I love these shoes. I have a narrow foot, and am so happy Dansko finally put an adjustable strap across the toe box so I can now wear one of their sandals! I have waited for several years. In the winter I wear professional clog narrow. Thanks Dansko!

So comfy! Softer and with more give than the clogs, but with the same wonderful support. They don't look clunky either. I have a bad knee and these shoes are very kind to it.

These run a little short. I usually wear a 38 but had to return them for a 39. Other then that they are super cute and really comfortable.

I absolutely love these shoes! I have such problems with my feet (surgeries, broken bones, high arches that can never get enough support, you get the idea) that I can very rarely find shoes that my feet do not hurt in after wearing for just a short while. These are like heaven. They provide perfect support in all the right areas. And even though they have good heels, it does not feel as though you are walking in heels. They are more comfortable than most flat shoes, even those with good support. I think I will order another pair. I usually buy one size smaller than my regular shoe size when buying Dansko open toe sandals, or they tend to run too big for me.

I loved the Dansko clogs that I began wearing last winter when plantar fasciitis attacked. I bought these and similar Dansko sandals in May; if you have a problem with sweaty feet or odor - do not buy these or any pair with this footbed! After less than two months they are unwearable. I have never had shoes become this smelly and there is no cure! They are really pricey for two months wear.

These clogs delivered every promise made. The platform looks amazingly like wood, but they are lighter, quieter, and have a bit of give. I wear a size 7B, and the 37 was perfect; my big toe goes right up to the end. The "sand dollar" color is what I would call taupe. Best of all, these add a bit of height, but are stable as well as comfortable.

I have problem feet and tender skin, so my needs are very particular, and my chances of finding comfortable shoes is very slim. Still, I keep trying, especially as my current shoe collection is wearing out and is no longer comfortable. I have bought many Dansko shoes after visiting a specialty store where I was first introduced to a pair I will never forget. I came in with a cane and once I tried on the Danskos (they were a loafer-clog style), I did a little dance I felt so much better! Since then, I've bought many other Danskos in various styles, including sandals. Those sandals have served me well over the years, but I feel the cushioning has died, and possibly my feet have become more tender. (I have EDS, a connective tissue disorder.) The cushioning on my old Dansko sandals are exactly like for this shoe. I wanted to like these, but even after adjusting the straps a bit to fit my feet better, my pinky toes were feeling cramped or uncomfortable. I think my feet are more to blame than the shoe, as my old Danskos caused my right littlest toes to feel kind of numb for a few days. I can't take a chance on that again, unfortunately. I think these are great for normal folks, but I can't afford not to be super picky with my footwear, as I have wasted loads of money on shoes I cannot wear for one reason or another.

Shagreen black is a unique, beautiful color. Slightly iridescent finish, yet classy and understated. Very comfortable on first wearing.

I am writing this review because there aren't many here that talk about color, which I consider pretty important when ordering online. I own a pair of these that I bought at Nordstrom Rack in a shimmery blue shagreen. While the shoe is very comfortable, I feel a little self-conscious in the sparkly shoes (kind of like little girl shoes). So I decided to order the color 'champagne shimmer' hoping it had some pop, but hoping that the texture of the suede would keep the shimmer understated. It's the only color where the buckle is wrapped in same color leather, which I thought would add a uniformity to the look. Unfortunately the suede turned out to be infused with shine in a way I wouldn't think possible for suede. It looked like gold lame, and very old lady-ish. Because I really like the comfort factor and the two adjustable straps of the sandal, I decided to reorder the shoe in the color 'sand dollar.' That color is quite subdued and neutral, although it skews old-lady-beige a little bit. Also, it's got bright shiny gold buckles. I'm not sure if that makes the whole look more old lady-ish, or if the shoes would be intolerably boring without them. I think this might just be an old lady shoe and there's no getting around it. I guess I'll have to find out.

Incredibly comfortable straight from the box, no issues at all after wearing while running errands for 2+ hours. Previous posters are right about it running a little small. Normally size 41 Danskos are roomy on me, but with these my big toe goes straight to end. Able to prevent slippage by adjusting the straps but if I order again (I might, as I like them that much) I would go up a size. Don't know if they are as supportive as regular Dansko clogs b/c of the cushy insole. As for style, I wouldn't exactly call them stylish but they are relatively non-geriatric which is as much as I could hope for with my various foot problems.

I wore these shoes to Disney. I had plantar fasciitis and I fear its return. These shoes were very comfortable but I did get a blister from a top strap after about 8 hours on my feet. I'll take a blister over plantar fasciitis any day!

These were too narrow for me, but I'm sure it's not the shoe, as I have a very high arch. Oh well, they sure looked good.

This shoe is very comfortable with a cushiony sole and soft lining. I like the gray lining as it will show dirt less than the tan one on many Danskos. Like so many Danskos this was comfortable, as if custom made for me, right out of the box. The adjustable straps mean I don't have to worry about them stretching out. They stay securely on even without a heel strap. Love!

I ordered these sandals on line from Zappos at 8:00PM last night and they were on my door step at 4:00PM today! Zappos service is unreal - my husband thought the factory was next door! Anyway, these sandals are the most light weight and comfortable shoes I've had on in a long time! The arch support is excellent and I feel like I'm walking on air in these shoes!

Ratings for the sandals in general but a color issue with the latest. I have 2 pair of these Sophie sandals already. Ordered a new pair in Dusky Blue Suede. I like the blue color but there is a pattern in it that I didn't realize from the photos with some swirls of black. To me and the friend I sent a photo for an opinion it make them look dirty. Returned. I'll buy another color eventually.

I have plantar fasciitis and swear by Dansko. This is my second pair of Sophie sandals. I love this leopard print—so fun!

Cute shoes and comfy with some height. Ordered black shagreen, was a little surprised, I expected it to be black sparkly, it is definitely different, one of a kind but cute. If you want basic black go with anything, don't get this color, but if you want unique, this is your shoe color. A little narrow but buckles make for a perfect fit.

Super comfy! Loved them from day one. I am a wedding planner who will be very happy to have these on my feet all day. Big toe does seem to hug the edge a bit, but not that big of a problem to want me to have to return them.

Thank you Dansko for making an adjustable sandal! I live in my Dansko clogs and have searched high and low to find a comfortable sandal for my very narrow feet. These are the best! I might buy them in every color! I did have to size up. I usually wear a 40 and when I tried these on my big toe hung over the edge. A 41 was perfect! Love, love, love them!

I like them a lot. But I had to buy a bigger size than the last time I bought this style. I bought them because the old ones are one of my most comfortable pair of shoes.

I just spent the weekend walking all over D.C in my Sophie sandals and my feet feel fantastic. I love the sand color and the adjustable straps.

I love, love, love these shoes. I have been happy with all the Dansko sandals I have purchased. I now own three pairs. I can work all day and my feet never hurt. I wish Dansko would make some closed toe shoes that didn't look so much like nurses shoes and I would purchase them, too. As always, Zappos delivered them the next day. Zappos is the way to go.

I ordered these sandals not sure if they would feel as comfortable as I heard the regular Dansko shoes were. Well I was so impressed with how comfortable these felt and the support they gave. I now want to order the regular Dansko clogs...

Dansko has really developed a foot base that compliments every foot. I have issues with my feet, because I walk a LOT, and I have occasional neuropathy in my feet due to chemo years ago! Both these sandals, and my Dansko sneakers give my feet the support they need, and they are cute! This is my third Sophie sandal in eight years.

I love this sandal. It fits like it was made for me. I also wear the Dansko professionals daily for work - those fit slightly looser than these but just as comfortably. These are much lighter than the professionals in weight and I feel very supported - maybe better arch support than the professionals. I got the lime floral which is so, so pretty! I also got the blue floral, which I returned because I liked the lime floral better (although the blue is gorgeous and is just as shown in the picture). I also got the black shagreen which I did not like at all - it is not like a sparkly, shimmery sandal as I expected looking at the picture - it's just odd. Smooth to the touch, with kind of a black web with interspersed dots of very light neon white-green. Strange. Not for me. It also came in a box which had clearly been used, so I'm guessing the prior customer did not like them either! I may try the black shimmer instead, but will probably wait to see it in person first.
