Love the fit, style and comfort of this shoe. However, the strap across the top was so tight at first I could not wear them as my feet went numb in 1 hour. I have been stretching out the elastic in the strap band and now I can wear them, they just cut some pretty sharp lines across my feet still. Stretching them out helps, but it's a pain. Don't know why they made this so tight with no adjustment. If you are diabetic, I would not recommend these shoes.

Purchased to wear in Paris, lots of walking on cobblestone and other uneven streets. Not a true C width but felt fine after I took the pads out. When I returned noticed the leather at the toes wore badly - scrapped and ragged looking. Clarks that I wore just as much held up fine. Would expect a better quality of leather for this price.

Munroe seems to have a new fit and it is narrower in the toe box on almost all styles, including this one.

These shoes just arrived yesterday. Like a previous poster stated, even though I purchased a 10 W (I normally wear 9.5 W) these shoes squeezed my feet. They are pretty, but very uncomfortable. For the price I expected more comfort. I have to return these shoes. Also, there was one scrape on the heel of one shoe...they did not look completely new. Disappointed with this purchase.

I normally am a slim, so ordered the slim first. I was surprised that it was too narrow in the front part of the shoe, so I then ordered the narrow, and it fit. This is a beautiful shoe and it feels so comfortable. Thank you Munro, for making stylish dressy shoes (with heels) for those of us with really narrow feet, especially really narrow heels.

These pumps are by far the best pumps I have ever purchased! They were extremely comfortable from the moment I put them on. My feet are very wide, I have bunions and hammertoes, as well as heel spurs but I am able to wear these shoes all day with no pain! I wish they came in other colors. They are a little pricey but well worth it!

Well worth the money! This is the first heel I have been able to wear in over 3 years. The cushion insert is comfortable but it is easily taken out so I can put my orthotics into them for longer wear. I wore them for over 8 hours for a wedding, which was the main reason I purchased them. It is so nice to have a real dress shoe to wear out again. I will be picking out a brown pair next!

These are pretty shoes, but they are clunky looking for me since I wear a size 11. I tried the 11M (I do not have wide feet, but Munros seem to be narrow in general), too tight. The 11W is a quite comfortable fit, but looks enormous (I guess it is, by some standards). I will probably return those and try the Leanns or something in the future with a strap. I do not have wide feet at all, and for that reason I need a strap to hold the shoes on my high arched feet. They are lovely shoes, just not for me. I imagine that the bronze color would look smashing on someone. Thanks, Zappos, for your patience and for the incredible service. I recommend you to everyone I know.

The most comfortable shoe ever! I have a wide foot and typically buy shoes in Wide. I decided to get these in WW (double wide) and I am glad I did. The material is soft and smooth, I was able to dance in these for 4 hours straight and my feet were not hurting. I always carry flats with me whenever I go out in heels, but this time I didn't need to change into them because I was so comfortable in these heels. I am so glad I found a company who knows how to design comfortable shoes.

This is a beautiful shoe and I wish it fit. My foot is extra wide and short. This is a medium and I need a wide. I will go to the Munro shoes and try to find a suitable dress shoe in a 5W (almost impossible to find). The shoe was exceptionally made and the heel height is dressy without feeling overpowering. Sorry I couldn't wear it.

These shoes look nice in person, but for me the 7.5M was too narrow and too short. 7.5M is the size of another Munro shoe I have that fits fine.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable. I have super narrow feet and these shoes actually fit me to a tee. Love them.

Finally I found a beautiful shoe in my size (13m), that is comfortable and classy. Wore for my daughter's wedding, stood for long periods of time and walked around talking to guests, no sore feet! Munro shoes I have found comfort and great style. Thanks so much for the extended size range. There are a lot of other ladies like me, very tall and with a longer foot size really appreciate having some choice in style!

Not cheap, but worth every penny for the fit and comfort, and even style!, for problem feet. And Zappos got them to me in two days.

Love these shoes! Dressy and comfortable, silky smooth inside and I can wear my orthotics with them! The heel is just high enough for a dressy occasion, and they feel nice and snug and secure with the strap. It has a little elastic for a perfect fit. I have a high instep and these shoes are a great fit in that area. The toe is slightly pointed, but still roomy enough.

I have just received these shoes today and already love them! It is very hard for me to find shoes that fit. These are perfect. Although the color bronze is a bit darker than the picture, they will go well with anything. The elastic band in the "strap" helps the shoe stay on and looks elegant. I am so happy to have a pair of dress shoes now that fit!

Based on others' comments and the fact that I just bought a different pair of Munro American shoes that ran narrow, I ordered my normal size (10.5) but in the wide rather than medium. They fit beautifully and thanks to the strap I don't think I will need to add a heel pad to keep my heel from slipping. I like the retro styling and the shoes look just as good with a black pencil skirt or sheath dress as they do with pants. The shoes are comfortable for walking or for standing, which will be nice since I plan to wear them when I perform at weddings or receptions.

These are beautiful. They felt snug when I first tried them on, but in a way I was sure would settle. What I didn't allow for was the Mary-Jane strap, which is attached by very firm elastic. It puts so much pressure on my arch that the top of my foot becomes very painful after half a day's wear. So disappointed, as I didn't realize this til I'd worn them and couldn't send back. Still hoping the elastic will give a bit, but meanwhile, these are for decorative rather than functional occasions. SAD.

Although I am a HUGE Munro fan, I think they missed the mark on this one. They were not a good "fit" with my bunions, but for that I can't fault Munro. What I do have a problem with is the band across the foot which is just plain uncomfortable. I bought an 8WW because of my bunion problem and even with that I find the band digs in. I have had them stretched and am hoping that with some breaking in I will be able to wear these. But I am spoiled by usually being able to wear Munros comfortably right out of the box! Back to the drawing board on these, Munro!

These shoes are beautiful! I have small and narrow feet and they were way too tight. Hate having to ship them back, but the next size up will probably be too big in the heel.

I lusted after this shoe for more than a year, but $150 has been my top price and that rarely. I was so disappointed as soon as I took it out of the box. Compared with the insole of Clarks Sugar Plum -- at half this price -- there seemed to be nothing substantial there. Munro shoes usually permit use of an orthotic, so perhaps the theory is that the buyer will provide a proper insole. I wanted to keep this shoe so badly, I wore it in the house for about 10 minutes, standing at the sink on a thick rug to wash a few dishes. By the time I was done, the ball of my right foot hurt. This is not a trouble spot for me. A half hour later, it is still troubling me when I walk. So disappointed.

Beautiful shoe but the strap is tight across the arch. I normally wear a medium width in Munro shoes, but the strap is tight, even with the elastic insert.
