I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to find a backpack that I liked and that could hold all of my books. I am a student and last semester I had four classes. This was able to fit all four of my college text books at once. When I needed a binder I either carried it or took one of my books out. I had problems without the side mesh pockets but they were fine. I enjoy it a lot and am glad I got it as a Christmas present. I like the fact that there are so may pockets. I did not know what the other zippered part was for, until I read the other customer's review. I also like how you can carry it as a backpack. The best part though is that it fits between the rows in my lecture hall. There is a handle on top to take it up and down stairs which is useful. I would recommend this to any student. The best part is that it is vertical and not horizontal.

I ordered this wheeled backpack at the last minute for a European vacation. True to experience, Zappos delivered in record time. Upon opening the box, I saw that the outside stitching on the backpack was irregular; looked like a stitch tension problem to me. But I decided to live with it because my departure was less than 24 hours away. Then I went to fill up the backpack, and I noticed in one compartment a bright lime green recipe card with Proteins written on one side, and on the other, Holes in the capillary walls allow water, gases smaller nutrients out to the tissues. Are too large for the holes and that's what keeps them in the vessel. Think flashcard-like. So it seems, this backpack once had a life with a student who returned it, and the merchandise was not carefully inspected before resending it out to me. Note to retailers: be careful what you resend; not everyone will be as forgiving as I am.

Outstanding quality. Computer compartment does not fit an ASUS 17" laptop. Will fit in the large compartment in front of the wheels. A little awkward. Need padding (clothes) to keep from tweaking the computer while in the compartment. I was very concerned the bag would be too large to fit in an airliners overhead bin. Fit very nicely. I carry 3 laptops. A 10" ASUS netbook, a 15.6" ASUS, in the computer compartment, and a 17.3" ASUS ROG in the clothing compartment along with 3 work related manuals. I have various pencils, pens, markers, computer memory, and a small notebook paper pad in the front pocket. The side pockets keep the 3 mice I use warm, along with the power supplies. The 17" goes into the bag first, followed by the 15", then the netbook, manuals, then the power supplies and mice. Have to use this order or everybody does not fit. When working in Starbucks or Barnes and Noble, unzip the bag and my mobile office is open for business. A very well organized bag. When filled up, it weighs in at a cool 40 pounds. A tad heavy to put in an overhead bin. The price one pays for greatness. Wheels work great. The padded shoulder straps are very good. Not as good as a $500 backpack strap, but good enough. Sits on my back in the perfect position. Am a 5'-11" male. On a small girl, the bag may fit a tad low, just tighten the straps. Back 40 years ago, it was HS or North Face for equipment. High Sierra quality is still top notch. Zappos was great to deal with. Will buy from them in the future. Their shipping box was a little cheesy.

This is a nice backpack. The handle doesn't go up and down very well. I bought it for my 5th grader, but it won't fit in her locker. So, she will now use it as an overnight bag.

My daughter loves this backpack for nursing school.

Great design. I love how the back panel folds down and covers the wheels to protect your clothes when using it as a backpack.

I bought two week ago and my 11y/o and he loved. It is great product and a great price.

Bought this bag for law school and all the books. The bag works great for all the heavy books and laptop I carry to class.

I bought this backpack for my middle school son and he really likes the size and ease of the backpack. With all the books and equipment he has to carry around, this backpack meets all of his needs and he no longer has back pain. We also like the quality of High Sierra backpacks, and have many backpacks for hiking and school needs.

Such a quality bag. We weren't sure about it being gray because we love the black one we have, but the gray is just as pretty and we love it.

I bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas to help relieve some shoulder issues he was having from carrying a heavy backpack. It looks very sharp, and is quite roomy. I think it will work out nicely. The colors were limited when I purchased, I would have liked to get a brighter color, but what can you do? It seems to be well made, and I think it will help him out- the wheels roll very smoothly.

We previously had a Samsonite rolling backpack and unfortunately, the handle broke off after less than three years of use. My daughter loved her previous backpack so I was glad to have found this one to replace it for her second semester in 8th grade. Like the Samsonite, this one is well made, is incredibly roomy and has many different compartments for books and her iPad. It's a terrific backpack that she can use for the rest of her 8th grade and hopefully during her high school years as well. When she's done, we're hoping we can use it for our travels since it's the perfect size for not checking in bags.

Sturdy backpack with lots of room and compartments to store things. I bought one to take laptop, shoes, lunch, etc. on my long walk back and forth to work. My daughter recently started a job and wanted one too. We are very pleased. It makes trucking things back and forth to work so easy!

I bought this as a Christmas gift and was pleasantly surprised. The bag is large and has a lot of space. It was perfect for my mom who works as a teacher and is always carting things to and from school. Seems like good quality construction so far.

I bought my son this rolling book sack for school last year, due to how heavy his book sack was the year before. He absolutely loved it. This year he used it again. It still looked new and nothing was wrong with it, until we got a new puppy. The puppy decided he liked it too. So it was a no brainer to purchase another one, since I know it will hold up for more than one school year.
