Finally, a boot that fits my wide, wide feet. In the past two years I've tried Asolo in wide and Timberland in wide. Both pinched my toes to the point of being numb and swollen. Keen has a wide toe box, giving them room to breath. There was no break in time for these at all. I wore them every day for a few weeks, then took them on a week long camping trip including a 12 mile backpacking trip. I didn't get a single blister or even a hot spot. The trail was rocky and difficult at times, but these boots felt sturdy and performed beautifully. I tried on some of Keen's hiking boots, but only their utility boots come in wide so that's what I went with. I've resisted Keens for so long because I think the rubber toe looks a little silly, but these boots impressed me so much that I'm going to look in to some of their more casual sneakers as well.

I was in the market for waterproof shoes for this winter (for work, shoveling snow, and even fatbike snow biking). Every pair of shoes that I tried on from Keen that had the "Keen Dry" feature was just too small for me (I wear a size 13), and none of the stores carried a size 14 for me to try. I then read the reviews on this shoe and found that a lot of people felt the shoes were a bit larger feeling so I thought what the heck. I ordered a size 13 and they fit amazingly! They feel about half a size larger in length and just a tad wider then the standard Keen shoe, which I appreciated because I was going to be wearing thicker socks. Now for comfort. These feel like Keens, except they are more sure footed then any other Keens that I have owned (and I have four different pairs). There comfortable right out of the box and can take a 10 hour day without leaving your feet sore. They get a five on comfort, support and sure footedness. One feature that I thought was cool, was the anti-static sole. I work in computers, so this is a huge plus. Now I still wear my ESD strap and such, but it cool to know that there less likely to generate ESD then my other shoes. I bet you will not read many reviews on shoe laces. The shoe laces on these shoes are absolutely amazing! They have a ridged or raised area running down the lace that prevents them from coming loose. There still soft and easy to tie, but with that ridge in them, they hold more securely. I have typed enough, but you get the point. I am 100 percent satisfied with the shoes and with Zappos. If you need shoes that are waterproof, breath really well, have a nice broken in feel, and will allow you to stand and work all day in them while still looking cool, then these bad boys are the ticket. Enjoy!

Recently bought these as gift for my son, an FBI agent in a large city. He loves these shoes, says they are extremely comfortable and fit his size 13 foot with room for a good pair of socks. Thanks.

I ordered a 9 wide ee - way too wide. They also were Bright exactly like the picture so I was very happy with color. I exchanged for a 9 Medium very comfortable "roomy size 9". The color though was a darker green. I exchanged to get brighter green; got the darker green again. No biggie, service excellent!

First of all, they look great but a word of warning the olive is pretty bright. Secondly, they seem to run narrower than the other Keens that I own. Even though I have wide feet, the standard width Keens have always fit really well -one of the reasons I keep coming back to Keens. However, with these shoes I needed to return the standard width model and go with the wide model. Zappos was amazing as always.

These took sometime to break in,I got the wide, but they are only a little wider then regular, so if you need a true EE these will be to narrow. Also I only gave them a four star rating because they are not waterproof. They are very water resistance, but in a 20 minute downpour they will soak through! For small puddles and light rain you will be okay, but in all day wet conditions you are going to have wet feet.

Style and ruggedness are excellent. Interior comfort is good, although it seems a little bigger/clunkier in the toe area than necessary. Also, I had to return and get half size smaller. I do the like the shoe, overall.

I got these boots for my husband, who works in a warehouse. He is crazy about them. They are more rugged than the sneakers he was wearing.

These are great shoes...my 3rd pair. However....looks likes they being discontinued. So, this is a great price for these shoes. I don’t think the picture matches the true color...they are not THAT green. I wear nothing but Keen shoes.

These are the best shoes for my husband. He has wide feet with a high instep and a rather low arch. These fit like a dream. He likes the wrapped toe as he is on his knees a good amount of time as a stair contractor. They last a good long time, so has a good return on money spent. They are light weight so don't add to leg and foot fatigue. A perfect shoe for all day work.

My husband just love these shoes. It is his second pair. He has back issues and he needs shoes that can provide lots of support. For sure I would definitely recommend it.

I have always been satified with Keen products and this pair is no exception. Have worn them for about 2 months doing automotive repair and still comfortable at the end of the day.

These shoes are great. I suffer from regular foot fatigue while being on the job 15 hours a day at times (outdoor terrain and indoor warehouses). I need a shoe that is sturdy and supportive, but cushioned enough to provide my heel some relief. This shoe does all that. Unfortunately, it's a bit wider at the toe than I anticipated. I am a regular Keen wearer and have wide feet... But these are wide, even for the brand. While very comfortable despite the wideness...I can see, if it were a half size smaller, how it would well wrap my foot for even more support. I didn't exchange them because a pair of thicker socks does the trick.

I have had two of these in the full boot model; this is the first for the low esd. I think I can make it work but at first I am experiencing some slippage at the heel.

First let me say that I have hard-to-fit feet. My feet are about a size 14.5 with a wide toe area with a width of size 3E (or 4E with lightly padded hiker socks on) and a heel that is narrow in comparison to my toe area. My feet are shaped like swimming flippers. Needless to say it is hard to find shoes that fit. Along come Keen sandals and shoes with their WIDE toe box. It has been my experience that Keen's width stated as "regular" or "D" or "medium" is really a "EE" when compared to other shoe manufacturers. When I first read the width of the "Keen Utility Detroit Soft Toe" (SKU: #7886489 ) as "EE" I thought it was a either a typo or that Keen had finally realized that their "regular", "D" or "medium" width was really "EE". I decided to take a chance (not really a chance with Zappos' excellent FREE shipping and Free return shipping) and order Keen Utility Detroit Soft Toe in 15 EE. I have been pleasantly surprised that these 15 EE fit more like a 15 4E shoe. I have worn these shoes for a few days, on very short hikes in the mountains. These shoes are comfortable, but I can not attest to their durability yet. (I am not interested in the ESD aspect of these shoes. So I can not attest to the ESD feature of these shoes.) A word of caution when ordering other Keen "Utility" shoes: I thought I was ordering another pair of these shoes in a different color when I ordered the "Keen Utility Detroit" (SKU: #7886485) in the same 15 EE size. However when I received the shoes and tried them on they felt more like Keen's size 14 D. I looked back into the detailed description of these shoes and found that they have a steel toe. (Keen really should put "steel toe" in the title / name of the shoe because it affects the size of their shoes. I have found that Keen does NOT adjust their shoe sizes for added fabric, water proofing, steel toe or safety toe shoes.) So I sent these shoes back to Zappos using their FANTASTIC free return shipping.

Love these, I have finally found shoes that fit and don't squeeze my foot. I have short but wide feet and finding shoes that are comfortable is somewhat tough. Keen has a great shoe. Initially they felt a bit to wide but once I broke them in they felt great.

I ordered this shoe in my normal size, and it was too large. Went a half size down, and it fits well. I might be able to go down another half size but am afraid that would be too tight. Great shoe, though. I love it. It's comfortable and rugged. I recommend it highly. I have Keen sandals, Keen steel toed boots, and these. As an 11.5 to 12 EE shoe guy, these Keens can't be beat.

I've purchased 7 pairs of these so far for our employees. They've all said they are the most comfortable ESD shoes that they've worn. Other color options for the soft toe would nice.

I purchased these for my son. He uses them for work in repairing atv's and lawn mowers. Because he gets up and down on concrete all day, he finds these work better than a steel toed boot. All day comfort is what they provide.
