This is a gorgeous bag - I just happened to prefer the one in blue. It's a big deal for me to spend money on a bag, so I looked around for weeks before making my decision. I looked and touched: Coach, Kors, Tahara, Trump...so many more. Rebecca Minkoff really knows how to make the best bags! For instance, on this bag: The zipper opens wide for easy access. The side pockets are great - for cell phone, etc. Extra outside pocket/flap for other "goodies." You can tuck it up under your arm perfectly or use the shoulder strap - which lays perfectly on the shoulder with the weight of the purse evenly distributed! Even the smell and sounds of the bag are luscious and rich! Love it!

Perfection in handbag. This bag has it all. I have the Prune and the Grape one (rare colors to get) . The leather has a kind of luxurious shine without being to much for day wear. Such a high quality leather, lining and the hardware is also exceptional. I also love all the distinctive outside pockets to put small stuff without opening the bag each time you need something. I am thrilled and I received so many compliments mostly about he size, the color and the beauty of the bags. I will certainly buy a new color in that style or the MabMini to change. But why change if you have found the perfect love?

This bag is the best shade of pink. Every time I'm out with it I get compliments on how fantastic it is. It's got lots of wonderful pockets and might just be the perfect bag. Also the leather is really nice and the inside has a very cute polka dot lining. You should absolutely get this bag.

Love this bag! It is just about the size of a Mam and looks great any way it is carried. The handles fit comfortably over my shoulder and the strap is adjustable so I can carry it crossbody even though I'm 5'1... Amazing style with many pockets... It's my new favorite!

I'm returning it because I'm short (5'3) and the bag is too big for me. It's not as pretty as MAM.

This bag is perfect! I was worried before I bought it that it would be too big (I was considering this vs. the mab mini), but it's just the right size to carry everything I need without being a monster tote. And the color goes with everything, and feels both casual and fancy at the same time.

This bag is growing on me. The size, pocket layout, and handle options are fantastic - it's the bag you know you should love because it looks great on paper (and in photos). When it arrived, I wasn't sure: reviewers on other sites have repeatedly commented on the crinkly quality of the leather, and (except for the pink pebbled version) the leather is definitely crinkly. I think this is where color matters. A lot. I tried a taupe color (no longer available) that looked dirty and worn out of the box: hard to know whether this was a prior return or whether it was just the way that color looked (it was the last one available when I bought it). I even looked at different colors in stored during travel to other cities (Cupid does not exist in any store where I live). I wasn't won over by anything I saw -- the crinkle leather really is hit or miss. This is too bad, because this bag in one of the other leathers RM uses would be amazing and luxe in any color. In the lighter (weight) leathers with gold or silver hardware, it comes close but doesn't quite click. At the time I purchased the first one, I noticed and liked the Ecru, but it was the taupe was on sale, so...I returned the taupe and forgot about the Cupid. Cut to a couple of months later, scrolling through Clearance sale items over the holidays, behold: Ecru, on markdown. Ecru caught my eye for the neutral tone - and black hardware (found only on Ecru) which can complement yet not clash with the tone of hardware on a belt, or boots or coat. Knowing it was a gamble on look of the leather itself, I took a chance. I am pleased to report that as it softens, the shiny/crinkle is already mellowing into more richly weathered texture. For a light color with inherent shade variation, this bag is becoming especially lovely after less than a week. This bag needs to be seen & held before committing. Thanks to ZapposVIP, I tried again and found the love with Cupid.

I have the brown leather version. I've had to send this bag in twice for repairs. After the first year it completely started to fall apart - the clasps, the buckles, straps all wore down really terribly, the leather does not wear well and even with treating absorbs anything and every oil or debris that touches it. I am extremely disappointed, a bag at this price should not have pieces falling off it or breaking after a year. My Cole Haan (who I am definitely going back to!) lasted almost 6 years before you could notice it was back and forth to work every day. Cheapie stuff, don't buy!

Have this in dark navy with the gold detail. My favorite bags are usually in neutral colors and I like the fact that with the navy blue, it goes with just about anything. I have gotten a ton of compliments on it and even saw a knockoff of this at one of the big box stores. As much as I love small, cute purses, I tend to carry just about everything with me - I'm the "mom" type who is always prepared! I keep my keys in the side pocket and my phone in one of the side zip pockets (so easy to find!). I have a large checkbook style wallet, sunglass case, makeup bag, e-reader, card holder, 6x9 spiral calendar, 2 nylon reusable shopping bags and a bunch of small misc stuff in the inside cell pockets/zip pocket (lipgloss, pen, small lotion tube, snack bar, etc)...and still lots of room to spare. I've also fit a large 18oz water bottle or a small zip pouch with baby wipes, disposable changing pad and diaper when I'm out running errands. I don't use the long strap - at 5'0" to have it hanging from my side is a little overwhelming for my frame and a little awkward considering how much I hold in the bag. Have been using this for just under a year and love, love, love it - no problems thus far! Leather is soft, but the bag still holds its shape. Only con is that when my keys are in the side pocket and I'm carrying the bag - I have to remove the bag from my shoulder to get to the pocket (straps aren't long enough for me to just reach over).

I own 5 other RM bags, and love them to death. The leather on the cupid, however, looked cheap to me, and almost fake. It wasn't supple like RM bags usually are. My biggest problem was with the color. The leather color I ordered was called 'sand', but was more of an odd blush/pink/dull pastel color. That color mixed with the gold tone hardware screamed cheap looking to me, personal opinion. I thought the color was going to be a neutral light tan color. I know Steve Madden makes a replica knock off of this bag (saw it at TJ Maxx), and the bags looked to be the same quality, albeit one is real leather and one is fake leather. Overall, comfort and style get an A+. The leather was a C. Maybe a different colored leather won't look cheap like 'sand' did?

I just got this handbag, and I love it. I have been looking for a new handbag for several months and have made a few poor choices that I regret, and a good choice from Zappos that I liked a lot but found too small (thanks Zappos for the easy returns!). So I was a little nervous buying yet another handbag. But the one I was carrying was wearing out and it was past time. I am a petite person but I like a big handbag with lots of pockets and pouches. That is not always easy to find in a handbag that also has a lot of style. I can honestly say the Cupid has it all, and more. The leather is soft and supple and the handbag is beautiful. I ordered the "coral" color but it is more of a burnt orange with a peachy undertone. Great color to both make a fashion statement yet not be "too much." The quality is excellent. I was a little concerned when some of the reviews were questioning the leather but my handbag is great! I think I can finally put my search for the perfect handbag to rest for a while. (Except for maybe adding the Cupid in plum or rose gold?)

I had bought this purse last year in light blue. I loved it so much, I ordered it in navy blue for the winter. I get so many compliments on it...everyone wants to know who made it and where did I get it. I love all the zippered compartments and good pockets inside purse. Big enough to hold an iPad and just about anything else. The leather is soft and the color is vibrant. I have ordered this in other colors that I did not like. Browns and blacks... just okay. Go big and vibrant or not at all. As always...ease of return with Zappos.

I purchased this bag in rose gold at an outlet center. That is a color that I have never seen before. I get tons of compliments on it whenever I go out and I think that this bag and Rebecca Minkoff bags in general are becoming somewhat iconic. I love the size of the bag and it looks great and holds its shape even when you do not have that many items in it. This bag is made of supple, luxurious leather and it will last a long time.

Love my Rebecca Minkoff Cupid! I ordered the rose gold color and I get compliments everywhere I go! This purse looks better in person (less briefcase-ish) and has some bling to it and has many small details that I didn't appreciate until I had the bag in hand. Lots of space on the interior and also lots of little pockets built into the exterior that don't look like pockets. The leather is great quality too. I might pick up another in a more fall appropriate color. Love it!

I so love this bag! I was lucky enough to get it in a burnt orange on sale a few months ago. This bag to me is the perfect size as I'm able to carry everything I need in it. The outside pockets are great to put your most used items into and they look good also. The hardware really makes this bag look sharp. The feature of the drop handle clipped on instead of sewn into the pocketbook really helps the bag keep it's shape instead of stretching it out. The leather is very supple and very easy to wipe off should something accidentally get on it. I highly recommend this bag!

This bag is AMAZING! Quality is perfect, the color is vibrant and the leather is soft and supple. It has worn nicely overtime and has plenty of pockets and space.

Just got the bag not only 10 seconds ago. Was on sale which makes it more beautiful. The magenta/purple color is bright, brilliant and exciting. It's a color that goes all year long and can give any "all black outfit" a color blast. The other colors are at full price and if you are in love with a certain color, buy it, you won't go wrong with the beautiful leather of the bag. I don't pay full price for anything but if I could only find the bag at full price, it's one of those "investment purchases."

This bag is really beautiful and practical. It has so many pockets. The only thing that I do not like is that the metal clip got loose twice and the bag just fell on the ground. I do not even put in heavy stuff, that part is not a good design.

This is my first Rebecca Minkoff and it is a gorgeous purple bag with great pockets inside and out and a lot of room. It also has very attractive hardware. My only misgiving is the detachable strap is too short for a real comfortable cross body fit. I may have read the description wrong, but I though the drop of the strap was longer. It doesn't really serve a purpose as a shoulder strap; I don't buy shoulder strap bags because they fall off my shoulders. I buy bags that can be worn cross body. Which is the way I have been wearing my handbags for over 30 years. Everyone is just catching up to my style. So why they would make the strap, which actually can be shortened, but not lengthened by much, as short as it is does not make sense. That being said, the bag is so good looking that I decided to keep it. If it weren't I would have returned it. I may just switch out the strap for one of my longer black ones from a Cole Haan bag.

Nice quality but I had to return. I was looking for true navy and this is more of a purple blue. Also thought the shoulder strap caused the bag to hang too low on me - and I'm 5'9".

This bag is ginormous! Somehow, even though the dimensions were clearly written in the description, I didn't realize that it would be such an overwhelming size. I think you'd have to be extremely tall to carry this off...and I'm petite. Although I adore the color, the styling, the hardware, the placement of the satchel handles, and especially the look of silver fittings against bright pink, this bag is going back. I'll be looking to see if Rebecca makes something similar in a scaled-down version.

I was so excited to get this bag. I got the navy color. It looked great until I took it out of the bag. This bag came prepackaged in a plastic bag which is odd for a bag of this price. It is pretty and the color is nice but I would be surprised if this bag is actually genuine leather. This bag smells like pure plastic. It had to go back.
