Very cute but definitely narrower/tighter than traditional Chuck Taylor low tops. There are seams on the inside, presumably where the tongue is sewn to the toe piece, that rub against the top of my foot in a really irritating way. But I'm hopeful that those will get softened and worn down after some time because these do look cute. I wore them with leggings and a dress one night and then with jean shorts and a tee shirt the next day and they looked good both ways. A subtly feminine twist on a classic.

I love these shoes now that I got the correct size. I am normally a size 7 in regular shoes and a 7.5 in running shoes. In the regular Converse lo, I wear a men's 4.5 or 5 because they run wide and large. In the dainty ox's I had to size up to a women's 8 to get enough run where my toes did not feel totally squished. Now, they feel great. I wish they came in more colors.

I mean, you just can't go wrong with Converse. I especially like the lower profile of these. Makes them a little more feminine and I love pairing them with skinny jeans, a striped top, and a mussed 60's ponytail for a French-retro vibe. Super comfortable and run much closer to true size than traditional converse. I'm normally a size 3 in men's converse, so I had ordered a 5 in women's but then had to return for the 6 which is my size and fit perfectly. Simply a classic in a little more sleek profile.

Love them, have to get a larger size. I usually wear a women's 6 (men's 4) in Converse, these are smaller and more narrow. And I think they are more comfortable than traditional Converse!

Look great, but a lot slimmer fitting than my standard converse, so they are a bit too tight around my toes.

I am a size 6.5, but got a size 7 and it fits perfect, so I recommend a half size up. These shoes are very comfortable... took them out of the box, wore them all day and no blisters! My favorite thing is that these are not clunky at all and are extremely light, unlike other converse I've worn. I do suffer from bunions, but was not bothered by pain or uncomfortableness so give these a shot!

Love these shoes. Not as clunky as the usual Converse which I love. Great fit, good color. Would definitely buy again.

I ordered these in both an 8 and a 9 because I was unsure about the sizing. I usually wear a size 8.5 (39 Euro) and with the regular Chuck Taylor sneakers I wear an 8 (men's 6). This "dainty" style does seem to run small. The 8 squeezed my toes and felt generally too tight, but the 9 fit fine. I have worn them out once and have had no blisters or other problems with them.

I bought this in a couple of colors which are true as displayed. I am very happy with my purchase. I love the slimmer profile. Its a lot more feminine in my opinion. I am usually between a 7.5 and 8, but the 8 fit perfectly in this case and a 7.5 would have been too tight. I have narrow feet. If you have very wide feet, you may need to break it in. But for average to skinny feet sizing up by a half size should be more than enough. I also love the obvious durability. I also find it very comfortable. My only request is for cute colorways. Like the pale pink, and even a pastel yellow.

I just received these and they are misrepresented in the photos online. They have a cheap look to them and the labels on the tongue and back of the shoes have a very tiny print on them so it looks like I cheaped out and bought a pair of bastard chucks. This is my second pair of converse I've ordered from Zappos and I'm getting frustrated. The first pair looked like the ones in the pictures and fit snug without socks, which in turn destroyed my heels so I had to wear them like slippers after only one hour when I was at Coachella all day. After washing Coachella off of them they shrunk, so non-returnable I finally decided to order another pair in a bigger size thinking they'd fit better with socks, but they are too big. They aren't cute, they are long and really narrow looking. Not at all flattering. I'm returning them. I'm so disappointed.

I love them, you can wear them with shorts or jeans. They are so cute on your feet! I have a pair and I got my granddaughter a pair. She loves them too!

Like this shoe very much. I was a little concerned about how tight the shoe would be, I am normally an 8 1/2 so I ordered the size 8 since there are no half sizes. I read many other reviews that said the shoes were extremely tight. I can say the shoes were tight the first couple times I wore them. After that the shoes fit excellent. Very happy with my purchase and will order more in the future.

Awesome shoe. These are so cute and light, unlike the original Converse. The sole is thinner and doesn't look "clunky". I bought these for power-lifting and do believe they will work just fine. These are NOT unisex and fit true to size. What some people don't realize is that the original Converse are sized for men. So while you may be a man's size 5 in the original, in these you would be a size 7. I wear a man's 5/woman's 7. I ordered a size 7 and it fits perfectly. I have flat feet and don't find these to be too narrow. There is also plenty of wiggle room for my toes. It doesn't have a lot of arch support, but it works for my purposes.

I ordered these in grey, and they will go with everything. They fit just right -- not too tight like the lite ox and not big and clunky like the regular style.

It is amazing how when some manufacturers design a women's shoe, they cut all the corners and still charge the same or higher price than a similar men's shoe. This shoe is cute, but absolutely no padding - feels like you are walking on cement. And the fabric is noticeably thinner than another style I ordered by Converse, which is a "men's" shoe. Return!

These were annoyingly narrow and as small as you can get without actually being a size smaller. I have bigger feet so I love the idea of a dainty Chuck to minimize, but unfortunately they only offer up to an 11 and it’s the smallest 11 I’ve run into in a long time. Converse PLEASE make larger sizes and wide width in these so all women can enjoy them!

Had looked at reviews but I have several pairs of converse and they do fit different from canvas to leather.But these fit great didn’t have to change nothing. Love ?? my chucks.

I love the shoe and the style with a pair of shorts. But it took a LONG time for my shoes to wear in and become comfortable. The shoe is very stiff at first so I recommend throwing them in the WD to help soften the canvas if needed

great fir but order half size bigger, if you order white they get dirty pretty soon but you can machine wash

Very cute, more feminine looking and not nearly as heavy as boy Chucks. I love mine! Toe is a little narrow so not sure how they'd do on wider feet. I got the same size I wear in other shoes (whereas boy Chucks I'd have to order down a size). Very happy with these!

I bought these for my daughter who will only wear Converse brand shoes. I am honestly not sure about them being true to their size. I have always bought her the same size in Converse brand shoes so they were true to the Converse brand size, and are not my daughter's favorite shoes. She loves how light they are, told me they are some of the most comfy Converse shoes she has worn, and totally loves the color. They look cute with a pair of jeans or a cute little skirt. Great shoes, do recommend them.

I love these "dainty" ones way more than regular chucks. I bought this dainty pair because I liked the color but another regular pair too. The regular ones looked like clown shoes on me! The soles were so thick and bulky. I even showed my husband and had him hold each one and the weight on the regular ones was so heavy!! I sent those back and kept these dainty ones. I've had my fair share of chucks over the years and these just look so much better on my feet. They are a bit snug but not too much to be concerned.

I love these! The more delicate shape is amazing, and makes me so happy. :) I actually find these more comfortable than regular Chucks, and a few people have asked how I got my Chucks to have a smaller white band, lol. Get these socks to go with them! They do show a little on me (my Chucks are a 7), but very minimally. Almost perfect!
