What expensive shoes. Even though I am having trouble with my left foot, I still expected more. The cheaper Skechers were better. The fit was not right for me and I am returning them.

Bought these from Zappos in black a while back and just started wearing them within the past few months. Wow! They are wonderful! So comfy and good looking with nice slacks, jeans, leggings (with opaque knee hi's, of course!) and more. Thing is, I'm difficult to fit. I've had left knee surgery so that, sometimes, my left foot swells and tight, leather shoes can be very uncomfortable. These shoes are so wonderful, i'm contemplating buying yet another pair so I have them waiting when the pair i have wear out in case munro stops production of these amazingly comfortable shoes. Tried to get them in my size (11 med) in the stone color and not available. Hopefully, they will be soon. Highly recommend these shoes for anyone planning a trip that will include lots of walking and/or anyone who just desires a good-looking, comfortable shoe to wear when you go out and about wherever you may reside. Would not recommend wearing in snow or rain but that would be obvious, right? After all, they are made with "stretch fabric." if you try these shoes, you will get hooked. Trust me.

There is a magic to Munro American Traveler. I wore them all day standing on tiled floor and don't felt the back ache as I wear flats from other brands. Most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. It is stylish and can go either dress up or casual.

I've undergone four leg operations in the past 10 months and managed to get a broken ankle as well so my feet are a mess. These shoes are wonderful. None of my old shoes fit except sneakers. I thought I'd be wearing sneakers the rest of my life but these Munros saved me. And thank you, Zappos, for your return policy. It took five styles to fit me and not to put pressure on the tender areas of my feet and I am so grateful Zappos made it possible for me to return the four styles that did not work.

Great shoe and very comfortable and stylish with jeans and dress pants. I have wide feet and have had surgery on both feet and these are the most comfortable shoes I own. Well worth the price.

If you are like me and your feet swell a lot during the work day, these shoes will be perfect for you. The shoe is made of stretch material and it conforms to my foot not the other way around, LOL. Oh, yeah and they look good!

Great looking shoe. I normally wear an 8 M but found that these were extremely tight and could barely get them on. Returned and tried an 8 W but these are far too large. Very disappointed that I can't wear this shoe.

I have extra wide feet and most of my shoes just plain hurt. These do not and I am back to get another style of Munro's. I bought these for a month long vacation where we walked our legs off and they were a life saver.

Extremely comfortable. Seem to run a little narrow, so I ordered a wide rather than a medium width. I am very pleased with my purchase.

These are the most comfortable shoes I own. I have a narrow heel, and Munro's combination last means that their shoes don't slip up and down in the heel. I walked over a mile the first time I wore then, and no pain! They are well made and look great.

I am going to Paris in two weeks and ordered this style because of Angela's review. They were delivered in warp speed and fit perfectly. I was especially pleased that they fit with socks as well as stockings. Once again Zappos came through!

I love this shoe. It fits perfectly in every way. I have, so far, only worn it while at work which does not entail much walking but after 8-9 hours the shoes are still perfectly comfortable. Since they are made from fabric they are very light weight. The fabric doesn't really look like fabric, it looks great. Because of the stretchable fabric, there isn't a single spot that is uncomfortable for my feet. I normally wear an 11N. The pair I purchased is an 11N. They fit exactly. The only drawback to this is that it does not work for me to put other inserts in order to increase the arch support. So far, the existing arch support is fine. I don't know how it will be when I use them for extensive walking when traveling. I bought these thinking that they would be easy on/off when going through security at the airport. I am sure I was correct in that thinking. I am very pleased with this purchase. They are worth the expense.

Order first in a 9.5 M and found it to be too narrow, as most Munro are, but in the W, the sides near the ankle came up too far. I have "bony ankles" thought and have this problem from time to time. Wish they worked; they'd be perfect for so many occasions! I went with the Naot Noble instead.

Love this shoe, but need to exchange for a wide, and my foot is usually a medium. Munro runs narrow and this style is no exception.

Munro is the best shoe I have ever worn and I have been wearing them for over 20 years. That's all I ever buy. They are expensive, but worth every penny.

I walked all over Rome, Italy's cobblestoned streets for two weeks in these shoes, averaging 5.5 miles/day, and found them to be completely comfortable. I recommend them highly!

Love these shoes! The heel is too stiff for me. I don't think that part is going to 'break in'. Too bad. They will look great with any black pants or black tights.

I knew these shoes would be the "go to" black casuals in my wardrobe. I had purchased a pair of shoes like this (different brand) many years ago and just wore them out! When I saw the American Traveler I knew I had to have them. Munro's are the most well made shoes I own. I highly recommend Munro's. Additional plus is that Munro's come in large sizes and they are the most well made and comfortable shoes I own. The cost may be steep but they are well worth it!

Really comfortable & good support. Only returning because I have a very high vamp and this is very tight on me. The manufacturer says not to expect shoes to stretch to fit. Disappointing because it is very difficult to find really narrow shoes that are not 'grandma' styles.

Awesome shoes! I have a hard-to-fit 10.5AA foot. I couldn't believe when I first got these how comfortable they were and a year later they still are like wearing slippers. They look fantastic, very classy, and at the end of a long day my feet feel great. I bought another black pair and also the taupe/beige and wear them both a lot. The previous reviewers rated these shoes very highly and so I felt like I should try them and I am very happy I did. Thank you Munro!

LOVE this shoe. Wore it to do a lot of walking while looking sharp in the city in Santiago, Chile. It's comfortable for hours on end. I wear an orthotic that provides extra arch support, so I buy a half size up. The fabric is sturdy but flexible and gives it a little dressier look. I sprayed it with waterproofing with no change in color. Just perfect for travel!

I've worn Munroe 10N for ages -- this was way too short and narrow. It's a lovely shoe, but runs small.

These are wonderful Basic shoes with modern and intelligent design that is; Gortex fabric holds up in the rain and or snow, big rubber sole, comfortable well designed, and fashionable.

The Traveler and the Jolie are my go to shoes. No breaking in needed like most styles; comfy just right out of the box. I'm in my late 50s, wear size 10 W, have an high arch and instep, and heel problems-these two styles are for me! Munro, do not change styles or discontinue them. I want to buy more! only thing you need 2 add is more colors; I will buy in each color!

Munro shoes are wonderfully comfortable and this one was no exception. They are perfect right out of the box and accommodate those of us with minor foot problems. The only thing that is as good as these shoes is the amazing service provided by Zappos.
