I got these for such an AWESOME price that I bought two pairs; one in a size 8 and one in a size 10. I typically wear a size 6/8 and never wear a 10. In the store, the 8 was to tight on my butt and very fitted through the thighs. The 10 fit perfectly. As I thought would/could be the case, the shorts stretched out after wearing them for about an hour or two; The 8 fit me perfectly and the 10 was too big. The shorts are 68% cotton, 29% nylon, and 3% spandex; this blend is extremely comfortable. I'm online looking for other colors.

Love these shorts. They're my favorites for travels. Lots of pockets, and the cargo pockets let you carry your cell phone and wallet securely, because of the snap. They do fit snugly. The actual waist measurement on a size 4 is 28 inches. That's a good thing to know!

True to size. A lot of reviewers said to order up, they run small. I did not find that to be the case. My usual size fit perfectly. The one I ordered a size larger I had to return, which Zappos makes so easy. Thank you! These are absolutely great shorts.

The shorts run a little bit tight. I'm about 5'5" and 135 lbs. The size 8 is good everywhere but a little tight in the hips. The "baltik" color doesn't look anything like what's on my screen. It's more green than aqua.

These are cute, but I notice this brand for me runs smaller than other brands. They are a cute style, nice length and the sky blue color is pretty.

I'm glad I took others' advice and purchased these shorts in one size larger than my usual. They fit great on my curvy figure, and still feel lightweight and comfortable, despite the fact that they are predominantly cotton. The side pocket also perfectly fits my iPhone 6. Please add more colors!

Wish they had other colors in stock. Now I know why they don't. Solid construction. Nice fabric, good fit.

I love these shorts. I am an older active (55) woman. Based on the other reviews I did order up way up, I usually wear a six or eight but I ordered a ten in these (5'6", 138 lbs). I should have stayed with an eight - that would have given me plenty of room, as it is they are large on me but I just went through surgery so the extra room was okay, but if I reordered I would go down to the eight. So if you are in between, I would consider going up some. They are low waisted, but I appreciate the length. I wish I could get more colors, maybe if they go on sale? I have a lot of Kuhl shorts and I love them all. Although knowing what size to get is sometimes tricky.

Love these shorts. I bought them in all colors. They run a little trim in the thigh and hip but that is where I carry most of my weight. Ordered the 8 and 10, ended up keeping the 10's. The length is perfect, and the fit is flattering. Not crazy about the odd snap, and it is a little hard to open, but they are right and it doesn't dig into your waist. Shorts seem well made and the fabric is nice. Traveling to Italy and Venezuela this year and will see how well they hold up.

Very nice. Not too large around the leg. Good length. Ordered 1 size up. Usually need 8 and 10 fits perfectly. Also bought the Granit.

Ordered a size 8 but they are more like a 4, could not even begin to get them on! I love Kuhl, so will order a bigger size and hope for the best.

These are great shorts. I ordered a size up as others suggested and they are a bit roomy, but in a good way. I'm 5'10", 165 lbs with long legs and wide-ish hips and the 14 fit great. Fit like a size 10 in Duluth pants, 12 in Eddie Bauer and 14 in Patagonia.

I am 5'3" and they hit above the knee. They are very comfy. I usually go up a size. The pockets are fantastic. The visible white stitching makes them sporty and casual. Great for travel. The are not too thin and not bulky. The perfect short to wear with a shirt tucked in or left out. Enjoy.llas

The most comfortable and awesome shorts I've ever owned. I've never spent this much on a pair of shorts before, but they were totally worth it!

Nice fit, good fabric. A little heavy feeling but they have a lot of stretch to them. Love all clothing from Kuhl

Great short...liked them so much I've ordered another pair in a different color. Just sad that they sold out of black before I could buy 2 pair. They wash great...packable...can't say enough.

I love these shorts! If they're not in the laundry, they're on my body this summer. The slight amount of stretch makes them very comfortable. Great for hiking and good looking enough to wear out to dinner (at least here in Vermont).

These fit beautifully and are super comfortable. I purchased them for a Disney world trip thinking they would also dry quickly in the humidity and after water rides. Unfortunately they did not dry like I had hoped but they are still very comfortable shorts.

Love these shorts. I find the Kuhl brand runs small, so I ordered a size up and they worked great. Comfortable, lightweight and good looking.

Love these Kuhl hiking shorts. Great fit and perfect length and weight for hot summer Texas hikes! You can't go wrong with Kuhl for summer hikes.

These are great quality. I went up one size for a better fit in the hips though I will need to get the waist taken in, but I think they are worth that expense. Waiting for my size in another color!

I have narrow hips and pants and these pants fit perfectly. Love the fabric; it has a nice give. Shadow is a perfect all around color.

I was looking for comfortable, casual shorts, and these are perfect. True to size, and really comfortable to wear.
