These are decent shoes. The sides and tongue have lots of padding. I got the black/textile and the textile material creases a bit so if you are obsessive about perfection that might bother you. I like the shoes and am considering buying them in white.

While I am more than thrilled Etnies decided to do a throwback and bring the Lo-Cut II out again, the new Lo-Cut II LS version is not quite made to the quality of its elder namesake. Anyone as familiar with the original Lo-Cut II's will remember their vastly overstuffed tongue and padding. The original exterior materials ranged from suede to leather to vinyl; however, the new LS materials are a bit cheaper looking and feeling. The new shoes are not as wide as the originals and as such will require a bit more "breaking in" to get accustomed to. The only recent competition to these would be the color combo's available from Nike's Mogan 6.0 Zooms. Some more choices wouldn't hurt. Something like the original Lo-Cut II color palette would be nice.

These are fantastic shoes. I've been an etnies fan on/off since I got my first pair of blue suede Lo-Cut II's. While there is nothing inherently wrong with these shoes, having known and loved the original suede version, I can't help but long for that pair. Etnies, I'm looking at you to release the originals, I'd buy enough pairs to shoe myself for life!

I wore them right out of the box for more than eight hours straight and walked over six miles with no issues. Everyone loved the style and asked where I bought them so I hope I get some kind of kick-back for the free advertisement, Zappos..! lol.. I'd highly recommend these and if you're thinking about buying them, just do it..

These Etnies are awesome! People love the look of them at my job and have asked where I bought them so. I should get some kick-back for free advertisement, right? ;-P They felt great right out of the box with very little break in required. I probably walked a little over 8k in steps and had no issues with them at all. I did have to retie my shoes once but that is common since I was slowly breaking them in. Hopefully I can find another pair like these in the future when I search for shoes again at a later date.

Love the shoes, they Look bad ass and are super comfortable. I did send mine back to exchange for a smaller size. I’m usually at 10.5 but I swapped to a 10.0 and they are perf.

Oh, the nostalgia. These are identical in quality and sizing to how I remember my original Lo Cut II shoes being back around 2003. The shoes do run small in sizing. I'm very consistently a 10.5 but found I needed an 11.5 with these. The 11.5 feels a hair too large but I think if I had gone with 11 they would have felt a hair too short and possibly rubbed. Overall, I'm pleased with this shoe and plan to make it my new main pair of shoes. They look great.
