Attractive design, decent cushioning, good arch support but very stiff. Also, as other reviewers have commented, they run very narrow across the top of the foot. When I first put them on I thought I had found the perfect tennis shoe but after wearing them around the house for an hour I noticed they were hitting weird spots on my feet. I decided to try them out on the court; after 90 minutes it was clear they weren't going to work for me. They were unbearably stiff and my toes were asleep! Every foot is different; this shoe might be a good choice for a casual player who doesn't want to break the bank on a shoes they'll barely use. However, I play 8-10 hours of tennis a week and need a better quality shoe. Thank you to Zappos and Nike for selling 10.5 - there are lots of us out there!

These shoes are on the narrow side. They are not well suited for someone who wears custom orthotics like me or someone with wide feet.

I have a wide foot and high arch. I do like to buy an athletic shoe to fit a little snug so that there is good support during workouts but this shoe feels really narrow to me. It would probably work well for anyone with a normal width. Nice style!

I love this shoe! It has great support and fits my feet well. I know I will be purchasing more shoes from Zappos.

Great, comfortable leather tennis shoe and a great value. Interior is nice and cushy and required no tedious break-in time. Even though the leather breathes, they are best suited for play on cooler days and evenings. Only negative, quickly overcome, is that they seem wider on the outside than other Nike tennis shoes I own, but I think it is only because the rubber is a bit more thick.

The shoes were exactly as displayed and described. The fit was perfect as always from Nike. Zappos was the only site that had the item I was searching for.

My daughter started wearing these for tennis, and when I decided I needed to change brands, I gave them a try. Just bought my third pair. I get a lot of compliments on them, and they feel great on all surfaces. The support and cushioning are wonderful. I don't like to spend a lot of money on tennis sneakers because I go through several pairs a year, so these get my thumbs up for affordability and performance. I run for balls on the court and move around, and I can honestly say that I'm very happy with these.

Nike shoes run small. I should have guessed more appropriately. I ordered my standard 6.5 and these are so snug, they barely fit in bare feet. Ugh. I shoulda ordered a 1/2 size larger (7). Every other brand I wear a 6.5. Now, I know and so will you. Other than the size, they're great. Fit and feel is very nice. No arch but still comfy. Style is classic and goes with anything.

Bought these for my fiancee for nursing and she loves them. They fit well and her feet don't hurt after wearing them all day.

I love this tennis sneaker, it gives the perfect amount of stability and I noticed a difference in my footing on the court right away. I can see how the other reviewers felt it was a bit narrow, but as my feet are exactly that, they are just right.

I love my Nike City Court V11! Not only did they arrive very quickly, they fit and feel fantastic! I usually stick with Nike running shoe for everyday and casual use. I decided to go with a court shoe for a little more summer style. Glad I did! Love the shoe, love Zappos, Rock on.

As with all other Nike shoes I own, I ordered a half size up. These are my first pair of actual tennis shoes, so I am pleased with the support they provide over the cross-trainers I had been wearing. I've had some chafing on my inner ankle on one of the shoes, so I've been wearing higher socks to alleviate that.

Pink is brighter in real life than it seems in the picture. This shoe is not really breathable - but good for cold weather. Good grip on the bottom.

Love these shoes! I'm an intermediate tennis player, and they have enough cushion and flex for me, without being a $100 tennis shoe!

Very nice and comfy but make sure to order half size larger. I ordered a 7.5 and had to exchange them for an 8 but other than that it's good for tennis.

Very narrow around ball of foot. I have a narrow foot and it was too tight for my foot which is unusual.

I purchased the gymshoes for my daughter and she really love the style and feel of the shoes. She stated that they are different from what she normally buy but she really like them and was very pleased with her new gymshoes.

If you like feeling like you're playing tennis or doing any kind of moving with large cement blocks on your feet, you will love these shoes. But, if you like comfortable, light, flexible shoes you will hate these shoes like I do! I will never order another pair of Nike tennis shoes. Adidas and KSwiss are so much better! I never write reviews but want to warn others not to make the same mistake I did. And don't fool yourself thinking you will break these in, you won't!

The Nike City Court VII Men's tennis shoes, unfortunately, for me, were bad shoes. They are too narrow. And have an extremely stiff sole. Too stiff, that when I first wore them playing on the tennis court, I could not break them in to become flexible enough. My first sprint towards the tennis ball, my right foot planted flatly and firmly, no flexibility in the shoe, I strained / pulled my lower right calf (gastrocnemius) muscle, pain, could not play any further for at least a week. Tennis shoes are supposed to be stiffer, but these shoes are extremely too stiff. I will need to replace the new shoes with a different pair.
