I took these boots with me to the Ecuadorian Amazon, mainly as protection against snakes, but also for the mud and muck. I hiked in them through the rain forest without any incidents. Probably the longest hike was close to 2 hrs in challenging terrain. The soles have quite a deep 'tooth', which means that they don't easily get filled up with mud and lose traction. I was quite happy with the boots. The one quibble is that the insole is not coming up (curling) just a tiny bit inside the boot itself after this trip (10 days). Overall I would buy these again.

Purchased these for a trip to a wet, tropical area. The boots were a little warm (as expected) but kept my feet dry. They got muddy but still looked good. I removed the footpads to put in my own inserts for excellent support. As a woman with wide calves, I have a hard time fitting into skinny women's boots. These were perfect.

I needed good rubber boots for winter, but I have big calves (17-17.5" around) and I wanted knee-high boots. My last pair, which were Chookas, fell apart after two months, so I was willing to spend more money this time around to get something more durable. Pretty much everything I tried was too small for my legs (Huntress, Hunter Adjustable, Aigle Parcours) or were not the style I wanted. These were one the last pairs I tried and they are exactly what I wanted. Pros: -I can wear these with my pants tucked into them and they still fit. -Very durable, but are understated and stylish. -I have bunions on both sides of my feet and these are still comfortable enough for me to wear all day. I did order a size up though. Cons: -Wear thick socks if you're going to have these on all day. They're not comfortable enough with thin ones. -The insole on the heels folded back after about a month. Get some removable insoles.

Geez...I read about people wearing these in the Amazon. I felt like a boa constrictor had grabbed my calf and put suction on it. I almost didn't get this off my leg. Is there no rain boot that I can wear? My calf is 17" and this was supposed to be 18" wide. Very frustrating and I almost had a panic attack. I can't tell about the size because I never got my leg fully inside it before it attached itself to my leg. Probably a good boot, but just not for me.

These boots are great, just too small. It said they ran large but this was not true for my husband. I will reorder and get the larger size.

Working outside at a garden center I needed a waterproof, comfortable boot. These boots fit the bill! They keep me dry and allow me to work on my feet, indoors and out, all day! I generally wear a size 11.5-12. A size 11 in these boots is perfect for me. A great gardening boot with a sophisticated style.

The Chameau All Tracks XL is a more comfortable boot going on and coming off than the Hunter boot. It's also larger around the calf. Sole is also better. My only complaint is the finish of its rubber. It tends to get marked very easily. Nicely lined.

I bought these for my husband to replace another pair that had worn out. This was a new brand for him and he absolutely loves them. They were true to size and he says they are warm and comfortable, he loves them. Worth the price.

It took one week to delivery to my house. It is fit to my feet perfect like sock. Normally I wear size 8.5 or 9 but I ordered size 8 and it fit. Thanks.

These were a gift for the man in my life who wears them around the farm for work and to protect his feet. They fit and work great and are so much better than cheap boots!

Ever since I first laid eyes on Le Chameau boots I have lusted for a pair. First I ordered the Vierzon Lady, it fit perfectly in the foot, but the leg was ridiculously thin (and no, I don't have thick calves). Then I tried the Cavaliere. It fit a bit better in the calf, but was very narrow in the foot. Finally with the Country All Tracks I found success! I love the pretty plaid lining, I love the height of the boot (I use them to go trout fishing), I love the classic look, and now I love the fit too. Thank you Zappos!

Great boots, appear to be very solid, and just the right height that I was looking for...unfortunately they are far too tight in the calf area and I had to return them. (The online specs said they are 18" in the calf, and I measured my calves at 17", but they did not fit.) This seems to be a common problem with Wellies, so I will have to keep looking for a suitable pair.
