I love these shoes! I've been working out for almost 2 years and every time I try to wear shoes I throw them off within minutes of beginning my workout and workout barefoot. Not with these. This shoe has a wider toe box and it's springy. I'm more of a minimalist shoe person and can't stand big heel to toe drops and all the extra cushion running shoes give you that cause pain. No pain when I'm running and no numb toes. These aren't the most minimalist shoe on the market by a long shot, but I do sure love them. Just wish they had better color options. I use them for PUMP/Asylum/P90x2/running. Love them. Thank you Brooks for making a great shoe.

Since I have had foot pain for years, these are the first shoe I have not used an orthotic. Love the roomy toe box! Was surprised that the heel was low...but liked it. I hope Brooks keep making shoes with these qualities! Put them on the first time and for some reason, took off running. Not all that far, you see I'm almost 70.

Just bought these shoes after months of trying to find a light shoe with good cushioning. These are great! I teach group fitness mama, run and lift weights and this shoe is great for all of my needs. The size runs a little small, but I always get workout shoes a 1/2 size up anyway. I add an insert to all of my shoes too and the fit is still very comfy. Good wide toebox so my feet feel good with all the side and lateral movements in class. Colors are great too. I know some people like the plain, but I'm loving all the vibrant choices. Happy feet again and as always, loving Zappos' quick and awesome customer service!

Wow. These are the best running shoes I've tried in my short (2-year) stint as a runner. They're definitely minimal in terms of feeling light and neutral (I don't feel like there's too much shoe trying to correct my foot). At the same time, there's good support in the arch and the upper holds my foot in place without feeling constrictive because of the flexible band over the top. My favorite feature is the cushiony bouncy sole that makes even my runs on pavement super comfortable and since I got them, my creaky knees and toe numbness have all but disappeared. I do feel like these run a tad small (I'm usually a perfect 5.5, and the PureFlow 5.5 is just barely long enough for my toes), so if you're between sizes, order up.

I recently started to run naturally. These shoes have good cushioning in the forefoot for forefoot striking. I have found the shoes to be less constrictive than the Brooks pure cadence. I have also found them to have more cushioning than in the Brooks pure grit, which I also like. I believe that of this shoe collection by Brooks there is a shoe that everyone could wear.

These running shoes were perfect right out of the box. I've had many foot problems and these shoes make everything feel great. They feel like part of your foot rather than a shoe. The heel is slightly lower which gives it a more natural feel on the foot as well as making your strides feel more natural. The padding is more on the forefoot than all bunched under the heel. Great shoe!

A great shoe. When you first put it on, it feels a little too cushiony and unstable, sort of like when you're walking on pillows, but after running in it a couple times it flattens out and is a great, low heel-toe drop shoe. Supportive enough for shorter, quick runs. I usually wear Brooks Ravennas, which have mild support. I ordered a size 10. Always order half size up when purchasing running shoes.

I love them...I've been looking for something with a little more support than the Nike frees, but still light and with a low heel. These are so bouncy! Perfect! I have a wide feet and usually wear a 6.5, but got a 7. Only wish the came in different colors.

My poor feet have early arthritis (and a past surgery), but I still take aerobics classes 4-5 times a week. I have a hard time finding shoes I can jump around in without my feet hurting later, but I've found them! These are awesome shoes with lots of cushioning in just the right spots. And the fun purple color makes me feel happy!

These sneakers are great! I read the previous reviews and needed a shoe with good support that I could stand in all day. I found them.

In the past I was a heel striker and my shoe of choice was Asics Gel Nimbus. After years of heel striking it got to the point where my hips ached long after my run, I had thigh muscle fatigue during my run which resulted in not being able to keep a steady pace or run long distances. Then I discovered the Chi Running technique which completely changed how my body feels during and after I run. With Chi running I decided to buy the appropriate shoes and after much research I decided on Brooks Pure Flow. I just finished my first run in my new shoes...Ahhh...Love them. I love shoes I can wear right out of the box and run 6 miles without any problems. The price is great too.

Very comfortable. Wide with shoes are usually too wide for me, but some regular shoes can be too narrow. These are just right! I love Brooks brand.

I loved these shoes right out of the box! The most comfortable and flexible shoe with cushioning I've found for running yet. I'm normally a Brooks Glycerin user - but am excited to try these out on my long runs. Definitely wish they came in different color choices besides black though.

Great minimalist transition shoe. They are super lightweight and comfortable with a wide toe box. The arch support band does hit the outside of the foot in a strange place causing some pain on the 5th metatarsal. Overall pleased with the shoe's performance on short training runs.

I bought this shoe because Runner's World said it was a Best Buy and I needed a back up shoe for training. It ran very small (I needed a full size up instead of usual half). It is okay for shorter runs, but not enough support for long runs.

The shoe is so cute and fashionable. However, the shoe seems a bit snug. Also, within five minutes of wearing, it started to rub on my achilles heel area and I knew I would have to return. Will try another Brooks' shoe.

I bought these to replace a pair of Brooks Green Silence (which I loved). I was looking for a minimalist shoe for Crossfit. These shoes do not work well for weight lifting or squats because it changed my balance. I had to take my shoes off. The shoes are snug and don't breathe well. I wouldn't buy them again.

Great comfort and support. So good for walking and working on a cement floor all day. Don't know how they are for running, but they sure are awesome for standing and walking. I got half size larger 'cuz I like to have room in the toes and they're perfect.

If you're looking for a great shoe that will encourage a forefoot strike (and basically encourage a transition to more minimalist running) this shoe will be great for you. It's both a great every day running shoe, and a great long distance running shoe. (Full disclosure I now own all members of the Brooks Pure family). And let's face it, it's a great looking shoe! As with many minimalist shoes, you're not going to get the same durability as you would with a stability shoe, but being able to really hone in on a forefoot strike is worth the cost of replacing the shoes a little more often in my opinion. I would highly recommend this shoe. I used it to set my marathon PR!

So comfortable! These were my first pair of actual running shoes and I wish I had bought them along time ago. I work on my feet all day so when its time to go to the gym, my feet are killing me, but these help a ton!

Love these shoes. I usually where Brooks, but this was my first time trying out the Brooks PureFlow. I am a distance runner and run all the time. Very comfy and light. For running I got a 1/2 size bigger and almost could of gotten a whole size bigger.

I have been running for about 32 years, since I was a teenager. I've run a few marathons and logged lots of miles over the years. My search for the right running shoe was a constant pursuit until now. For me, the PureFlow is quite possibly the perfect shoe. I am a forefoot striker with a neutral gait so the natural feel of this shoe is great. It is as close to the barefoot running as concept as possible with enough cushion to feel like you are not pounding pavement. Bravo Brooks! And thank you!

I was looking for something lighter to alternate with my Ravenna 3's; this is a great running shoe. It took a few runs before I was sure I liked them, they are firmer to land on than the Ravenna's, which I like. After a few months of running with this shoe, I think I'll be doing all of my training with it. I recently wore it while running a half marathon and found it to be a great shoe for racing longer distances. I did not have to size up; the shoe fits perfectly out of the box. Love the cool colors!

Very wide through the toe area (I have semi-narrow feet) but otherwise true to size. Great combination of minimal/flat sole with plenty of cushioning - I switched from a traditional running shoe and these definitely made my calves and ankles more tired than usual, which is a good sign!

The best tennis shoe ever. I wear orthotics for my right foot - haven't even needed to insert them because of the support they offer. They are light as a feather & so very comfortable. My feet are very happy in my Red shoes. Bought 1 size larger due to the need for wide width & orthotics.
