This sandal fit in the width but I feel it ran small as I normally wear a 5.5-6. The arch provided a lot of support and the heel felt good but the sole was too thin in the toe area and did not provide enough support for my toes.

I have been pleased with two pairs of Chaco flip flops since 2010. They are incredibly resilient and last for a long time. Still, eventually, they do wear out, and I'm needing a new pair. Sadly, the last two orders have been so different in size! The strap between the toes now is much larger, making the flips not fit now. Please bring back the other flips!

Maybe these flip flops are unisex sized? I didn't think so, but they fit like they were made for a male foot. So, they are being returned.

As others have mentioned, this flip is not the Chaco flip of yore. It has thinner, flimsier webbing which is a lot looser in fit than previous chacos. I only bought because my 12 year old pair finally fell apart. I like the look of the new ones, but they can’t compare to the fit of the old style.

This is my fourth pair of Chacos. I ordered my regular size but the shoes are too big. I will order a size down if I buy them again.

I like these Chaco flip flops pretty well. I read other reviews before purchasing that said these flip flops have changed. I was hoping that was not the case for me but it is true. They are different than the pair I bought about 2 years ago. The straps are looser and the part of the shoe my foot sits on is now a slippery type material which are both big negatives for me. I kept the shoes knowing of these problems because I like my other ones so well but they have changed and I will not buy them again.

Same as old flips ut the straps are so much longer than flop all over and the arch moves here to there. Also the strap between the toes is very stiff. I know it takes some breaking in but it would cause a good blister in the process. To bad, they are a really nice shape and texture. I think I'll go with the OluKai Ohana W pair I bought at the same time and send these back. Was thinking of going a size smaller, but not sure.

I have heard such good things about Chacos that I wanted to try them. I couldn't walk in them because they were so wide. My feet came out of them. I'm very disappointed.

As much as I wanted these to fit they were too wide for my narrow foot. I love my adjustable Chacos and really wish I could have made these more snug on my narrow foot.

Love Chaco's - SO much support. But these are super thin and the straps are way too lose. Cancels out the support that is there.

I really wanted these to work! I have the Chaco Z1 in wide and they do fit, however these just run to narrow, even with what is listed as "wide". If Chaco ever makes these in a truly wide size, I'll gladly buy again.

I was hoping to replace a very old pair of chaco's that has shown ware. The same model, same size, different color. These new chacos are the correct foot length, but the fit is sloppy. I'm sliding all over. I don't have narrow, or wide feet, just average. Huge disappointment. They are going back

Too small for me. I ordered size 9w even tho I don't wear wide shoes. They didn't fit the upper part of my foot. These will be returned. Disappointed. I really want a pair of Chacos.

Too short and too narrow, even though I ordered my usual size. I was looking for a substitute for the Montrail Molokini--big disappointment. They are going back ASAP.

I was really hopeful that I had found a replacement for my Orthaheel sandals that are not being made anymore, so was really disappointed with this sandal. I need a high arch support and this shoe was so narrow and small I couldn't tell if it had support or not.

These have OK support (similar to a pair of OluKais I recently purchased), but the footbed is SO heavy & clunky that I had to send them back -- they felt like they were falling off my foot as I walked around. I liked the textured footbed material better than my OluKais, but in the end, I just don't think I can deal with that heavy of a flip flop!

Yes, it's true this flip flop has more support than most others do, but that doesn't mean it feels solid. It's fine on sand, probably much better than other brands, but standing on any hard floor for more than five minutes makes my arches ache. Flip flops are flimsy, period. No matter how much you try to add support, they're still a foot surgeon's dream.

These had great arch support but were too narrow, especially in the mid sole for my wide feet (EE including bunions). They are more like a D width. Make sure you get the right size so the arch support hits the correct part if your foot. They are well-built, heavier than average because they're Chacos, and look like they'd last a long time.

I second everyone's comments about the straps now being too large. I have had a pair of the EcoTread for at least four years and the old strap was a much better fit (and I have wide feet). I feel bad returning the shoes because this will be my third try (my size was originally not in stock). I have also had the Flip Vibe. The soles on those didn't hold up as long as my EcoTreads. Hopefully my old Chacos will hold up for the time being because I really love them.

I bought these shoes over a year ago, and it's only now, after numerous failed attempts, that I have finally trained myself to wear them. The arch is so high that it exaggerates my natural tendency to supinate, or walk on the outside of my foot. When I wear the Chacos, they actually throw me off balance and my foot tends to slide even more towards the outside edge of the shoe. The shoe is well-made, and the arch support is excellent: almost too good, if that makes any sense. And to be fair, Chaco does NOT advertise that their shoes are good for those of us rare creatures who supinate rather than pronate. In fact, I can't find any shoe made especially for us. So it is not Chaco's fault that the shoe doesn't work for me. I was just desperate to find a flip flop with excellent arch support, since my orthopedic surgeon insists that I need to wear backless shoes, due to severe Achilles tendinopathy, but ones that are approved by the American Podiatry Association, as these Chacos are. And I got them at a great sale price, too! The Chaco is true to size, but it just barely fits my foot, both in length and width. [I have a slightly-wider-than-average toe box.] The textured footbed is a bit uncomfortable, but you can get used to it. The straps on the Chaco are also tight: not too tight, but after wearing the shoes for a few hours, the straps seem to make normal end-of-the-day foot swelling a bit worse, and they become uncomfortable for me. But again, the straps may feel tight to me because of my extremely high arches and wide forefoot. So for those of you with high arches who pronate, with feet that are normal to narrow in width, these would be a good choice if you need firm arch support. But I have gravitated towards Olukai Ohanas for my supination instead.

I have Plantar fasciitis and a very painful heel spur on the bottom of my heel. A doctor and friends recommended this brand. I wear a 9m in everything. This shoe was too narrow. It also had so much tread o the foot bed that it wasn't comfortable on the soles of my foot. The strap between the toes is made of canvas and is very thick. I have ordered a few other styles of Chacos in a wide with hoping they will fit because the arch support is really good. Remember, length is very accurate but this is a narrow flip flop. Also heavy! Good luck!

So bummed! I was really looking forward to these - cute color, great price! My old pair in pink is like 6 years old now and I wear them everywhere, have washed them many times and well, definitely needed replacing. But the straps are bigger or longer or something on these, which makes that horrible flap flap flap sound when you walk. I put my old ones on to see if I was just crazy but sure enough - the old ones are tighter (even after all these years and washings) and don't make that annoying sound. Again really bummed.
