I had my eye on these for two years before I finally purchased. Love them. Wear them down to high teens and am just fine. Soft. Comfortable. Nice fit (not tight and binding)

Had them for 5 years now and been skiing in really cold and warm weather. Truly best gloves I had so far and I have had a lot. In fact I ordered one more pair just in case I lose them and Smartwool stop making them.

These gloves are the best for what I need. Just repurchased to replace one I lost. I tried two other pairs from other brands and couldn't find what I missed the most in these. They are lightweight and durable. I use them mostly for warmth while outside hiking, biking, and occasionally for skiing, and the protection they offer for light chores is great. I'm comfortable down to about 20-degrees--any colder and I might throw on a liner for extra warmth (or just change gloves). The leather is supple and becomes extremely nice after they break in. I apply Obenauf's often to keep the moisture away and have never had an issue with wet hands in the snow. The fingers are cut nicely, too, so dexterity is high--something you don't appreciate until you get a pair that fit well. And being that they're natural leather, they breathe very well. #sweepstakes

Used these gloves for the first time last weekend. They are a little slick on my back country ski polls, but they're warm and tough. I shoveled with them too. I think these will get a lot of use. Much more durable than my old fleece gloves. I measured and bought according to the size chart. They're a bit snug, but the finger length is perfect. I'd recommend these gloves without hesitation.

I use these for cleaning off my car, shoveling, snowboarding if I don't have my Smartwool Spring gloves in my bag and evening dog walks.

These gloves are amazing! My husband had a pair and when I accidentally lost one of the gloves he pestered me continuously until I bought him a new pair. They are super warm for Midwest winters yet still very dexterous and allows for functionality while wearing.

I really like these gloves but I wish I would have gotten ones that are touch screen capable.

I've enjoyed using Smartwool socks for decades to keep my feet comfortably warm, so after reading a glove review article rating them highly, how could I go wrong having Smartwool gloves keep my hands toasty warm. Sadly, I did go wrong. With temperatures in the upper teens or low twenties, my hands are decidedly cold after 15 minutes shoveling snow. Admittedly my hands chill quite quickly but I've owned gloves one-third the price keep them warmer. If only they performed as well as they looked.

These are attractive gloves that fit well. Unfortunately, they're just not very warm. They're very thin with little insulation. My fingers were freezing within a few minutes. My guess is these would be fine for 40F but anything below freezing and they're aren't going to keep your fingers warm. The design of these could be improved with better/more plush insulation and having a ribbed cuff that would stay under the coat sleeve. I wouldn't recommend these.

First off, I have purchased many Smartwool products over the years and I have never been disappointed until now. I purchased these to be my everyday winter gloves, but unfortunately I can't use them since they are too small for my hand. Tight gloves tend to cut off the circulation in my hands and my fingers never warm up. I have purchased extra large Smart wool gloves in the past and those fit great, but this pair fits like a size large, not extra large. I intend to return them soon.
