This is my third pair of Ecco golf shoes. I got them for the more “traditional” golf shoe look than my previous two pair, which were the original ‘Fred Couples’ style. I notice that Fred is wearing the Bioms now, too. These are great, but different from the earlier version. More support and better cushioned. But I have small feet and usually take a 7 or 7.5. In Ecco, I take size 40, which they say is for U.S. size 6-6.5 and they are fine.

After only one round it's too early for a fair review of these Ecco Biom Golf Hybrid shoes but I'll give you my first impression anyway. The Good: This is a well made shoe which I happen to think is attractive as well. The shoes come with an extra pair of laces which I think is pretty cool; black ones, which I opted for over the red ones that were already in the shoes. This is a very stable shoe which fits my narrowish foot pretty well. The outsole cleats/spikes gripped securely enough and appear to be made from a rather hard plastic material that I would guess is very durable. The midfoot and heel are just snug enough for me. The best feature for me is the roomy toe box. I like that my toes have plenty of room to spread. Nope, no more pointy toed golf shoes for me! This design reminds me a bit of a Keen shoe, a brand that I happen to love. The Not So Good: It's not as comfortable as I had hoped and certainly not Keen (Austin) comfortable. (Keen, please start making golf shoes!). I encountered one recurring hot spot during the round (near the top of the tongue) and found myself fiddling with the pressure of the laces several times. Perhaps I needed a thicker pair of socks as I was wearing a pretty threadbare pair of wicking running socks. By the way, this is my first non-traditional golf shoe and I was hoping for something that felt a little softer and sneaker like. To me, these don't feel like a sneaker. Also the insole's arch contour feels a bit too far forward, meaning they don't quite line up with my high arch. This is an easy enough fix though by just replacing it with another high quality insole. Yes, I said "another" because the insole that comes with the shoe is a very high quality one; it just doesn't happen to work for me. As I said, I've only had these on for one round of golf and that was not a walking round (which by the way was the primary purpose for splurging on these rather expensive shoes) so I'll write another review in a month or so...after they break in.

I wear and continue to wear traditional (Adidas Adipure) golf shoes--especially in wet conditions. These ECCO shoes are great--very snug fit, light and are very stable--overall a comfortable and reliable pair of golf shoes! This style is very good to wear in the warmer/dryer months of golf season--Granted, the price of these shoes are little high--but I believe that comfort and stability is equally important as having a driver that hits straight! I highly recommend!

Sure, these are pricey golf shoes. No argument there. But you got to consider the quality you're getting. The biom technology is so sweet on my feet, round after round. I end up wearing these with jeans or chinos just out cruising or to work because they look so good. Get tons of, "hey I love your shoes." You can't beat that. Save up and give these a go. They'll instantly become your favorite pair of shoes.

I love it when shoes look great and feel even better, so I am definitely in love with these shoes. Just wore them for a round of golf last night. Got to the end of the round and realized that my feet felt great and I never thought about my shoes, other than when someone asked about them. The Yak leather is super soft, almost like deerskin, but appears to be very durable. The fit of these shoes in phenomenal! Snug yet comfortable right out of the box.

I said I would follow up so here's a brief one. After walking 108 holes in these over a 6 week period I can honestly say these are wonderful shoes. Having said that, they are not running shoe comfortable but that reasonably can't be expected since running shoe can in no way replicate this kind of stable swing platform. I did get a heel blister on my left foot after the first 18 and it was a rather painful one at that but after a few days I was back out walking in them and they felt fairly broken-in and overall really nice. In fact I never even thought about my feet after that. As for recommended improvements to this shoe, I do believe the shoe would be more comfortable with a bit more padding in the collar. It's pretty sparse actually. All in all these shoes are superb and especially nice for walking since they fit snuggly yet provide wiggle room in the toe box and provide a stable platform to boot.

Incredibly comfortable! Note on sizes: 44 is more like 10-1/2 and 45 is more like 11-1/2. I was wearing Nike 11 but needed the 44. If you walk 18 holes, buy these shoes!

I find that Ecco shoes run large. I wear a 11 but the 44 fits better than the 45 (ordered both and returned the 45). The shoes are great, most comfortable golf shoe I have ever worn. Played 3 rounds in them and feet feel great afterwords. Plus no concerns with sole provide good traction. Will buy another pair in white/brick as soon as come available in my size.

Comfortable and well-made golf shoe, great for walkers. Yak hide is very soft. Comes with both red and white laces. I switched to white after someone characterized them as "clown shoes." They do look wider and more athletic than typical golf shoes, but what the heck, if they feel good.

Awesome shoe. Very comfortable, lots of arch support and a pretty good grip for spikeless shoes. If you walk, it's worth the price.

There are a lot of positive reviews of this shoe--one reason I bought them--but I'll bring a little coal to Newcastle anyway. I think these shoes weigh literally half as much as the old pair of top-of-the-line Adidas shoes I've been wearing. I'm 61 and like to walk when I play. In the South Carolina summer heat, the weight savings makes a big difference. The arch support seemed to be positioned a bit further forward than I'm used to, closer to the ball of the foot. It felt weird initially but after wearing the shoes for a short time I was no longer aware of it. I was skeptical of the spike design but the shoes seem to grip well. I can't vouch for wet-weather performance. I'm not sure I'll use these for really wet days but I'd treat them with a good water repellent like NikWax whether you play with them in the rain or not.

I golf three or more times weekly, walk, and carry my clubs. This is my third pair of the Biom hybrids; they are probably they are the most comfortable golf shoes I have worn. You can wear them out of the box with no break-in although the get softer with more wear. The darker colors clean easily and look great; white color requires more care. They do get a little slippery in really wet conditions, but no problem in a bit of rain. I have worn Ecco shoes for over 25 years because they fit my feet well and are usually very comfortable. The Biom hybrids are no exception.

These are a great shoe out of the box. Comfortable walking 18 holes the first day I wore them. No issues with keeping your feet dry either.

Best golf shoe I have ever had. Would like to wear them all day. Wish they made the same shoe without the spikes so I could.

I wore these right out of the box for 3 days of golf. Feet felt great after every round. I have had ECCO's before and I thought the Biom's fit a little truer to size. The mahogany color is a little reddish if you are looking at that color. Great golf shoe.

I have two pair of Ecco Biom street shoes and I love the comfort and looks of those shoes and this golf shoe is no exception. This is a shoe that I will stay with. It is important to know that all these shoes run large and I get one size smaller and that works great. My review is for the one size smaller that I actually got.

I've walked about 70 rounds in my Bioms over two seasons. They're holding up well and keep my feet dry in the morning dew. Avoid the temptation to wear them on paved or concrete surfaces they'll give you many years of service. The nubs on the soles have worn in the heel strike area because I was careless with them at first. Therein lies the problem. They're so comfy that you'll want to leave them on after the round. It was hard for me to justify the cost, but I have no regrets. When the time comes I'll buy another pair.

I bought a white pair last year. These are the most comfortable golf shoes that I have owned in 30 years. I liked them so well, that I purchased a black pair this year. I have also owned four pairs of Ecco dress shoes that have held up well for eight years with almost daily wear. They are nice and wide across the toe area. They may have too much arch support for some.

I am an avid golfer and play 50 rounds per year. These are the most comfortable golf shoes that I have ever worn. I wish that they would still offer the white color. The new Biom edition is a more snug fit and is not as comfortable.

Ecco golf shoes are the most comfortable golf shoes I have ever found. They wear well, hold up to the elements well and give your feet all the support and comfort they need for 18 holes or even more.

Love these shoes. They have great support, very comfortable and look good. I read others reviews about sizing. I'm glad I did because they would have been a little tight. I went a half over what a normally get and they fit like a glove. Would highly recommend. They are not cheap, but then again, you get what you pay for.

A quality shoe. Felt great from the moment I put it on. There is no breaking in of this shoe. If you are a walker on the course, this is a must have shoe.

These are the most comfortable golf shoes that I have ever owned. I walk the course for most of my rounds and have had trouble with other shoes (Adidas, FJ, Mizuno). Most lack support, especially walking down hills and side hills (you will know what I mean if you walk a lot). These shoes have great support and fit like a glove.
