I did not like how these sandals looked on my feet so I returned them. I ordered a larger size because of other reviews that I read and the length in the back was fine but the front of the shoe extended out and around my toes excessively and to me they looked like I was wearing skis. I have already ordered a different style of Croc thongs and I'm hoping that those will look better.

My husband loves these sandals. He says they are more comfortable than his sneakers. Imagine that! Crocs are my new favorites.
