been wearing these (authentic), and the old skool vans for years now, pair after pair.. the lite series of vans are superior to the originals in every way. it took me some convincing to give them a try, because i was really turned off by the "fake" outsole. now that im getting older, i really appreciate the insole. the pro series have the same insole, but fit my foot really sloppy. i dont give these 5 stars because they come with really crappy quality laces and they stain really easy (like the originals).. i noticed vans sells a scotch guard now to help with that, but i havnt tried it... bottom line is i will never go back to the original series as long as they continue to make these. not sure why zappos doesnt carry this shoe in a 7.5.... i had to buy them from the vans store. i prefer to do all my shoe shopping through zappos if i can help it. love the customer service

Love these! Super light weight and comfortable to walk around in for hours. Love having the look of classic vans but not the heft and weight of the originals. I wish that they came in more colors!

Wanted to love them, but too narrow. I ordered a 1/2 size up, as sometimes that strategy allows me to get by with a Medium-width shoe, but not in this case. Had to go back.

Super light. Left like wearing slippers! I wear them at the race track.

If you have ever worn Vans before these ones are true to size. One of the reasons I love Vans is I can always buy a 10.5 and know they'll fit perfect, no matter what the style. They are more supportive and comfortable than the originals. I’ve walked literally miles (I think we did close to 9 miles on vacation one day) and been fine. These lites are my go-to. This is my third pair. I was leery when buying the first set that they would wear faster than the original Authentic but with daily (and rough like camping and hiking) wear they still last me close to a year. Even after I buy a new pair, I am still able to keep the old ones for beater shoes. No holes and still some tread intact. I ride BMX and do not use these to ride in, I have a more supportive pair of shoes for that. I mostly just use these as my casual shoe and occasionally ride my motorcycle in them. The soles are fairly soft so I’d imagine they’d wear fast if you were trying to skate or ride in them. If you wear Authentics already, these are a must-have. A pair of these in the box weigh the same as a single original. I have a white pair of originals and they feel super heavy now to wear. The style is classic and hard to go wrong with. I’ll probably try to replace my white pair of originals with a white pair of these soon.

Great classic looks plus comfort if you have narrow feet. They run true to size but bit narrower than original ones. They are very light weight but do tend to wear out fast. So I wouldn’t recommend skateboarding or any other intense activity. Also the piping comes off after while as they are painted on not heat pressed like the original ones. I use permanent marker to fill in the gaps. Didn’t bother me much but thought I’d mention as others might.

I've been wearing Vans for years and love them for my slightly wide feet. I was excited to try the Ultra Lite, but they were too small! They are the same size I always order, but fit small in both length and width. I'm not sure if Vans is making their shoes a bit smaller or if the change is with my feet. I'm thankful for easy, free returns!

Great shoes, perfect comfort, true to size. The only thing i would change a bit is the shape of the front of the shoe(too elongated) and the way the white outsole goes over the top of the shoe. Overall i like them so i kept them.

Pretty comfortable, although the shape is a little different than the regular authentics. Run a bit big, not quite as big as the regulars but I would get .5 size down nonetheless. The sole is cushiony, definitely an upgrade.

I wanted to love these shoes but they fit really narrow. At first I ordered an 8 but they felt very tight. I ordered a size up and they fit fine but it also felt too narrow at the toes. These shoes are super cute and I loved how they were lightweight, but sadly, I had to return them.

I always wear a men 5.5 or woman 7 in vans, yet these were too small. I could wear them but I wouldn't be able to wear them with socks because they're too tight then.
