Great looking and very light weight, but no cushioning in the ball of the shoe. I'll wear them for errands etc but not for step aerobics at the gym!

This is my new favorite shoe! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis that is affecting the joints in my toes now, but I still need to stay active. This shoe is very comfortable while providing support where needed. It's not heavy, and it 'breathes'. I bought this shoe for Zumba and liked it so much that I have since purchased another pair of Ryka shoes (Assist XT2) for other (daily) activities.

Too much arch support for my flat feet. I'll have to find another style, but I still love Ryka shoes.

I love these shoes! I attend a jazzercize class daily and the support these shoes give me is amazing. They are very comfortable with great cushion support in the arch area. I never felt like I had new shoes on or that I needed to break them in. I highly recommend these shoes for aerobic activity.

I have a wide foot and these fit great with plenty of room. Took a couple of zumba classes to get used to them but they are comfortable and lightweight.

After reading a lot of reviews on the best sneakers for Zumba Fitness, I decided to go with the Ryka Transpire. It did not disappoint! It's affordable, love the style and most importantly, it's very comfortable. It gave the perfect amount of support for my feet.

Love these shoes! Thought I would miss my the higher tops that I am used to, but the stability in the arch is amazing! Love Jazzercising in these new shoes!

Love these! I do a wide variety of exercise activities and these provide great support for all. Plus the blue with lime color is just fun to wear.

Purchased as a gift for my wife, so I cannot comment much yet. But, I can tell you that these are not only practical for X-Training but stylish (Metallic Blue). They are true to size, she is an 8.5 and by error I purchased 8, so they were too exact to the tip of her toe. 8.5 will fit perfectly. Zappos CS is great! They will exchange, free shipping, and they took care of everything via Live Chat. All I need to do is attach the provided return label, and take them to the Post Office or give the package to the mailman.

I've never had cross-training shoes, just running shoes. But I needed shoes for Zumba classes, and these seem to work just fine for that. They are a little less structured than running shoes.

Size was exact, shoe is super-comfortable, and shoes look nice. However, lines on side separated from shoe within 1 week of use.

I love these shoes! I use them for jazzercise and they provide plenty of arch support. I don't need my orthotics and I can wear them all day without aching feet!

I never write reviews but I felt compelled to because for so long I have been searching for good Zumba/dance shoes. I began Zumba four years ago and wore Adidas because I was a footwear and apparel sales representative for the company, although I did not mind the shoes I was constantly seeking something better with more lateral support. I searched high and low for the past four years. While I was with Adidas I had to wear that brand, when I left I was so excited to try other brands especially Nike. But to my utter disappointment nothing worked, Nikes were the worst because the toe box is so big my foot was everywhere and I got blisters (both Lunar and Free) I tried Asics but that was too much cushion, Reebok was not good at all and I could go on and on. I am very particular about my dance/Zumba shoes, I am looking for: comfort, lightweight, no distractions, some cushion, lateral support and hopefully stylish. Ryka's Transpire is all of these and more! Sometimes I look in the mirror just because I love what they look like. I never thought I would say that about Ryka as I hate to admit it but I am sort of a label person when it comes to certain things, tennis shoes being one. I actually like wearing Ryka because it is different, but more than anything else I never get distracted and they are so lightweight that I do not even realize I have shoes on. Honestly I am so thrilled by these and having been in the sporting goods industry over nine years selling footwear I can tell you with no bias these are hands down the best Zumba shoes that I have ever owned. I want more! I feel like I need to be a brand ambassador for the brand because you do not see this brand a lot of places and salespeople usually have no clue on what to recommend for Zumba at least in my experience so I hope this was helpful to people who struggled like me trying to find a great pair of Zumba/dance shoes... These are the ones!

Looking for a Zumba shoe with good arch support and coushing on forefoot. This shoe felt like it had no support at all. Why can't Ryka put some padding in the forefoot of their shoes! I'm returning them ASAP.

This shoe fits perfectly. I did place my arch supports in them and was able to wear them during my exercise class with comfort. The only real complaint I have and that's small is the shoe strings are too short. That's an easy fix, however.

I had the same experience as one of the other reviewers, that is that the decorative "racing stripes" details did not stay adhered to the mesh uppers after wearing them for aerobics for about a month. They broke down more quickly than any other training shoes I have used. I really liked them while they lasted, but did not think I got my money's worth, which was surprising to me, since I think Ryka usually makes fantastic shoes. There is a design flaw here, and I would not buy them again.

I love these shoes. They feel great and I love the color combination. I got the one they call metallic twilight blue I think. I'm not a runner so I don't know how the shoes would be for that, but I do go workout regularly and for that these shoes are great. Cute and comfy!

Love these shoes. They feel like I am wearing nothing. Very lightweight but good support for kickboxing and step classes. Great for just wearing everyday too.

I bought these shoes for Zumba class. My feet are probably a C width. There was enough room for my orthotic and some medium weight socks. They are light and flexible with adequate arch support for me. I have plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis.
