A comfortable well constructed shoe. No break in necessary. I'm not sure what problem the other reviewer had with the shoe cutting into the ball of the foot because I don't have the same problem. I also have high arches and need a decent amount of support in my shoe for that reason and these shoes have great arch support. If you compare these to other canvas shoes like Converse, these are much more durable and comfortable.

I ordered these in Stonewashed Metal. Make no mistake, these shoes are green. It's not a bad green--on the cooler side, definitely not olive. I still like them, though, and plan to keep them. As with other French-designed shoes I've had (Adidas, Puma), these are a bit narrow in the body, but the toe box is roomy and my E-width feet are doing okay in them. Well-built, pretty comfy, good arch support for the price.

It is a beautiful shoe, but when you look at it you will find glue spilling from the seams. The arches seem to be on the wrong side of the shoe and medium is slightly smaller than you would expect. But, the actual problem is that they cut into your Achilles tendons. I would have been able to put up with the first two, but the last issue was too much to bear. I sent them back.

Nice work shoes - they are sort of silly looking and they dig in at the heel a bit - need to be broken in. I sprayed them with scotch-guard so they'll be waterproof. Great tread - very non-slip. We'll see how they hold up.

Have been searching for a solidly built, comfortable, vegan shoe for years. Bingo. Well constructed canvas and real rubber shoe. Ample room in the toe box. Even the shoe laces are good quality and add to the overall comfort and stability of the shoe. More supportive and secure than any Converse, Pf Flyer, etc. And good lookin'.

On my second pair! One pair lasted me a full year of riding in the rain. Got a lot of miles in these shoes. Aggressive tread will stick to nearly any surface. The failure point occurred when the cotton became detached from the rubber toe.

Love these shoes! These are my new go to shoes on a Saturday morning. They are my grown up version of my old Chuck Taylor's.

Beautiful, comfortable, and very inexpensive. I am now going to buy the other color. Also, great lightening fast delivery, as usual.

These shoes are great. I bought the men's version for myself as they did not come in enough colors in the women's. I wish Palladium would testify that or Zappos would carry more colors in the Palladium Oxford and Boots. The shoe is extremely comfortable, flexible, and has great support with its removable insert. It edgy enough to be a fun show to wear, has more support than Chucks, and great for me, as a teacher, as I am on my feet most of the day.

The shoes look just like the picture (and I think they're stylish). They fit comfortably (I've worn them to work, and I'm on my feet most of the day). I ordered one pair of Palladiums, and liked them so much that I immediately ordered this pair.

I bought these about 16 months ago. I have terrible flat feet and these were very comfortable. Nobody has these shoes around here, which I like that fact. They are really good looking and very well made. I wore them 3 times a week all this time and have ruined the arch finally. I will be buying another pair of these same shoes. The stone washed metal color, turns slightly greenish over time. Going with black this time.

Zappos has provided the opportunity to buy Palladium Pampa Oxford shoes which are of excellent quality. The fabric is excellent, the tires are excellent, the tailoring is good. The price was great too!

I really like these shoes. Unique style and pretty comfy. They are a bit heavy, but that wasn't a surprise. No issues at all so far. They don't seem like shoes that will fall apart quickly either.

These are fun, durable, and stylish. But do not let the name Oxford fool you. I thought all Oxfords were archless. These have pretty big arches. If you are looking for flat Oxfords, try Palladium's Slim Oxfords.

Great shoes for walking and making a fashion statement. They look great with a sport coat and khakis. Love Zappos service!

Great shoes, very happy with them. I was a bit unsure of what to expect from the quality, after reading some of the negative reviews. But the quality is great, no complaints whatsoever. It was originally uncomfortable around the toes, but problem went away as the shoes were broken in.

This is absolutely the most uncomfortable pair of canvas shoes I have ever worn. The canvas is high quality. However, the lack of a lining makes that canvas act like sandpaper with any slight slippage of the shoe. This makes the shoes totally impractical for any serious walking.

These are slippers, not shoes. The rear barely covered my heel. I bought these because from the looks, they would be a relatively aggressive sole for urban car to office walking. Not so much. At a size 14, they fit well length wise, but barely came up to my ankle bone. Barely a shoe at all. Perhaps I am old-fashioned, but these were more like slippers than shoes. I want something that at least covers my heel.

I was looking for sturdy, non-leather shoes so I tried these. They are quite narrow. I am wearing them hoping that they stretch out. They are green, not grey.
