These were the most uncomfortable Danskos I have ever had. I gave them away b/c I kept them too long trying to wear them.

I wanted to love these, they just made me feel old and frumpy. They were comfortable. The leather seemed thin. If the straps and buckles were larger I think they would be more attractive. Returned, just didn’t like them.

I am a size 12 on the narrow side and these shoes were so uncomfortable on my first lengthy wearing doing hair. My heel was in so much pain and I had a blister on the same foot too. I’m sending them back not in the original box but they were so uncomfortable I can’t keep them

This did not feel like the Dansko shoe's I have purchased in the past!

I love my Dansko Susie sandal. It's stylish, comfortable, and well made. I can't say the same for the Sophie sandal! The leather was more like plastic, and the arch support hit in the wrong place for my foot. Sadly, I had to send them back. Wish Dansko made the Susie in brown leather!

I have and still wear size 40 dansko shoes, but suddenly these are slightly too small, not significantly - if the rest of the shoe had been acceptable, I probably would have kept them. Danskos always have the slight up tilt at the toe, and when comparing them you can't appreciate a difference between this model and older ones, except for slight difference in the amount of padding showing above the sole line from the side. But apparently it is significant! it feels like they are trying to bend my toes back over the top of my foot. My right foot's toes are still jacked up from the 3 minutes standing I did in them :(

Buyer beware. Even though these are not cheap sandals and Dansko has an insert in the box they come in stating how they only use the best leathers, this style is NOT in leather! Only the LINING of the upper is leather. Totally unacceptable for Dansko to not be able to use real leather - for such a small amount of space. Seems cheap to me and sneaky to have that insert in there. Not happy at all as they squeeze your foot rather than easing like leather.

I just cant figure out what's going on with the Dansko brand. I worn Dansko size 39 for years. Love the shoe, can walk miles in my Danskos but lately they are making the size 39 too short & my toe hangs over. Im still wearing my old Dansko size 39 that fit perfectly. I will have to replace my old Dansko with another brand. Sad. I tried a different style in Dansko & still had the same issue. Back they go.

After reading other reviews and having had Dansko Lolita's in the past - and going against Zappos' automated sizing recommendation of a Size 40 - I ordered a 41 (my normal Euro size). These shoes REALLY run small. In addition, I didn't care for the overall feel of the shoe for me. Too narrow and unstable for walking. Returned.

Super Comfy! Much more comfortable than the Jessie. It has a softer footbed. Just got diagnosed with Plantar Fascitis and these are perfect for outside or around the house. I got the pink because they were the cheapest but I actually really like the color! They run a bit small though. I am a 9.5 and the 41 fits best. (I had to rate the arch support so I did but I don't have an issue with this so it's not really on my radar screen).

The comfort and fit of these sandals is good. I had a pair a few years ago which were black. However, this particular shoe leaves black dye on the tops of your feet when it's hot and sweaty outside. I wouldn't recommend because it takes a day for the dye to come off your skin.

This was my last try at a Dansko heel. I have returned 3 pair now. The most comfortable cute shoes but I can't stand the squeak!

So so sad--I wrote a glowing 5-star review for these after happily wearing them around my house for a couple days...then today I walked 15 blocks and my pinkie toes are SCREAMING. My feet are a pretty average width, I think, and I tried loosening the lower buckle, so hopefully that will help--but my feet are NOT happy, and worst of all, I don't think I can return these since I wore them outside! Sad face! Will try some different Danskos next time...maybe Vinnie or Sonja.

Sole of shoe comfortable; however, I have ended up with painful blisters on the sides of my pinky toes every time after I wear these so I have stopped wearing them.

I really wanted to like this sandal. It received great reviews so I was looking forward to a comfortable sandal. Unfortunately, the front strap hurt my foot. It's possible that with enough wear I would break in the leather and it would be fine, but my experience has been that if a shoe is not comfortable out of the box it does not necessarily get better with time. I agree with the reviewer who noted that the shoe runs small. I usually wear a 9 1/2-10 so I first ordered the 40 but traded it for the 41. My toes were close to/at the top edge in the 41, but I imagine that changes over time as the foot bed conforms to your foot. These shoes look beautiful and feel great out of the box. But I have gotten terrible blisters every time I wear them where the strap over the instep rubs my foot raw. I don't know if I can ever wear these for more than a half hour and I wouldn't be able to walk any distance. If I had known this, I would have returned them but now that I have worn them, hoping that they finally would break in, they are not returnable.

The footbed on these sandals is amazing. Super comfortable, I could walk all day on it. The problem is the straps rub just about everywhere they come in contact with my feet. I cant walk in these for more than an hour because I get blisters. Unfortunately, I've worn them so they're un-returnable.

These are beautiful sandals, but oh so uncomfortable. Changing the buckle either causes the foot to slip out of the footbed or gives you nasty bruises on the toe from the tightness of the shoe. Too bad, I love Dankso!

Just did not deliver in the support department. I had to return them. Bummer. I need a good supportive summer sandal! Oh, and also, the shoe runs small. Win some, you lose some. This was not a winner in my book.

Have always worn Dansko clogs. I also own a pair of Dansko sandals that are no longer sold. I loved those. These run very narrow.

I left comfort at 5 stars because they probably would be comfy shoes - as my old Danskos are - if I could fit my feet into them at all. What happened, Danskos? I used to wear a 37 and even though my feet are wide, your shoes fit perfectly. Based on other reviews I bought the Sophie in a 38, and chose this style because of the two adjustable straps, and yet it doesn't work for me on even the widest setting. Huge sad face for Danskos. What a disappointment.

I have several pairs of Dansko's and love them. These are the first I am sending back. They were too near in the arch and not comfortable. I like the look but the feel is not Dansko.

It looks nicer in the picture than on my foot. Something about either the style or the color made me feel like a little old lady.

This shoe surprised me. It is much heavier than I thought and also much smaller. Not what I was thinking.
