I love these shorts! I wear them as shorts not as a base underneath other shorts. They are very short but that's why I like them. The waistband and leg openings are perfect and don't dig into my skin and create muffin tops; super comfortable. I have the black and they are not see-through but I did order (and return) the siren red ones because they were see-through. The lighter colors would be best underneath a pair of shorts since you can see your undies through them. They didn't ride up too much while working out...just a little every now and then but it wasn't excessive. Anyway, they were so great that after working out I just wanted to lounge around in them all day! I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs and I bought the size Small.

These are excellent shorts for underneath workout tights/pants or running shorts. They do not dig into the waist. They are very light, yet supportive. They are comfortable.

I wanted to love these shorts. Great variety of colors but I've had it up to here with Nike tags. Or I should say with their tagless naming. I wear compression shorts in a size larger as outerwear instead of as a base layer. The paint that they use to press the name and fabric content is so thick that when you wear it, it buckles up and looks like you have cottage cheese on that small section of your butt. Some may say that compression underwear shouldn't be used as outwear but a lot of people do it. Very upset as I'm a Nike dri fit girl.

Love these shorts! Really comfortable waist band and the shorts do not ride up. They keep me nice and dry on my long summer runs.

I love these shorts. I got them for Muay Thai training. I wear them underneath my other shorts so the boys in my class can't get a peek. I also wear them running though it might be better to get the 5' ones because they do tend to roll up from all the movement. I am about 5'2 at 105 lbs and I got the XS.

I love these spandex. They're really comfy and don't make you feel like you're squeezed into them or dig into your leg. The colors are fantastic and very cute!

I love the Nike Pro compression shorts. By far the best compression shorts I've ever found. They fit comfortably and don't dig into your skin like a lot of other kinds do. I wear them to workout and lazy days around the house. They hold up fairly well if you get the right size. To be on the safe side, I would order a size up so they aren't too tight and wear out prematurely.

These are comfortable and seem to be true to size. I thought they might make my thighs bulge out on the bottom, but they don't. They don't ride up, either.

These are comfortable, but do move up when I run. They are not TOO short, but since they do go up higher on the legs, I feel like I'm getting a better tan when I run.

I own multiple. I also bought a pair of black PrAna 3 inch shorts, and ended up favoring the Nike. Although the material isn't quite as thick as PrAna, there is an extra seam in the back that seems to keep them from stretching out and riding up as much. I mean, don't get me wrong - they are spandex, and they do ride up a little. But I wear them to rock climbing, which involves a lot of technical and dynamic movement, and I am their biggest fan. I am 5'7 at 110 lbs. with the tiniest chicken legs ever, and they still stay put pretty well. I wear an XS, so they are true to size. The elastic strap is also flattering - not too tight, but enough to flatten.

I order everything now from Zappos and everytime they still amaze me on their service. I needed these for my daughter by the weekend and it took them less than 24 hours and I had it in my hands. Great quality merchandise at a lower cost and no shipping costs. I haven't been to a store to shop for a long time. Zappos is where I go and where I am satisfied 100%. No other place gives you this kind of commitment to servicing what you need and when you need it. As far as the compression shorts, AWESOME! Will buy more and ONLY from Zappos! You've really went above and beyond satisfying your customer!

It's frustrating when there aren't any extra small sizes. I realize they're hard to find, but you would have a lot more people buying extra small sizes.

Great comfortable shorts. They are quite soft and adjust perfectly to the body. True to size so don't order a size bigger because you think it is going to be too tight (it happened to me).

Love these shorts! Great length for yoga or other exercise. Super comfortable - does not dig in to your hips. A bit revealing if you are on the more modest side. I have multiple pairs!

I absolutely love Nike pros. I am an allstar cheerleader and I wear these to practice and always feel so comfortable. They definitely do show underwear lines, so I would recommend getting some sort of underwear that is meant to be smooth. Overall though, they are awesome.

I love the Nike Pro 2.5 to death. I wear them under my soccer shorts and they do not rise up! The waist is not too tight that it gives you a muffin top. They are perfect. The grey ones do give you a cameltoe. And it is noticeable but you just have to pull them down every once in a while but the other one are not like that.

These are great spandex I wear them for games and I am on high school volleyball team and we needed black. I tend to lean toward Nike products always and I wasn't let down in anyway. These are pretty much as good as it gets; also they do not show sweat.

My 13 year daughter loves these shorts and lives in them. She wears them under her school uniform skirt by day and then just the shorts after school. She also likes to wears them under sweats when traveling since they are so comfortable and act as a second outfit if it gets hot. Multiple washing and dries - fit is as good as new.

Now that I've bought Nike pros I refuse to buy any other spandex! Nothing else compares! If you're a serious runner I suggest the 5 inch shorts or 18 inch capris. The 2.5 are absolutely fantastic for an under layer (I wear them under dresses) and for lounging around. They fit to my body so well and that is not something that's easy to do! I will never buy another brand of spandex, they are worth every penny!

These shorts are awesome! Very comfortable and flattering. They don't cut in on your leg like so many other shorts and the seams on the bum make it look amazing!

I'm 5'3", 135lb, and the Medium is the perfect fit. I already raved about these on the 5" inseam short page, so I'll put it briefly here: these are the most comfortable and legit base layer shorts ever. They don't cut in, feel perfect in that they "contain" everything, but don't constrict; the waistband doesn't cut in; the black and gray colors are NOT see-through; these can be worn as a base layer/underwear under other athletic shorts (or even dresses in the summer), or with a sports thong if worn as a main layer; they wick moisture like a moisture-wicking pro; they don't ride up; the colors are fabulous; they *are* $25, but are worth every last penny. Re another reviewer's comment, I didn't have any issues with the garment tag, and in fact didn't notice or feel it at all. I possibly love these shorts a little too much.

I wear these under shorts for high-impact exercise, like running. They are great for cutting down on unwanted bouncing, and for some extra coverage under running shorts. The tag in the back can feel a bit uncomfortable, but it's easily solved by cutting it out or folding the pants over.
