ok, so before I bought these, I read all about the reports of "break in" and "discomfort". These are made of good leather, so I can understand minor discomfort at first, maybe if you have sensitive feet. I did NOT experience discomfort at all, but did notice that they felt different after about a week of break in. All in all, these are awesome sandals. I find them extremely comfortable, stylish, and sturdy. The bottoms are completely flat, so I would not recommend if you are using these for outdoorsy applications. I predict they will last a long time, since they are very dense and do not have a lot of "give". True to size as well. Great price for vineyard vines considering all the reef/billabong sandals are about the same price in leather

I really like these flip flops. I'm picky about my sandals so I looked everywhere for the right pair and I finally settled on these because they were exactly what I was looking for. They're a perfect brown flop - sleek, simple, and without all the beachy flair usually found on a sandal. They are even better looking in person and the quality is excellent! 2 thumbs up!

The leather straps, literally, cut the upper parts of my feet. I wore them for 2 days and then could not wear any/all sandals. What's the deal VV? Zappos-outstanding service, shipped next day.

I bought a pair of these for my 14yo son. They are great pair of flip-flops that can be worn on any occasion. My son wears them to the beach, on causal events, and even out to dinner. These were also much cheaper than his previous pair of Rainbows.

They run small. I have only wore them once, but I can tell that my feet will be molded to them. Forest day they were a little uncomfortable. They look great on my foot. Exactly what I need in Hawaii.

Felt great at first, very comfortable and looked good. After 3 months of wear the coloring faded away where my feet sat on the sandal. The nice brown gave way to faded light pink. Really disappointing after only a few months of having them; would not recommend.

Worst flip flops I've ever worn! They cut my feet like the other reviewer said. That was only after wearing them for 2 hours. I tried again a few months later after attempting to break them in with short walks outside with my dog. Still cut my feet terribly. Beware!

Well made and heavier than expected but love them!

I usually buy Rainbow sandals, but took a chance on these thanks to the risk free Zappos return policy. Surprised to find these fit and feel like Rainbows. Highly recommended.

Great quality I prefer these to Rainbows. Won’t go out of style.

WOW, blown away by the amazing quality of these flip flops, definitely worth the price guys, don't even think twice, just buy it, its true to size, excellent grip for rain & the whale tails logo it kicks butt...my favorite pair ever!

Initially these felt tight on my feet but after a few wears were just right. Seem to be well made and sturdy. As might be expected with a such a simple sandal arch support is limited but I find them comfortable.

My husband loves these flip flops! They are super comfortable and a much sleeker look than the cheap plastic flip flops.

This item says men's 9 women's 11. It does not fit me and I wear a women's 11. It does look nice though. I also ordered the Orthaheel Wave 2 Thong Unisex and it says Men's 10 Women's 11 and it fit fine.

Very comfortable flip flop. There is a lot of cushion for your foot. I did not experience and strap irritation. the only negative is that they take a little while to mold to your foot, but that just means they'll last for a long time

Great flip flops! I bought the khaki ones and love them. The only problem is they take like 2 days of good use to wear the leather in, and you will cut your foot in the process.

Nice thick cushy sole. comfy from the first day. The stitching under the strap bothered me a little (left red marks on my feet) but only for the first week or so. After I broke them in (2 weeks tops) they were money. Plus, I love the little whale on the tag.
