This tote is great for traveling. It fits under the airplane front seat nicely, and has many separate compartments so you have easy access to it during your flight.

I bought this carry-on at the last minute before our Mediterranean cruise. It is a wonderful bag, holds a lot, with easy access to everything because of all the compartments, both inner and outer, and...can be stowed under seat, so you can get to things during flight without opening the overhead area. It is very light and easy to carry through airports. I highly recommend this bag.

I chose this tote bag because it is one of only a few available with double-carry handles. I am short, and these are the right length for over the shoulder carrying for me. I could use the adjustable shoulder strap, of course, but the double handles just feel better, more secure, to me when I am walking some distance in an airport or on the street. The back sleeve is useful, too as it fits over my rolling carryon handle. The charcoal color is great as it will not show dirt and looks more interesting than black.

This is a great carry on bag. It works well because it is soft sided and has plenty of organization. It will fit nicely under the seat ahead of you on a plane, because of this you will not risk a head injury by having to take it out of the overhead compartment. I love that I can actually find whatever I want because I'd the organization. One very nice feature is a sleeve on the back of the bag. The sleeve allows the bag to fasten securely to a luggage handle as you are attempting to get through the airport. I own two colors of this bag, a dove grey, and espresso.

I bought this for a one night stay over away from home. There is more than enough room, and I could have stretched it to three or four nights. There is a place for everything in this bag. It is great color (blazing red), and easy to carry. I will use this again and again.

Wonderful carry on and lightweight and roomy. Love that you can slide it over handle of suitcase for easy transporting.

I need a large bag to hold lots of books and other stuff, but I hate backpacks -- this is such a great option! It it not too heavy by itself, and it holds tons of things! I keep a small little purse inside so I can leave it in the car if needed. So versatile and convenient! Also the bright red color balanced the utility feeling and makes it much more fashionable! This is a great bag. I love it. It is a great size to hold everything you could need for a weekend away or a carry on. I love the color, too!

I like to use this bag for carrying clothes to travel and I just thought of another another idea for this bag which is to carry files and a notebook or two.Its not really all that heavy either.Depends on what you put in it I guess.All in all I really like the bag and I am glad that I brought it.

I bought this bag as a my 2nd carry-on, as my small rolling duffel isn't always enough. I love that it slips over then handle of my main carry-on so I have the ease of two free shoulders. Great for a gym bag, too. Good pockets, light weight, durable, fun color. Definitely recommend this bag!

This is the best travel bag I have ever had. I used this bag as a purse, and brought a carry on bag as well. It carries as much as most carry ons, but light enough to be used as a purse. Great to take slightly empty and fill up as you purchase items to bring home when traveling. Also waterproof.

Very roomy and this blue is an attractive color. Packing now for flight to Orlando this week. Will be my carry on. The package arrived in a timely manner and I don't expect any problems with this bag. I like the different compartments and how they are made with thoughts about what each compartment might be used for.

Awesome bag. It's a little cheap looking, but I love all the pockets to store extras. I had a small back pillow, light jacket, two books, a couple of magazines, water, snacks, iPad, and other stuff neatly organized. Could have fit a lot more. Fits nice under airplane seat. Comfortable to carry. Glad I bought it.

This is the best weekend bag I've found. Holds a ton and is easy to carry with either handles or the shoulder strap! Also, works great as a carry-on personal item because it fits perfectly under the (coach) seat in front of you.

Love it. Needed bag that would slip over the luggage handle. Nice material. Will fit well under seat or in overhead of small plane. Fits plenty of clothes in case check in gets lost. Nice front pocket for paperback. Maybe not sturdy enough to protect laptop. Is tall enough for surface pro with a sleeve on it.

This is the perfect bag for a weekend trip or as an extra travel bag. Very roomy inside and plenty of pockets to stay organized.

This is a very roomy and light carry-on style bag with lots of pockets. Sturdy Kipling crinkle fabric means it should take a lot of abuse! Only problem with my order was that I ordered true blue and received a black one even though the plastic package indicated it was blue. But it's definitely black and so is the monkey! I decided black was okay and kept it - the true blue is a really dark color also. This is a 5 star bag!

Good bag. I use it as a diaper bag for my twins and it holds a good amount comfortably for the day out. Easy to clean and carry around. Well done Kipling and bravo to Zappos VIP as usual.

The bag is fantastic, it has tons of room and is very durable (I stuff it with heavy books) but it is also really lightweight, plus it is water-resistant. It arrived very promptly and in excellent condition. The only qualm I had was that the gorilla was a little creepy-looking, but it is on a keyring and can easily be removed from the bag, damage-free. Also, I wish there was a divider in the main compartment to separate a water bottle, but that is a minor nuisance and has not been problematic. I highly recommend both the bag and Zappos, the service was excellent (bag arrived early and in great condition).

The Kipling Sherpa tote is well made: zippers move well, handles are strong for a heavy load, material handles abuse and still looks good. The reason for only 3 stars is that it's just a well-make duffel bag. I bought it for a carry-on that could fit under the seat (which it does) and hold all the stuff I would need in flight. I packed a book, magazines, snacks, wallet, few toiletries, clear plastic essentials, neck pillow, sox. Trouble was, whenever I wanted something, I had to dig through everything to get it. Yes, there are a couple of small pockets in the front, but their usage is limiting. I didn't want my fruit or glasses there because that's where things get kicked around. I would have preferred at least one divider in the main compartment. Plus, it was heavy to carry when filled, with the all the weight in one place. I saw a small wheeled carrier I wish I had looked into. But this bag cost enough that it will have to last me for awhile.

Item received quickly from Zappos but was defective, inside pocket torn at seam very disappointed in quality of material used. will be returning.
