Forgot to add to my earlier review: my waist 28, hip 37. These pants are a great fit if you have a butt and especially if you have thick legs and are tired of other trousers that grip your thighs because they are built for stick-legged girls.

Fantastic pair of pants. Lightweight, slight stretch to them, dry lightning fast, beautiful lines. I bought black and they work equally well for a night out, the office or hiking. They run large, so while I can usually make an 8 work, I should have ordered a 4 or 6 in these.

Bought first pair of these in the stone color based on the reviews. They are extremely comfortable, lightweight, great for travel and outdoor hiking/work wear. They have a few faults that some people might find more than enough to return or not purchase again. I did not, and purchased the black and will also order the silt. I am 5'5" and about 132 pounds. I wear a size 8 in these comfortably. They are very thin and if you have a shape you would rather hide I suggest you not purchase these pants. If you understand what I mean. I wish they had a snap instead of two buttons but that is minor issue. The stone color is more of a very faint green tint. Not a tan or light tan stone color. Other than those things I find these pants to be as described and absolutely perfect for what I use them for; hiking, walking dogs, long trips in auto, run errands around town, etc.

Great, light weight, packable, washable pants that can be either super casual rolled up or a bit dressy with cute sandals and a skinny top, especially in the darker colors. I chose silt, a dark moss green, and it is very versatile, goes with a lot of colors. The cut is sporty but the fabric very silky with a nice drape. I think they run true to Patagonia size (I am 5.5, weigh 125, athletic build) They fit me generously but might not work as well on a curvy shape as they sit low on the hips. I would definitely recommend them to a similar build friend, especially one who likes to travel.

Thank you Patagonia for making a size 0! These pants fit great and will be very comfortable wearing for travel. The rise is mid to low and the length was perfect. I am 5'3" and 115lb.

Very light which I like (don't own a pair of jeans - denim is too bulky & uncomfortable for me!) and move with me. I ordered a 6 and it's a little big in the waist (I'm 5'2, 118) and long in the leg (but like I said, I'm 5'2" - everything's long in the leg!) but wearable! Not super warm for winter but if you don't plan to frolic in the snow in them, you'll be fine!

Once I got the right size they were awesome! Run at least a size small. I usually get at 4 everywhere else and always get a small in Patagonia wear...these I sent back and got the 6! Slimming and run long...love that!

These pants are great for traveling and hiking in warm weather - the fabric is very lightweight, breathable and quick drying. Though it has a full straight leg it is still much more flattering than many other hiking pants. The classic style makes it very versatile. I ordered a size 2 - I am 5 ft 2 in and 112 lbs and did need to shorten them, but it was worth it.

This is a nice pair of active pants. They are very thin, and too lightweight for what I need (40's and 50's weather - these would be great for 60's and 70's). I have to send them back for that reason, but if I wanted something truly lightweight, these would be a great pair. As with all outdoor/active clothing, I tend to size up. I wear a 6 in Old Navy/Banana Republic, and the 8 fit well. (5'6½" and 132 pounds).

Nice looking pants. Very very light weight, thin. Would be great for summer for sure. I think they will wrinkle very easy because of this. .

True to size, size 2 was a perfect fit, the look and feel could not be better, so good that I ordered a second pair. Like all my Patagonia purchases I will probably still be wearing them 10 years from now. Couldn't be happier.

Patagonia makes the best travel pants hands down--this is my 7th pair in as many years. This year's version of the convert-to-capri pants are a bit more casual than the old intercontinental style (which I could sneak into meetings with a blazer), but still as comfortable and lightweight. The side pockets seemed odd while standing, but are the perfect placement for holding pens, sunglasses and other items on a plane or train and best of all, then aren't on the "saddlebag" spot that some travel pants have them. These are great basic pants that blend in with the crowd while traveling but are still dressier than jeans so go pretty much anywhere. You can really travel with these and little else, you can hike all day, get them muddy, and washcloth them off to look great for dinner. I generally go for black but the silt is a nice change, a dark olive. The other great thing about these pants is their water resistance. When caught in a light rain, they repel water and dry off fast, whereas cotton pants would be soggy and heavy. Traveler hint: try going a size up if you're using these for travel and need to sit/sleep in them...they are a little loose around the waist but still not sloppy and will be comfortable for longer trips. I'm trying this for the first time this summer and I think it will work well.

I recently lost some weight but with these pants, I should of lost another 5lbs. Like another reviewer said, they are really thin and show everything. If you have medium/skinny legs, these would be perfect. I have narrow waist and thicker thighs. I made them work but you will need to do some "stretches" to stretch the fabric some. That being said, the material is wonderful, light and dries quickly. Roll them up, throw them in the luggage and no problems. If you are backpacking or have limited packing space buy these.
