I love these shoes. They are not my first pair of barefoot shoes but for daily wear they are my current favorites. Cute, comfortable, and sturdier than they look. I wore them at a beer festival where I was on my feet for several hours and came away with no foot or lower back pain; the only other shoes that have even come close to giving me that kind of comfort are my Danskos. I ticked "no arch support" because they aren't supposed to have any, not because I think it's lacking. After three weeks of almost daily wear, my feet already feel stronger and are less prone to cramping. If you haven't worn barefoot shoes before, be prepared for a period of adjustment. If you have and you need a cute pair of shoes, these are just the ticket.

Love these shoes. Diagonal strap and styling are very cute. Very comfortable. Easy to slip on and off, but once on, they don't slip around on your feet. They are flat, without a lot of padding, but that's what I like. I wear them outside and around the house, and it feels like I'm in bare feet with protection. My feet are wider at the toes and skinnier at the heel, and the shoes fit perfectly. Like a glove!

Love this shoe! Matches my athletic/girly style, and doesn't hurt like a ballet flat. (ballets always pinch my toes, let my heel fly out the back, and make me walk flatfooted -- ugh!). I have done some dance, and I like how this shoe lets me step like a dancer! I got the periwinkle blue color, and it was as expected from online photos. Sizing: I normally wear between a 6.5 and a 7, and the seven fits perfectly in the Merrell Barefoot Wonder Glove Mechanical: heel never slips out the back, superb toe breadth for better ball-of-foot balance. Your foot might slip forward, jamming to the front of the slipper, depending on your gait. Feels like walking barefoot indeed, which might not always appeal because it takes a lot of muscle and effort to mitigate pounding. Style: Great ballet flat to pair with jeans, khakis, an athletic skirt, or even a girly boho style if you aren't trying to dress up too much. Will obviously not look right with business attire/nicer fabrics. This shoe is chic, but the wider toe (which saves your foot's structure in a lifetime) does not have the clean lines of a typical fashionable women's shoe.

I just purchased these at (another store, sorry Zappos) and I love them. They are super cute and dressy enough for casual office wear. I'm not really a dressy person anyhow. They look like ballet shoes and are very feminine. I have a long low volume foot (not much top to bottom and pretty narrow.) I usually wear a 10 across the board, but needed these in a 9.5 I tried a 9 but it was way too short and my toe was pressed uncomfortably in the toe box. The 9.5 fits perfectly for me. The 10 I could put my finger behind my foot and still had more room to spare. So I would recommend to size down a half size if possible.

My husband walked in the room as I was trying these on and exclaimed, "Those are some crazy ugly shoes!" I thought they were cute! They are more tan than in the picture. They were comfortable, but I was looking for more support. I did not realize they would be so barefootish. For the right person they would probably be great. I was just looking for something with a more supportive sole.

These shoes are great. The toe box does feel a bit bigger then a 7.5 but I think that, that will be good since it will allow for your feet to swell a bit if you plan on walking long distances. They are perfect for going on a trip since they weigh nothing and won't take up much room in a suitcase. I got them for my upcoming trip to Italy and France and they will be perfect. I can easily use them to do light hiking and walk all over europe while still feeling comfortable enough with the style to go out to a nice dinner in them. I have been looking for a pair of shoes like this forever and was hesitant to buy them but I'm so glad I did. Everyone should own these shoes!

I have a somewhat narrow foot and it is hard for me to find shoes that are not lace-up that actually fit. These were no exception. I could slide my finger with room to spare easily around the top of the toe area. I love Merrell's but I feel bad returning so many of them for other styles. Thank goodness for free returns. Thank you Zappos.

Cute option for those wanting to continue the barefoot option when running shoes are not an option. Really comfortable, too. I own 2 pairs in 2 colors and the two size 7's fit very differently. Beware and maybe order 2 sizes.

I've recently converted to "barefoot" running, i.e. running in shoes that offer no support whatsoever, just minimal protection from sharp stones and broken glass. I took my first run in these shoes this morning, and I love them -- it really does feel almost like running barefoot. They'll fold up to almost nothing when I'm traveling, and as an extra added bonus they're good-looking enough to use for dress shoes. A best buy.

I just recently purchased these in black. They are as light as a feather. They do fit a bit loosely though I needed my regular 7.5 due to length. However they don't slip on the heel at all thanks to the strap. And with the bit of extra space I can wear thin socks if I want which looks surprising cute if they are fun pring. I've been wanting some ballet flats and don't like the type with the elastic in the heel but those without elastic always slip so these are a nice alternative for me and the diagonal strap is cuter and a little different than a regular mary jane strap. I plan to take them on a trip to China to be my dressy shoe when I don't want to wear my hiking boots. They won't take up any space or weight in my suitcase which is a major plus. If they weren't on the pricey side I would be tempted to get the pink too.

Wonderful! This is the cutest barefoot-style shoe I have seen. It is incredibly light. The shoes don't stand out as barefoot shoes and they seem well-made. They look fine with a casual dress. The diagonal strap adds style and also helps keep the shoe on well enough for light active use.

I have three pairs of Merrell Barefoot athletic shoes and I thought I would try these for a dressier walking option. Sadly, they were sized really differently from the Pace Glove and the Lithe Glove - while the sneaker-y shoes fit me close around the arch and in the heel but are nice and open and loose in the toe, the Wonder Glove (and the very similar Serene Glove) were loose all over except where my outer toes bumped against the shoe. They are very attractive, though. Wish they fit!

I really wanted to love these shoes. Unfortunately, my feet run a little wide. They spilled over the side of the sole and my toes were scrunched. They were a nice, flexible shoe, but very narrow. If you have narrow feet, these will fit you well.

This shoe is adorable in style! The aluminum color is a taupe and white combination which will work with so many things. Unfortunately I don't think the barefoot style is going to work for me. There is no arch support and I could feel my feet flattening and rolling over the minute I put them on. They get an A+ for style but the fit doesn't work for anyone accustomed to a solid arch support and a good walking sole. I wish they would design this same shoe with a more heavy duty walking sole.

Oh so frustrating - tried this shoe in different colors and sizes. Here's the good part - super cute and comfy. The bad part is, no matter what size I tried the elastic pushed my foot into the front of the shoe. Increase size, same issue. Go up another size, same issue. Somehow comfy isn't so comfy when your toenails scrape the front on every step. Had to give up and find another brand!

I wanted to like these shoes so much as they are very cute. I am a big advocate of barefoot shoes and own several for running, including ones by Merrell. But wearing these around the house for a couple of hours, my toes felt too scrunched (even when I went up a size) and something about the construction bothered the ball of my foot. More comfy with socks but I wanted to wear them without. So, with much deliberation, I am sending them back.

I am a person who has walked barefoot all of my life once I got home and out of restraining footwear. I really have had a tough time finding footwear where I could feel the earth. Much of the footwear I have tried are over padded over soled and over supportive. I believe this causes the body to get lazy, and back/body aches begin. Saying that. I really like these. I wear them while walking my dogs, and going out of the home. I still go barefoot while in my own area. These little numbers are great for my needs. I purchased them in my usual size 8. When I first got them I thought that they would be to big, but after wearing them, my foot/shoe have merged. That really surprised me. I can wear thin socks with these too! I would highly recommend these to a barefoot woman who needs shoes for public wearing. They are also very adorable. A noted feature is that there is no arch support. These are not meant to have support. I looked for that feature. If you are looking for support, these do not give it. Your body needs to be the supporting system.

For me, very comfortable (narrow heels, wider forefoot with a bunion on one foot). They are a barefoot style shoe, so I do feel the ground underfoot. These shoes work with pants, capris, skirts; I think they are cute (enough that I bought a second pair in black!).

These shoes are awesome. Super comfy. Like barefoot with protection. I got the black and mulberry in a 6.5. They fit totally different. The black is more fitted and the mulberry is wider. Both cute, but I will have to order the mulberry in a 6 - if they get it.

I had been looking for a flat for a long time and decided to give these a try. At first I thought they might be too big, but after wearing them for a while, they really do fit like a glove and very comfortable. A cute, casual shoe that looks good with pants or a skirt.

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable--just like wearing a sock, but much more attractive. These shoes are super cute and perfectly minimalist, and smile every time I put them on because I love how they look and feel so much!

Wasn't so sure about the barefoot concept of these shoes but I love them! Even though the strap did break after a week and I had to exchange them I still give them 5 stars. I just hope they hold up better this time.

I absolutely love these! I normally need a wide width, but these are no problem. I suppose you could wear orthodics in these if you really wanted to, but as with flip-flops, I just wear my little arch support elastic thing. The only complaint I have is about sizing. Merrell is very inconsistent. I usually order an 8 for Merrells (although I just looked in my closet and see that I have a couple of pairs that are 8½). For these, I had to go down to a 7.

After seeing the pictures on Zappos, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the shoes in a store. The aluminum color is tan-ish and cute in person, in a dorky Keen sort of way. I tried both this shoe and the Patagonia Maha Breathe. The back of the Patagonia flats cut into the back of my heels. No such issue with the Merrell's. My true size is a 7.5W; the 7.5 in this shoe are comfortably loose.

So cute! These were comfortable right out of the box. I think I need another pair. My foot is between 9 and 9.5...I went with 9.5 which was perfect. If you're between sizes, I'd suggest sizing up.
