Not snuggly Uggs. Well constructed with generous toebox. Be aware, however, that the sheepskin lining is only in the shaft and on the insert in the footbed. There is no sheepskin around the foot, so warm socks will be required in the winter. I would have returned them for this reason, but my daughter liked them anyway.

I have purchased these boots for my 8 year old son since he was 3 and he loves them. They keep his feet warm, note they are not snow boots. He wears his bogs for wet snow days. A nice looking boot.

My son loves these! Finding just the right shoe for a 10-year old can be difficult, but these are "cool" in his book. We're on our 3rd pair -- new size every Fall. Sturdy, durable and warm.

There was no fleece in the boot and the heel is too loose. You will need to wear socks with these boots.

Ugg Riverton-oh so warm and toasty. My new favorite winter boot. I wear a woman's size 6, ordered youth size 5 for an excellent fit.

Ugg company dropped the ball on this year's design! My boys have worn this style of boot for about 5 yrs. This year's design looks similar from out the outside but they skimped on shearling for the upper top portion of the foot. Inside of soft, warm shearling, it's a really rough material where even if you had regular socks on, it would be uncomfortable. Considering how much these boots cost, that was a poor design decision, Ugg! As a result, my kids are in Emu's and Tamarac's this year...both versions I purchased from these latter brands are 100% sheep shearling (some styles are not so FYI) and cheaper. If these brands can offer shoes with full shearling in the foot area, so can the Ugg Company.

No fur in the top part of the foot. Feet are going to be cold during winter time.

Perfect boots for the winter! I was in desperate need for good warm winter boots and these are great! I am a size 5 in women, but got a size 4 in kids, I bought these in brown, got my grandma a pair in black, and my nephew both colors, they are all set for the winter weather.

I am a woman who wears a 6½-7 shoe. My adult daughter had a pair of Ugg boots that she purchased years ago similar to the Riverton. Since I could not find them in women's sizes I decided to purchase the Big Kid size in 6. It was a little roomy and would have been good with a heavy sock, but I wanted a snugger fit. I ordered the 5 and it is perfect. I have only worn them around the house, test run, as it is summer, but I did not want to take them off. They are that comfortable. I cannot wait for winter.

5 stars all the way! I ordered these boots for my 8 yr old son about 1-2 days prior to Christmas and received them right on time! Come to think of it, I believe it was the following day. Box came in tact and in one piece and the boots exceeded my expectations. They're extremely comfortable, warm and look just right for a boy! We get compliments on them ALL THE TIME!

These boots are great for slushy/snowy days. The comfort we know and love from Ugg, combined with sturdy leather that doesn't get stained when wet.

My son is very tactile and hates anything constricting. He adores these boots. I am usually a huge Ugg fan; however, I am disappointed that the foot bed is already worn and he has been wearing these for one month.

Fantastic boot! 7 year old son loves them. He has all suede boots too, but kids at school teased him and said regular Uggs were only for girls (not true). Anyway, these are great and he is confident, comfortable! Expensive, but worth the bully prevention & confidence for our guy. They will last for years and we will gift them to a needy child next year.

My son loved these so much the first year I bought them that he even wore them with shorts. He wore them right out so we bought the exact same pair again for the new school year. Highly recommend!

Very nice boots, I ordered it for cold winter( -15-20C (Celcius), but there is no fur inside. Only fur insole. I left it for cold autumn( up to -5 C). No comment reg size as I took one size more that my son wear. It was ok.

I am a big fan of Uggs but I have to say that I was disappointed with these boots. Myself and my girls each got a pair. I took for granted that Ugg boots are warm, however, these boots are not at all warm. There is no shearling in the toe area. I found it necessary to wear wool or extra thick socks to keep our feet warm. Would not recommend this particular boot.

I loved the look of these boots, but unlike my other leather UGGs, the lining was not throughout the boot. It was uncomfortable without socks... which is one of the benefits of UGGs.
