I ordered the tangerine color and it is beautiful--exactly what I expected. I have owned the blender for about a month and am very pleased with its performance. It does a very good job of crushing ice and frozen food in smoothies and milk shakes. I have not had to scrape down the sides of this blender to fully process the food as I had with my previous blender. Additionally the blender is very easy to clean. the pitcher can be washed in the dishwasher or cleaned by filling it half-full with warm water, adding a drop of detergent and running it on the "stir" setting for about 10 seconds. Both approaches work well but I love being able to clean the pitcher quickly and easily without taking up space in the dishwasher or filling the sink. Other reviews have stated that the blender is noisy but I think the only quiet blender is an unused blender. It is certainly less noisy than my old blender. Zappos had the best price and delivery was a snap. It arrived two days earlier than I expected. I did a lot of research before choosing this blender. This is the best thing out there unless you want to get into the crazy expensive, restaurant quality machines.

This is probably the best blender I have every owned. The consumer reports ratings were correct when they gave this blender a #1 rating.

Great blender, mixes smoothies and frozen drinks effortlessly. Cleanup is easy, just blend soapy water and rinse (blades non-removable). The pitcher did start to leak after a few weeks. A little research shows this was an early design problem fixed by KitchenAid. I called their support number and they sent a new pitcher. Support call was fast, maybe 10 minutes total!

Love this blender. I've had Waring and Oster and don't want to pay over $100. The 56 oz pitcher is a great size and I love the polycarbonate, the pulse feature, the ice crushing and the slow start up. Wish I'd known about this years ago. KitchenAid makes quality products.

Looks great. Does the jobs I've asked it do. However, the more challenging jobs result in that burning motor smell that preceded my last blender's demise.

I needed a good blender for crushing ice (for margaritas, of course). I researched them online at Consumer Reports, ordered the KtichenAid here at Zappos, received it the next day. And boy, does it crush the ice! Thank you, Zappos. You are terrific.

This is outstanding! It outperformed its much more expensive competitors. It is easy to clean, makes the best protein smoothies. It is quiet and Zappos was great to deal with.

I absolutely love this blender. It is huge at 56 ounces, it is light weight, and very efficient. I was using an Oyster before, but I never will again. I give this five stars, it is worth every penny. It is also easy to clean.

My husband loves smoothies, so he asked for a blender for his anniversary gift! I searched for some blender reviews online, found that this one was very highly rated, and came to Zappos to see if they have it. Of course they do! Zappos is the best. The blender arrived quickly and my husband and I are thrilled! This is the best blender I've ever used. Super powerful and it's a cinch to clean because it's just 2 pieces. No fussing around with the blade at all. I love this thing!

Received this item very quickly after ordering. I use my blender to make frozen fruit protein smoothies. I can burn an ordinary blender up in a few weeks. The Kitchenaid chews up the frozen fruit with no problem at all. It is noisy, but probably not that much more than my other blenders. So far, I'm very pleased. Zappos remains my favorite internet shopping site.

Everything is great with this blender: getting the job done, looks, value, performance. After more than a month we're thrilled to find it to be a work horse for most any blending job, soups, plus it makes creamy smoothies in a flash. As always, and I do mean always, Zappos totally rocks!

I wanted the cobalt blue to match my mixer. As it turns out this is the perfect blender for me...powerful, easy to use and clean, and attractive too. I love it.

I make a green smoothie every morning for breakfast. This beauty whips it up in no time. It has no trouble handling the frozen strawberries or liquefying the spinach. Excellent!

I frequently cannot eat all the bananas or yogurt that I buy before it is of questionable quality, so I decided to get a blender to make smoothies. I looked at the Vitamix, but realized my total use of the item wasn't worth retail price. This one was highly rated by others that bypassed the Vitamix. I've used it several times; it seems to have all the power needed, and works really well on all cycles. At this price, it was well worth it. It was delivered within a few days, and since my kitchen is red, I liked the color. It is easy to clean; just whiz up soap and water.

I purchased this blender to give as a gift, so haven't used it myself. Arrived promptly and in excellent condition. Was extremely impressed with customer service when I placed my order over the phone.

This is a beautiful color. My old blender was a Cuisinart, and I like the larger container on this blender, plus the fact that it is plastic, rather than glass. On the other hand, the Cuisinart control pad had more options. I also like the fact that the blades are part of the container it makes washing easier. So far I have only used this blender to make pesto, and it did a great job. Zappos did their usual super fast shipping on this order!

I love this blender. It is rather quiet especially the ice crush function. Of course, this is in comparison to my previous blender made by Cuisinart. My only angst with this model is that the blades do not detach from the pitcher so it is harder to clean, but washing it immediately solves that problem. This KitchenAid is money well spent.

Broken after less than three months of use. I think I got a lemon since all the other reviews are so good. Was happy with it until this morning when I was blending and it shook and made a bad sound, then liquid started leaking out of the bottom. The blade piece seems to be loose and shaking around in there, but I really cannot tell what's wrong with it. Ugh.

Delivery was commendable within the advertised time frame. Product was well packaged and arrived undamaged with all parts as product described it. Use has been great and we are well satisfied with the minor exception: the polycarbonate pitcher has a smell that may be caused by the dishwasher soaps however a previous blender had a glass pitcher. Have chosen not to downgrade the rating of this product because of the smell but would caution others who may purchase the items to consider a glass pitcher instead.

Fast, powerful, and efficient. Use it most often to make smoothies from frozen fruit and juice. It takes seconds to blend a full jar (and I mean the jar full of frozen fruit, then added juice to fill in the space between fruit. I have had this model for over a year, purchased the red one for our daughter-in-law's birthday after she requested one just like mine. Have had 3 other name brands of blenders and none come close to the performance of this blender.

I bought this as a gift for my mom to replace her old blender. She likes it. What she likes best is that the pitcher and blade assembly are one piece with nothing to screw together. She is in her sixties and wouldn't be able to get the blade assembly tight enough if it were a screw together type. She doesn't have to worry about anything leaking out of the bottom.

Everything you would expect from a KitchenAid. Crushes ice like it should, not just bounces it around like my old one. Blends beautifully. These are all I have used it for so far, but cannot imagine having trouble from the other functions, after all it is a KithenAid. Bought the black color which looks great sitting on the counter.
