I know, I know, I was skeptical, too. Uggs are for sorority girls to wear with their North Face jackets. Even some of the models aimed at men are a bit... Uggly. I don't know who pushed for this over at Ugg Australia, but these new men's boots are downright sharp. The lines are smooth, clean and minimalist enough for office wear. The Vibram sole is built for manly treks through the mud and snow. The leather is a supple, smooth mahogany. By all appearances, this is a MAN boot. Nobody has to know that inside the boot you've foregone socks so you could feel the gentle caress of that shearling lining. And you will. It's like wearing slippers. I took a chance on these since they were new and had no reviews, and I don't regret it at all. Whether they are worth the cost depends on how long they last. If I could change one thing about them, I'd get rid of the Ugg logo on the back heel, but it's honestly less noticeable than you'd think. Give it another year or two -- these things will become ubiquitous.

After comparing 6 different types of Ugg boots I picked this one. My three criteria were that it had to be waterproof, have good arch support so I could walk around all day in it, and be fully lined on the inside. I ruled out all the slip-on boots because I normally wear my shoes tight and I like how the lacing allows my to make the shoe as tight as I like. I also looked at the Ugg Sahale, but even though it looks nice in the photo it's quite ugly in person. Normally I wear a size 10.5 and I got this in 11 because I plan to wear it with socks. I'd say go half a size down if the intention is to wear it without socks. I've been very happy with this shoe so far. It's really warm and I enjoy having good arch support. The leather does start to show fold lines after a couple of wears so it's not nice and smooth any more but I didn't think it was a big deal.

I love this boot! I get compliments every time I wear them. The leather has a deep, rich feel. The sheep skin lining is full throughout the interior of the boot, and keeps my feet very warm. These boots are lightweight yet sturdy. I have been wearing them for two weeks straight. Never needed breaking in. Plenty of room for my orthodic insoles when needed. They look good for business casual, yet strong enough for tough chores around the house. You won't regret this purchase.

Super comfy, as would be expected from Ugg. I think the white sole is cheesy looking, but I'm hoping it will quickly darken as the bot gets dirty. The leather is thin and very pliable. That makes for an easy break in period, but I have my doubts about durability. These are definitely fashion boots designed to looks like work boots, not tough boots that are sheepskin lined. Overall, I like them, just know what you are getting into.

I bought these for my husband and for my son. They both love the boots. They said they are very comfortable and warm. Even though they are lined with the Ugg shearling they are not too warm. My son said he wore them all day on the college campus and they were great. My son got them in the black and my husband in the chestnut color.

I bought these for my son for Christmas. He was really happy with them and especially liked the lining for warmth and comfort.

The only thing I don't like is the obnoxious UGG logo on the back. I love everything else. The lining is like a cloud kissing your feet (especially in the cold). They are waterproof but are still very stylish (hard to find). Finally, they are very comfortable. The Vibram sole makes them light and flexible so they are only a bit heavier than shoes.

I loved these as soon as I saw them and I was very impressed with the fit. The interior is super comfortable and soft with a lot of support. The exterior of this boot seems very durable and well made. I treated mine with Weather Guard to prevent any water/road salt - damage. Also, these only come in full sizes and I sized down from a 10.5 to a 10 and they fit perfect.

Great pair of boots from Ugg, looks amazing with boot cut jeans. Very comfortable, however, I'm a 10 and found the 10 a little small and the 11 a little too big. I wish they had them in 10.5. Other than that, highly recommend.

My first pair of Ugg boots and I have to say I'm very impressed. Much lighter than my other similar style boots made by other brands and the entire interior is lined with super soft sheep fur. Because of the thick fur lining, I would recommend going up a half size. I normally wear size 8.5 and I ordered a size 9 and it fits perfect.

Great looking boot with the comfort of the lamb fur throughout the inside. Keeping warm in those cold winter months. Waterproof is a plus, too. Bit on the pricey side but I'm hoping these hold up for a few winters.

My husband loves his. He's very particular and would never have agreed to me buying Uggs for him but after our trip to Boulder, going from sledding to skiing to swimming (so nice not to need socks) to dining he has declared them his best pair ever. I was reassured by another reviewer's assurance that the Ugg label is inconspicuous. He's right--these are very cool, very masculine and very functional.

Let me first start off by saying I had been looking all over Zappos for a nice, warm boot. Frustrated by generic, boring boots, I became interested in UGGS, even if pricey (I'd never spent over $100 on shoes before). I liked the idea of the sheepskin lining n UGGS but generally hated their design and looks. Enter the Hannen, which not only look great, but they have laces (I don't like slip on boots) and the sheepskin lining, a combo not offered before. I bought a size down to start. I normally wear an 8, so I got a 7. They were way too small so I bought the 8 and returned the 7. While these are lined with the sheep skin and you can definitely wear them barefoot, I live in the Midwest and it gets pretty cold so I really wanted to wear socks with them. I couldn't even get the boot on with socks. So, I would buy the size you are used to wearing. These are leather, not the ones that girls wear that stretch out. I've worn these several times already, one of them being an outdoor football game in 15º degree weather. I only wore a thin pair of socks with them and my feet were relatively warm. I was not moving around in them so I didn't expect my feet to be sweaty outside. I've walked over a mile in them, uphill and down, they were still very comfortable, which I was nervous due to the price. This is a great, all around boot. It says they are waterproof but I haven't really had a chance to test them out yet in snow or anything. Overall, they look great, especially with boot-cut jeans. I got grey because they work with any shade of jeans, as well as khakis if I want. Since purchasing these boots, I am a fan of UGG now and understand that you are paying for quality with these. These were my first pair, but definitely not my last! Just hoping they last me a while!

It's a beautiful boot! I get compliments on them all the time. It looks great with jeans and very comfortable but the leather does scratch easily and fades rather fast, so be careful.

Very warm, and comfortable. Good looking winter boot. I do mostly city walking. I feel I really didn't need to break these in. I would recommend this product.

I waited a couple of months to write a full review on these boots. And I absolutely love them, but a couple things to keep in mind: 1) the boots are a wide, but makes sense due to the fact that these are real lamb wool on the inside 2) the leather is soft/loose so it does give a look that you are flat footed (this is bothersome, I am an athletic person, so staring down at my feet which appear to be flat footed is annoying - but it is only from a bird's eye perspective, you cannot see it from the side or any other angle). Those are really my only two gripes about these boots. By far these are the best Winter boots one could buy, I live in Canada where it is frigid weather during the Winter months, these boots definitely do the job of keeping my feet warm. These boots, in particular, are more for the stylish man that is looking for a warm boot. I also own a pair of Red Wings Heritage Classic same style, but are more suitable for spring/fall months. I can say with great certainty that these boots are only made to wear in snowy/cold weather, you may want to skip for something lighter for any other season.

Best boots you will ever own. I wear them everywhere. If your friends make fun of you they will eventually want a pair. The fact that these boots cost this much is insane but they are worth every penny.

Love these boots. I usually wear 8.5, sized up to the 9 in these and they fit great. I've found without socks is nice. When I take them off my feet are not sweaty, even after wearing several hours indoors. They are very soft and light, my legs don't feel fatigued after wearing several hours. I would say these are not a work boot, but great for casual winter wear and light (a few inches) snow. I purchased both the grizzly suede and the leather stout, both beautiful - made for a tough choice which to keep. Kept the suede, felt it looks a little less like a work boot then the leather. Hit them with a suede protector spray when you get them. I didn't and noticed salt stains were difficult to remove, I think the spray should take care of this though. Come with an extra set of laces in red which look good too. Super fast shipping from Zappos, very satisfied!

Super comfortable, like every Ugg boot I've bought. I was due for a new pair after wearing the Osbian boot for years. These work-boots fit more securely and they have a great look. The suede finish is an interesting change from the leather finish I was used to. The suede doesn't wrinkle like the leather (though leather is a great look as well). Big thumbs up on these, even better than I thought they'd be, tons of compliments. Ordering from Zappos was once again flawless, immediate delivery. There could be better "sale" sites out there on the interweb, but no better service than Zappos.

I gifted these boots to my 16 year old son as a Christmas gift. Can I just say he is the envy of all his friends. Not only are they on trend with style but the warmth and comfort are awesome. I would highly recommend these boots for both the style and function. I will be ordering these boots for my husband's birthday gift. He will be 52. These boots are timeless in style and well suited for the younger man as well as the mature sophisticated man!

These boots are very comfortable and very warm. Owing to the foam soles, the boots are also extraordinarily lightweight. These are quickly becoming my favorite boots.

We love them! My 15 year old son wore them all over New York during the holidays. No break in needed, they looked great with jeans and slacks. They are very comfortable!

Fantastic pair of boots. I am a funeral director and need something that looks dressy enough to wear outside on frigid Cleveland mornings, and these complete the task. They are completely waterproof and the rugged bottoms help significantly in slippery conditions.

My husband has fussy feet. Almost every shoe I have tried to buy him, he finds fault with...but he loved these. Comfy, classic style, quality. He doesn't like arch support.

I wear tactical style boots for 12 plus hour shifts and also in the military since 1997. UGG boots are the real deal. They are awesome. I bought these boots for casual winter wear. hey look great and the stitching is true. Extremely comfortable and require very little to no break in. I wear a size 10 and I feel they are true to size. They feel snug when you put them on at first but it is just the feel of the plush lining. Considering the cost of some sneakers these boots are a good deal.
